Story
Chip was on the euthanasia list in NYC when she caught our eye. We couldn't let her be put to sleep in an overcrowded shelter for no good reason. So we took she and her 14 closest friends in. Chip is very calm and sweet. She loves to spend her days on a soft bed or lap just taking in the sights. She is a great eater, player, and snuggler. She'd do find in a home with cats, dogs, and/or children, or just in a home as an only kitty. She is truly a perfect girl. She is about 6 months old, spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV and ready for her forever home. Please apply at hermioneshome.com under "adopt" to meet her.

Story
The candy kitten crew is a crew of 4 who we are hoping will go home in pairs. Gumball, GummyBear, and Jellybean are brothers. Toffee (white & grey) is their adoptive brother. They were all found together in NYC. They were brought to a high kill shelter where they were placed on the euthanasia list due to over crowding. Ever since they came to us they have been nothing but fun and sweetness. They LOVE each other. They love to chase each other around and wrestle and then snuggle up for a good nap. Please consider adopting these sweet boys! 5 months old (toffee is 6 months old). Neutered, vaccinated, FeLV/FIV negative. apply at hermioneshome.com under "adopt"

Story
Our barn cat program is for our cats that take part in the TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program but can't be returned to their communities because of danger or lack of care. These are our less social cats that don't crave the company of people, at least at this point in their lives. These cats are peaceful, easy to care for, and make friends easily with other farm animals. Pictured is our lovely Chula who was adopted as a mouser for the family chicken coop. The family followed the relocation instructions and Chula became queen of the land! Like Chula, many families that have adopted a barn cat report that the cats have become friendly over time and bonded with the other animals as well has the people. Most often, the cats are delivered in pairs by our volunteer that settle the cats in and provide instructions for you to follow. All agree that it is very rewarding to give a home and freedom to a less fortunate cat who just by chance was born without a human hand. Please fill out our application from our website and call 860-479-5173. Thank you!

Story
Rehoming bonded pair. This is Bean (orange and white) and Munchkin (gray black and white). Both are boys. Our landlord is selling the house where we currently live and we are forced to move and can’t take them with us. They are really great cats and this is a sad decision to have to make. They are around 3-4 years old. Munchkin is fixed. Bean is not. They are a bonded pair so ideally I would want them to stay together if possible. Message me for more details.
