SWEET SWEET SWEET! Found as a stray dumped in the country. Amazingly, Finn has a great temperament and has been evaluated by an accredited behaviorist. He passed all his tests with flying colors. We are happy to share her evaluation with any prospective family. Finn is about 3 years old, neutered, current on vaccinations, hw negative and microchipped. He is learning about toys in his foster home and how to live inside. Finn LOVES people! He kissed the vet, the tech, and everyone in the waiting room at the vet clinic. Finn is very smart and catches on quickly to what you are teaching him. He will make a fabulous addition to the right family. For more information on adopting Finn, please email can.adoptions@yahoo.com or call 903-967-3226.

Story
My name is Sydney and I am a 30 lb, 3 year old Mini Aussie mix, spayed, healthy, athletic, and FUN! I love people, food (all food, especially spinach!), and tennis balls. I also enjoy car rides, going to fun places (especially if you help me not feel overwhelmed by too many stranger dogs), playing fetch (best thing on the planet!), and crushed ice! My Faux Mom and I have been working really hard to get me ready for you! I have nice house manners, and am learning to have nice manners with other dogs. I live with a dog who tolerates my Mini Aussie herding style and the way I alert them to noises and squirrels! My dog friends need to give me a little space, and be OK with sharing all their toys. I eat in my crate so my dog friend doesn’t have to worry that I’ll eat all her food and we can both eat in peace. I sleep through the night in my crate, and am crated when no people are home, and I don’t mind that at all. I’m hoping for a home with a nice yard for ball play (do this enough, and I won’t need a lot of other exercise!) with no small animals (chasing is SO FUN!) and no small children (same reason). I am located in the DFW area of Texas and can’t wait to have a home of my own. Please apply to adopt me at bcrrt.com.

Story
Izzy is a special girl looking for her forever home. She’s full of heart, endless cuddles, fierce loyalty, and pure joy when a tennis ball or her beloved donut toy appears. Izzy may take a little time to warm up, but once you’re hers, you’re hers — her person, her safe place, her whole world. She would thrive in a quiet home with no young children and no other dogs. She’d love an older couple or empty-nest home where she can soak up attention, enjoy calm walks, play a good game of fetch, and then curl up inside with her people. She has a great off-switch and knows when it’s time to relax. She’s 6 years old, 41 lbs, spayed, up to date on vaccines, crate trained (but does well out), walks nicely on leash (strong girl!), rides great in the car, and is located in DFW. Izzy doesn’t need perfect — she just needs hers. If you think that might be you, apply today at BCRRT.COM

Story
A bit nervous at first. Likes to snuggle once she gets to know you. Loves "Easy Cheese"! Super high energy, dances around on her back legs. Potty trained. Knows sit, paw, and good on a leash. Luna is currently in a foster home. She doesnt like to be touch in the face so she will do better in a home with older kids. She can still be met with and adopted, but by appointment only. Story
Trenton is a 2.5-year-old neutered male Heeler/Hound mix with handsome red and white coloring and beautiful speckling that makes him just as unique as his personality.Trenton came from a situation where there were many dogs and very little positive interaction with people, so he is still learning what it means to feel safe and comfortable in a home. He will need a patient, calm owner who understands that he may need a longer decompression period and plenty of time to adjust at his own pace.He can be avoidant with people at first, but with patience, consistency, and some tasty treats, he may begin to come around. During a recent Doggy Day Out, Trenton did well in the car and calmly explored the home. Then he discovered the couch and quickly decided it was the best place on earth! He settled in for a long nap and even allowed his volunteer to sit beside him and gently pet him while he rested.Trenton would do best in a home with a calm, well-mannered dog who can help teach him how to “dog,” build confidence, and show him that affection from people can be a good thing. Introductions will need to be slow, and Trenton may seem indifferent toward another dog at first—and that’s perfectly okay. With time, we expect him to begin watching and mirroring the behaviors of his canine companion. A meet and greet will be required. One place Trenton really lets loose is around water! He loves playing in the splash pad, especially when he gets to chase his siblings through the water. He also enjoys playing tug with stuffed animals and is continuing to make progress on leash.Trenton would do best in a calm home without young children and with a securely fenced yard where he can explore and build confidence. He may not be the dog who runs up asking for affection on day one, but with time, patience, a confident canine friend, and plenty of treats, Trenton has the potential to discover just how good life in a home can be.
