Annie was found in an apt complex, we suspect she was left behind as owners could not be located. She is 1-2 yrs old and weighs around 10lbs. Story

Our barn cat program is for our cats that take part in the TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program but can't be returned to their communities because of danger or lack of care. These are our less social cats that don't crave the company of people, at least at this point in their lives. These cats are peaceful, easy to care for, and make friends easily with other farm animals. Pictured is our lovely Chula who was adopted as a mouser for the family chicken coop. The family followed the relocation instructions and Chula became queen of the land! Like Chula, many families that have adopted a barn cat report that the cats have become friendly over time and bonded with the other animals as well has the people. Most often, the cats are delivered in pairs by our volunteer that settle the cats in and provide instructions for you to follow. All agree that it is very rewarding to give a home and freedom to a less fortunate cat who just by chance was born without a human hand. Justice is an adorable little guy. He is very outgoing and confident; affectionate and sweet. He purred through his vet visit and made an impression on our veterinarian. Justice in doing a great job socializing the scared kittens that come in this time of year. He welcomes them. He makes them feel safe and teaches them to play. He walks with them leaning against them to comfort them. He is now 16 weeks old. He can be paired up with his sister Freedom or any other kittens such as our sweet, shy kitten Larry. He will easily adjust to any home. Justice is fully vetted. He's had his distemper plus two boosters, rabies shot and neutered. All at the low price of $250. Freedom is a stunning 16 week old Maine Coon mix. Now that her very outgoing sisters have gone home, we can really see the sweetness and beauty of her personality. Freedom is sensitive and sweet. She loves to nurture the scared kittens such as Larry. She saw that Larry was nervous at our showing so she laid next to him and put her paws on him. A sweetheart! She can be paired with her brother Justice or our adorable scared kittens Larry if you do not have other pets. Freedom is fully vetted. Mona Lisa is our gorgeous, young mama cat. She came to us with six kittens. She also nurtured some kittens that were not hers. Mona is a love! She is affectionate, happy, grateful and she loves attention. Mona is always right there with her foster mom and dad. She also made friends easily their two cats , Bear and Fiona. She even charmed Fiona who is not nice to any cats. Mona occasionally does the 'test swatting' where she will slap you to see if she can trust you. Those are becoming more rare though as her survival guard is down and she is enjoying life without a care. She's really a wonderful girl and a little gem.
