Story

Charlie came to us as a stray living in our back yard, someone just dumped her and she picked our yard, we called her scardycat for months because she always ran away when she saw us, then one day she came out from under our deck and wanted attention. From our best guess Charlie is roughly 2 years old. We decided to try to make her a part of our family but have learned that she is probably meant to be alone. We have learned that Charlie is deaf but also very vocal. She startles if she doesn't see you coming towards her, and is ready to fight if she feels she is being attacked. She still wishes to go outside (though not often)to releive herself but does use the litter box when inside. As of now she is up to date on shots, but I lost my job in March and am finding that I can't afford to continue paying insurance, vet fees and daily providing for her.

Voodoo found his way to our doorstep a few years ago, brought him in and he’s been with us since. He’s a good cat, very cuddly, loves being with his people.

I received Kanna (kaw-nuh) from my sister who got her as a kitten for her child who was wanting a cat. She came to realize that Kanna was nervous around children and often hid most of the time. That's when I decided to adopt her about 12 years ago. She's a very quiet well behaved cat who mostly keeps to herself, but will usually ask for cuddles and pets once a day, maybe twice. She has lived with other cats in the past and she will tolerate them, but she does best without other pets in the house. She is afraid of dogs and will hide if one is nearby. She would do well with older children who can be calm, quiet, and gentle, but she will be skiddish around small children. She loves sunlight and warm spots. She likes pate and dry food. She has not been declawed so we keep scratching posts in the house for her. She will be hesitant to strangers at first but with time and developing trust she will become very cuddly and affectionate.

Mazie is 6 years old & very friendly. She is bonded with her sister, Abby - who is 3 years old. I would LOVE for them to be able to be together...but if they have to be separated, then it's ok.She is not fixed but has had the same owner since being a kitten. She doesn't have any medical issues. She does well with her sister - but she has never been around other cats, I have no idea how she is with them. She also does not have much experience with kids - she was around my son when he was younger, but not constantly...so, I'm not sure about that.I am only rehoming her & her sister because my mom passed away in April & now my stepdad has been admitted into a memory care/hospice. I am highly allergic to cats & unfortunately, cannot keep them. I am open to negotiating the adoption fee - I just want a GOOD, safe home for her & her sister.

Story

Slinky came to us as a stray when we moved to our new house. He is very sweet and a good cat, but we unfortunately do not have the time to properly integrate him into our home as we have two other bonded cats already. We are unsure if he would eventually be able to get along with other cats if someone with experience is able to take him in. He is very energetic and smart so he needs a home that can give him a lot of time and attention. He has never been aggressive, but does get play aggression when he gets energetic, so someone who knows how to train a cat or can handle a very playful cat is preferable. He is very snuggly and loves to lay in my lap when sleepy. Since we have taken him in, we have gotten him neutered, vaccinated, and chipped. The vet believes he is 1 or 2 years old.
