Hi there, I’m Boomer Jr., but my foster mom calls me Boom! I’m about a year old Boxer mix and a total lovebug. I made my way to Minnesota all the way from North Carolina after a hurricane so the shelter there could help more pups in need. Now, I’m ready to find my forever home! I’m the good boy—fully potty trained, kennel trained, and eager to learn. I’ve already mastered "sit," "lay down," and "get down," and I’m super food-motivated, so teaching me new tricks will be a breeze. I love making doggie friends, especially bigger ones, because sometimes I forget my size and play a little too hard with the tiny pups. I would need a home with another dog because I love to play! I’m also great in the car—I’ll just curl up and relax while you drive. I do get a bit nervous around new people and might bark or growl at first, but give me a treat or two, and I’ll be your best friend in no time. Because of this, I’d do best in a home without small kids, as sometimes I am anxious. I’m a playful guy with lots of energy, so a fenced yard would be perfect for me to zoom around in. Hi everyone, I'm very excited to tell you about this very special little girl, Gidget. She is a Boxer mix puppy with estimated birthdate of March 2025, and is currently 24 pounds at 14 weeks. Gidget is a very energetic, happy little puppy who will embrace you once you walk into your home every day! Gidget will just melt your heart once you look into those sweet innocent honey eyes and long soft face. She will snuggle up right into your neck. She makes you feel at ease once you hear her sigh as she rests her head on your shoulder. Gidget is hoping to find her forever family soon so she can give you all the love and reassurance that she will always be there for you. Gidget is great with kiddos and other pets. Unfortunately we are allergic to cats so she hasn't been around them yet, but I'm pretty sure she'll get along with them just fine. Gidget is very smart! She has learned sit, laid down, and shake. She is a great problem solver and loves to find treats in those puzzle toys. She is almost potty trained at this point. His favorite past times include… - wrestling with his doggie brother (ask about his signature summersault move) - playing with toys - getting snuggles - being outside (loves our fenced yard, leash training needs work but he is a quick learner) - learning new tricks (he is very smart! Has done great with sit, lie down, and potty bells) Yoshi is the sweetest, little gem of a dog, with lots of personality and some sass. He came to rescue needing lots of love and nourishment. Because of this, he does display some resource guarding, specifically with other dogs and does need to be fed separately (in another room with a door), and not given yummy, chewy treats in the presence of another dog (such as bully sticks). This has been an easy accommodation for us and our resident dog. Yoshi does get quite vocal when playing, and does bark at pups walking past, or loud noises, but he is doing great with redirection! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Yukon (Yuki) was dumped at a high kill shelter in West Texas. He is deaf, but that does not slow him down. Best fit home would have a fenced in yard to keep him safe and a companion dog. He is good with other dogs, kids, and cats (dog savvy ones because he likes to chase to play and lick them). All dogs and puppies require supervision and training. Yuki can be sometimes be shy at first but don't let that fool you, he quickly warms up and is the best boy. He is a smart boy who learned signs and schedules fast. He loves to run and play with dogs (and cats but he doesn't understand his size to theirs). He loves everyone he meets and thinks all dogs are his friends. He is working on leash skills. He is a gem and anyone would be lucky to have him as part of their family. Because he is deaf, he has a big bark and grumbles when he plays, which sometimes causes another dog to pause to figure out what he really wants..which is to play. He is a sweet boy who once he knows you enjoys head scratches, but he loves touches from everyone anywhere else. Seeing what is happening is important to him since he can't hear for example, if you try to pet him on the top of the head, he will duck and bob his head to avoid what he can't see but still wants the pets, just under the chin or neck. His darling underbite doesn't slow him down chowing down his food, but sometimes can make for slobbery handoff when he takes treats. He has the funniest little personality and is such a sweet cuddly little boy! He bonds fast and hard to his people and loves to be near them. He has had a few accidents inside but there are signs that he shows when he needs to go out now, like standing by the door or whining. He’s doing great at kennel training and is fine in the kennel as long as it’s covered with a blanket. He hasn’t been introduced to cats but is great with every dog he’s met, big and small! Hello, my name is Frodo or Fitzgerald! I’m a one year old happy energetic pup that’s listed as a Great Dane Mix. I’m overall pretty friendly with all. I am kennel trained and a great eater, which means I’m also fun to teach new tricks to! I would be best suited to go to a new home that has a schedule and lifestyle that I can be a huge part of. Since I’m young and full of energy I would do best in a fenced in yard or have the ability to have new activities I can be a part of like hiking or day trips to explore new places. I need solid leadership as sometimes I need to be a little recentered or refocused when I get over stimulated. Because of this, I would be best in a place without young children as I’m still a little uncoordinated from time to time and little kid energy is a bit confusing for me. Kids who are a little older and are interested in helping train me are definitely an exception. Basically from the get go I’m going to just need consistency throughout everyone in the household to help me learn the rules so I can settle in successfully. My current foster mom does in-home boarding at our house so I spend my days meeting new dogs and some new people, so I am pretty well socialized and very much thrive with all the constant stimulation. I do best meeting others outside my kennel in an open space, I tend to be submissive and take appropriate correction from dogs older than me, very well as I’m constantly learning ways to play with all different sizes and breeds. I can't wait to find my forever family!
