Meet Ahtty!   This affectionate boy is always ready to make a new friend—and hopefully find a family of his own!   Age: 3 years Sex: Neutered male Breed: Border Collie mix Colour: Brown & white Weight: 15 kg / 33 lbs Shoulder height: 45 cm / 17.7 inches   Rescue Story Ahtty was rescued from a municipal shelter in May 2026. He currently lives at a rescue dog café in Korea, sharing his days with around 20 other dogs while waiting for his forever home.   With People Ahtty loves meeting people! When visitors arrive, he approaches them first, snuggles into them, and asks for pets. Loud voices may startle him, but he doesn’t typically retreat or run away.   His main caregiver is a man, and he is comfortable with men, although he seems especially drawn to female visitors. He can be picked up and held, and once he gets to know you, he’ll happily show you his belly!   With Other Dogs Ahtty is friendly with dogs of all sizes. He approaches both familiar and new dogs to say hello and invite them to play.   With Cats During a brief cat test, Ahtty showed interest without aggression. His experience with cats is limited, so gradual, supervised introductions would be needed.   Energy & Walks Ahtty has a moderate energy level. He enjoys outdoor activities and settles down to rest afterward. He tends to pull on the leash, but generally follows his handler well and would benefit from continued leash practice.   Other Habits • He has shown no food guarding toward people or other dogs. • He may bark to ask for something he wants. • He stays calm when placed in a kennel. • He currently uses both indoor pee pads and outdoor spaces for potty breaks. • He may mark in a new environment. Living with around 20 other dogs could be contributing to this behaviour, so he’ll need guidance as he adjusts to a home.   Ahtty has plenty of affection to share. Meet Yogi! This wonderful boy has come so far! His story is amazing and we are so proud of him. Yogi was locked in a barn for the first year of his life. He never saw the sun, never touched grass, never got to meet people or other dogs. He was very shut down when he arrived and we have spent many months working with him. Slowly but surely Yogi has come out of his shell. For the past few months he has been fostered by our trainer Melissa and Yogi has made even more leaps and bounds. This boy is so so sweet, so gentle, so kind. You can't help but fall in love with him.  Here is what his trainer/foster has to say about Yogi: Yogi (AKA The Yog-Meister, Yogurt, and Yogis) is the sweetest boy you'll ever meet! At 3yrs of age, Yogi is young and energetic, requiring a fenced yard for his daily "morning run". He loves a good game of tug, works for praise, and finds physical touch to be his preferred love language.  Yogi is as loyal as they come - he puts a lot of trust into his handler and feels the most safe around them. Having been found abandoned in a horse barn, he requires someone who will be patient in guiding him when experiencing the world beyond a horse barn stall.  Yogi will do best with someone who is physically active or can meet his mental & physical needs, including someone who may be interested in participating in dog sports such as Treibball or herding trials.  Yogi co-exists peacefully with our resident dog, a 6yr female mix with moderate energy - they will take turns chasing each other in the yard, play tug, then relax in the living room together.  Yogi has a customized training plan for his walks due to the excitement he feels when cars pass - his innate drive to chase can take over in these moments.  This dear boy will do best in a home without young children. He is still easily startled. A home with a secure yard is a must.  If you’re looking for your new best friend, Yogi would be so happy to share his love with you.  Yogi is vaccinated, neutered and chipped. When I was still very young, I was placed on a euthanasia list. But someone chose not to give up on me. I was rescued and spent a month at a training center for evaluation — and the result was summed up in one word: “Perfect.” ✨ Now I’m living safely in a foster home, waiting for my forever family. My biggest charm? My social skills! I get along beautifully with other dogs, especially smaller ones. I’m playful and energetic, but also thoughtful — I actually prefer playing with dogs smaller than me and adjust my energy to match theirs. I don’t just play… I play kindly. 🐶💕 I love running, playing, and burning off my energy with friends. I prefer pottying outdoors, and after a good play session, I’m happy and satisfied.
