Reason for Foster: Upper Respiratory Infection (URI) Foster Time Frame: Approximately 2 Weeks ( Recheck 7/3)(The foster timeframe may vary depending on recovery and any follow-up medical needs.) Foster Care Plan: Dunn is being treated for an upper respiratory infection, which is similar to a common cold. While recovering, they may have symptoms such as sneezing, congestion, and nasal/eye discharge. Because URI can be contagious to other dogs, we recommend keeping them separated from resident dogs until they have fully recovered.They will go home with medication and all the supplies needed for their care. Once treatment is complete, they will return to Operation Kindness for their spay/neuter surgery and adoption. How to take this pet home:Adopt: Dunn is available through our Foster-to-Adopt Program, which allows prospective adopters to take pets home before they are available for adoption.Visit Operation Kindness and speak with our Client Services team. SWEET SWEET SWEET! Found as a stray dumped in the country. Amazingly, Finn has a great temperament and has been evaluated by an accredited behaviorist. He passed all his tests with flying colors. We are happy to share her evaluation with any prospective family. Finn is about 3 years old, neutered, current on vaccinations, hw negative and microchipped. He is learning about toys in his foster home and how to live inside. Finn LOVES people! He kissed the vet, the tech, and everyone in the waiting room at the vet clinic. Finn is very smart and catches on quickly to what you are teaching him. He will make a fabulous addition to the right family.
