Story
This little guys name is Theo. I got him less than a year ago off of a farm that was losing cats left and right and only had two who had survived and they wanted them safe. I kept him in my home thinking he could make a new addition however him and my other cat dont get along and it doesnt seem to be improving; actually the opposite(not his fault) He is a little bit of a trouble maker; he likes getting into cupboards and getting his own food. He is very active and absolutely loves affection. He is very silly and is definitely the life of the party when I have guests over. It honestly very heartbreaking to have to find him a new home, but with my other cat likely needing to be the only cat, it feels wrong to keep him when he could thrive so much better in someone elses home and care. I think he would do wonderful with other cats in the home, my cat just unfortunately does not do well with him. He loves fetch, playing “soccer” and his ball pit.

Story
Tookins is SUCH a sweet and loving girl! She's been friendly and social since the moment I brought her home. She likes to lay on me on the couch and sleeps next to me in bed. Also, she often touches my face so sweetly with her paw and it melts my heart. Tookins has beautiful, unique markings and very soft fur. She also does well riding in the car in a kennel. Tookins plays with toys a bit. One of her favorites is the round track with the ball and the scratching mat inside. She's also been a hoot to watch as she bats around a strip of fleece or a small stuffed mouse. Lately she's been getting the zoomies from time to time which is also pretty fun to watch! She has done well with the small dogs in the house. They don't snuggle or play much, but they're all very comfortable around each other. I also had a very shy foster kitten for a couple weeks at the start. The kitten loved Tookins, but it took her much of the time to warm up to the kitten. She preferred to roam the house with the dogs, although towards the end I'd find her laying on the futon next to the catio (where the kitten was). Tookins is carrying some extra weight, so I'm careful about measuring her food and avoiding extra treats. Our vet team also found that she has a heart murmur and some slightly abnormally-formed kidneys. Luckily both issues are very mild at the moment and not causing any problems or needing medication. However, her kidneys may put her at a higher risk for developing early renal disease. She'll need bloodwork and a urinalysis done every 6 months to monitor her kidneys so any changes can be caught and addressed right away. She'll also need yearly echocardiograms to monitor her heart, and again catch any issues early on. We understand that not all families will feel comfortable committing to these regular tests for the duration of her life, and that's ok. I know there's a perfect family out there for her that will, and I'm happy to keep loving on her till we find them. She's only two years old and deserves the best chance we can give her at a long and healthy life! Tookins- has 2 congenital abnormalities to make sure are noted. -Mild tricuspid valve insufficiency -Mild renal dysplasia She does not need any medications or special diets at this time. She should have her heart echoed again in 1 year, and possibly yearly after that. She should also have her kidney values and a urine checked every 6 months to monitor her kidneys as she is at risk for developing renal disease with her kidneys being abnormal.

Story
We call her "Lil Cat" because she is petite and never left the kitten stage! She has been around our other cat (Big Cat) her whole life and they get along well. She is shy at first. Once she gets comfortable, she craves human affection. She can't get enough belly rubs and pets. She is a total lap kitty and a wonderful companion. She would be fine with older children, but she is very afraid of our toddlers who were a bit too much for her. She does well in a calmer household where she gets most of the attention. She is 15 years old but you would never know it, she is a kitten at heart. The last few years have been hard on her with our 3 small children. She developed anxiety which led to her peeing outside of her box. That issue is under control only if she is separated from the kids. She also has some kidney issues that are managed with special food. We are heartbroken to give her up, but her quality of life would improve with more lap time & belly rubs and no small children.
