Story
Lulu Smart, Steady, and Ready for Her Forever Family If you’ve been searching for a dog who’s the perfect blend of brains, beauty, and heart, let us introduce you to Lulu. This Border Collie mix is the kind of girl who makes life better just by being in it. She’s athletic, clever, loyal, and always up for a little adventure. Whether it's a long walk, a romp in the yard, a squirrel‑watching mission, or a car ride to anywhere you want to go, Lulu loves being part of whatever her people are doing. She also has opinions and is happy to share them with you. She’s also wonderfully calm and content at home. After a good day of exploring, she settles in easily, happy to share space, relax, and enjoy the quiet. Lulu’s Best Qualities: Exceptionally smart and eager to learn Crate‑trained, housebroken, and great on leash Knows her basic commands and has solid manners Friendly with dogs, gentle with cats, and wonderful with kids Respectful at mealtime and easy to live with Affectionate without being clingy. She loves connection, not constant attention Lulu is the kind of dog who checks in with her people, stays aware of her surroundings, and takes pride in being part of the team. She’ll help keep the yard safe, keep you company on outings, and curl up contentedly when the day winds down. Her Ideal Home: Lulu would thrive with someone who enjoys activity and companionship. She'll do well with a family with kids, a home with other dogs to play with, or an adopter who loves walks, adventures, and having a smart partner by their side. Give her structure, love, and a place to belong, and she’ll give you loyalty, laughter, and her whole heart. Her foster family says she’s “perfect.” They’re not wrong, and she just might be perfect for you. ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://iamdogrescue.org/adoption-application/ ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** Our adoption fee is $175. We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to match dogs with families that will be a good fit to help ensure a successful adoption. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason. Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference is required, and a trial period will be completed before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.

Story
My name is Sydney and I am a 30 lb, 3 year old Mini Aussie mix, spayed, healthy, athletic, and FUN! I love people, food (all food, especially spinach!), and tennis balls. I also enjoy car rides, going to fun places (especially if you help me not feel overwhelmed by too many stranger dogs), playing fetch (best thing on the planet!), and crushed ice! My Faux Mom and I have been working really hard to get me ready for you! I have nice house manners, and am learning to have nice manners with other dogs. I live with a dog who tolerates my Mini Aussie herding style and the way I alert them to noises and squirrels! My dog friends need to give me a little space, and be OK with sharing all their toys. I eat in my crate so my dog friend doesn’t have to worry that I’ll eat all her food and we can both eat in peace. I sleep through the night in my crate, and am crated when no people are home, and I don’t mind that at all. I’m hoping for a home with a nice yard for ball play (do this enough, and I won’t need a lot of other exercise!) with no small animals (chasing is SO FUN!) and no small children (same reason). I am located in the DFW area of Texas and can’t wait to have a home of my own. Please apply to adopt me at bcrrt.com.

Story
Izzy is a special girl looking for her forever home. She’s full of heart, endless cuddles, fierce loyalty, and pure joy when a tennis ball or her beloved donut toy appears. Izzy may take a little time to warm up, but once you’re hers, you’re hers — her person, her safe place, her whole world. She would thrive in a quiet home with no young children and no other dogs. She’d love an older couple or empty-nest home where she can soak up attention, enjoy calm walks, play a good game of fetch, and then curl up inside with her people. She has a great off-switch and knows when it’s time to relax. She’s 6 years old, 41 lbs, spayed, up to date on vaccines, crate trained (but does well out), walks nicely on leash (strong girl!), rides great in the car, and is located in DFW. Izzy doesn’t need perfect — she just needs hers. If you think that might be you, apply today at BCRRT.COM

Story
Boots is a LOVER! This 2 year old, 36 pound, neutered, healthy boy is up to date on all vetting and vaccinations and ready to be yours! He loves to cuddle up next to you or lay his head by yours at night. He does crate well but also does well outside of the crate. He walks on the leash well and will come when called if off leash. He loves to play with his foster brother - throw a ball and he is all about it. Want to tug? Bring it on! He is great with kids. Boots should not live in a home with cats. He is a beautiful dog inside and out and would love to find his FURever home snuggled up next to you! Please fill out an application to adopt at bcrrt.com.
