Story
Meet Brandy, a beautiful tabby and white girl with a gentle heart and a bit of a sassy streak! She may start off a little shy when meeting someone new, but give her time and space, and you’ll quickly see her sweet, affectionate side shine through.Brandy has the cutest way of showing love—head bumps and full-body rubs are her signature moves (a trait she shares with her siblings). Once she feels comfortable, she’ll be by your side, offering affection and even the occasional kiss—on her terms, of course. She’s grown up in a lively home with cats, foster kittens, and dogs of all sizes, and she fits right in. Brandy has never been without feline companionship, so she’d thrive in a home with at least one other friendly cat. She loves to play all day with her furry friends, chasing, pouncing, and entertaining everyone around her.At night, she turns into a little cuddle bug. Brandy will seek you out for snuggles and might even cry if you close the bedroom door on her—she wants to be near her person when it’s time to wind down. While Brandy is incredibly loving, she also has a bit of spice and might not be the best fit for homes with very young children. She knows what she likes and isn’t afraid to let you know!Brandy has developed particular taste in food—she’s picky with wet food but adores Dr. Marty’s freeze-dried chicken kibble. Her dry food is left out for grazing, and she’s doing well with the litter box, with no specific litter preferences. One of Brandy’s most adorable quirks? She wags her tail like a dog when she’s happy! And her meow? It’s more of a soft, sweet “Muuuu” sound that will absolutely melt your heart.Oh—and we can't forget her most impressive talent: Brandy is a professional pole dancer on the cat tree, showing off moves that are equal parts graceful and hilarious. If you're looking for a playful, cuddly, slightly sassy companion with lots of love to give—and a big personality—Brandy might just be your perfect match. If you are interested in adopting please complete our online application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=lv2236&method=online_form_html&formid=43Adoption Fee is $100.00All kittens are fully vetted prior to being adopted, FVRCP, FeLV and Rabies Vaccines, FeLV / FIV Tested, Spayed / Neutered and Microchipped.

Story
This petite, beautiful calico mama is as sweet as they come. Brought in as a stray with a litter of two, she has spent much of her life caring for her kittens and is now ready to be pampered and given the love she deserves. She’s missing a bottom canine, which means her tiny tongue sometimes peeks out—an irresistibly adorable quirk. Mandalay has the softest fur and a gentle nature. She loves being where the people are, and she gets along well with other cats, calm dogs, and children. She is very tolerant and even managed to receive a bath without any scratching or biting! With her affectionate spirit and endearing personality, she’s ready to be a cherished part of her forever family.Mandalay is Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) positive, which is a bloodborne viral infection that affects cats, weakening their immune system over time. Similar to HIV in humans, FIV targets and destroys white blood cells, which are crucial to fighting off common diseases and illnesses. This makes cats with FIV more susceptible to various illnesses, infections, and health complications. Common bacteria, viruses, protozoa, and fungi found in the everyday environment can pose severe threats to FIV + cats.Although FIV can significantly impact a cat’s health, many cats with the virus can live long and healthy lives with the right care, such as regular vet visits, a nutritious diet, and protection from stress and other infections. How Does FIV Spread?FIV spreads among cats primarily through deep bite wounds, such as those inflicted during aggressive fights, where saliva containing the virus is introduced into the bloodstream. It is very unlikely for FIV to spread through play fighting, as the bites need to be severe enough to penetrate deeply. Unlike other contagious diseases, FIV cannot be transmitted through sharing food and water bowls, or through grooming and casual contact between cats; it requires a deep bite wound for transmission. If you are interested in adopting please complete our online application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=lv2236&method=online_form_html&formid=43Adoption Fee is $100.00All kittens are fully vetted prior to being adopted, FVRCP, FeLV and Rabies Vaccines, FeLV / FIV Tested, Spayed / Neutered and Microchipped

Story
Peaches is her name, but as far as she’s concerned it’s Mammas. I’ve called her that as long as I’ve had her, so she answers to it and seems to be comforted by it when I say it. She’s a special lady who came to me as a mom of 5. I’ve had her a few months. Her babies were all adopted and she was a fantastic mama, but is very skittish. It’s taken time, but she’s gotten better with approaching me for love and her favorites is neck skritches. She will push her head right down into the scratch. She does not like to be picked up and would probably do best as an only animal if the house, although she does well with another young cat that is with her right now. She is still skittish and will run when I stand up move around (but has been getting better). She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She’s never bitten or swiped. I just think she’s not sure how to be loved. She does make a lot of sounds. I’ve never heard her meow lol, but she will chirp and make small noises that are super hard to explain, but adorable.
