Story

Our sweet 9-year-old cat is looking for a home where she can get the attention and enrichment she thrives on. She is affectionate, cuddly, loves people, and is an excellent mouser. Her favorite place is outdoors, where she enjoys exploring and lounging, so we think she’d especially love a home with safe outdoor access or even a farm. She has a history of occasional litter box accidents, almost always during the winter when she’s indoors much more. We’ve worked closely with our veterinarian, and medical causes have been ruled out. From our experience, this appears to be behavioral and related to stress, boredom, or not getting enough play and one-on-one attention. We truly believe she would do best in a quieter home where she can be a priority. With a baby arriving this winter, we can no longer provide the environment she deserves. This decision is heartbreaking, and our hope is to find someone who can give her the time, play, and love she needs to thrive.

Mittens is a 3 year old domestic munchkin mutt that I inherited from my sister after she moved south, she's an extremely shy and skittish cat and just about the closest example you'll find that meets the criteria of "scaredy cat." She's very quiet, very well mannered, but absolutely demands a quiet and non-chaotic residence, she's prone to hiding from loud noises, but performs fine with other cats in the household who are relaxed and well behaved, I often find her cuddling up next to my cats on the couch during the night. I would love to keep her however I know I cannot reasonably keep her healthy with her skittish nature, she will neglect eating and water if she's overly scared and will only come out once it's quieted down, so if you have many hiding places she will absolutely find them - but overall she's a sweetheart just scared of the world and needs someone who can provide a quiet, cozy environment she can be happy in.

Pru is a super sweet lady, adopted from a shelter in February. She is very affectionate and loves to sit on your lap or sleep on your pillow all night. She's good with small children. Totally wonderful personality.Rehoming her mainly due to allergies. Pru does best with multiple litter boxes. She does best on a sensitive-stomach diet. I am hoping to find a loving family for her who can give her all the attention and love.

Hey everyone,This is Saki (short for Kawasaki). She is a two year old longer haired tabby. We first got her when she was only a few weeks old. She is a very sweet cat that isn't always the MOST cuddly but when she wants love she makes sure to let you know! Saki grew up with another cat (younger) and they love playing together all day long, she's a huge fan of scratching posts and hiding in just about anything she can fit in. I unfortunately have to find her a new home due to leaving for the Air Force at the end of July.
