Hi, my name is Raven and I am from Arkansas! I am the sweetest girl ever. I am calm, gentle, and so so sweet. I LOVE to nap and cuddle up with my humans and go for strolls (I LOVE squirrels). I am very curious about other humans and puppers and love to say hi. I am a bit nervous about new things at first, but I just need some encouragement. My current humans leave me out when they are gone, and I LOVE to nap on the couch and play a little, and I don't make a mess. I do have some anxiety in a crate but am very relaxed and trustworthy when I have so much love to give, and hope it can be to you! P.S. I will give you ALLLLL of the kisses EVER!!

Welcome Honey to CCPAL foster Program. Honey is a 3 year old Boxer mixed dog. She is potty trained. We think Honey survived the flood in Kerrville. A good samaritan has taken her in and is giving her good nutrition and love until we find her forever home. She was really scratched up and had a wound on her front left leg. She will be spayed soon and she is going to the vet again for a follow up on her leg. Our guess is it may have gotten broken and healed back on it’s own due to what she has gone through. She is good on a leash, very loving and bonds deeply. She lives with 5 cats right now but she is much too interested and we feel her best home would be without cats. She loves all people and no one is a stranger. She is good with dogs her size and is an energetic girl. Her best home would be with an active and ourdoorsy family that wants a great companion to join them in their outdoor fun. She is looking wonderful and filling out nicely in her new foster home. She lost some muscle around her bum area due to the length of time she was without food. Despite this, she would make an amazing family pet. She would love to be the only dog and be the center of her families attention. She weighs about 40 pounds and is a taller dog but medium weight. She is great in a car and would make a great dog in settings where lots of people are around. She is lower in shedding. She will be getting spayed soon and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Meet Boss, a Boxer mix born in mid September 2025, who is doing amazing! He walks great on a leash, is doing fabulous with potty training, and sleeps quietly in his kennel at night and during the day while his family is gone. Hi there, I’m Boomer Jr., but my foster mom calls me Boom! I’m about a year old Boxer mix and a total lovebug. I made my way to Minnesota all the way from North Carolina after a hurricane so the shelter there could help more pups in need. Now, I’m ready to find my forever home!   I’m the good boy—fully potty trained, kennel trained, and eager to learn. I’ve already mastered "sit," "lay down," and "get down," and I’m super food-motivated, so teaching me new tricks will be a breeze. I love making doggie friends, especially bigger ones, because sometimes I forget my size and play a little too hard with the tiny pups. I would need a home with another dog because I love to play!   I’m also great in the car—I’ll just curl up and relax while you drive. I do get a bit nervous around new people and might bark or growl at first, but give me a treat or two, and I’ll be your best friend in no time. Because of this, I’d do best in a home without small kids, as sometimes I am anxious.   I’m a playful guy with lots of energy, so a fenced yard would be perfect for me to zoom around in.
