Story
I’m July, a brown tabby female kitten with a big heart and an even bigger appetite for adventure. I came to Animal Ark after being found all alone and hungry in the parking lot of a retail establishment. I`m settling into shelter life and very thankful for regular meals, warm blankets and the soft, caring voices of staff. I’m playful, curious, and full of that classic kitten energy that keeps life fun. Because I’m still learning my kitten manners, I must be adopted with a kitten buddy or join a home with a playful resident cat who can help guide me as I grow. I also cannot be adopted into a home with children under five years old. If your family is ready for endless entertainment, joyful chaos, and the unconditional love of a kitten (or two), stop at the shelter and introduce yourself!

Story
Hi, I’m Dottie — a four-month-old brown and white tabby girl with a gentle heart and a shy little spirit that blossoms with kindness. I came to the rescue with my siblings Gracie, Athena, and our brother, after we were found in a small trailer park doing our best to stay safe together. We didn’t have much, but we had each other, and that helped us stay brave until help arrived. Now we’re living in a foster home, and every day I grow a little more confident. I’m shy at first, but once I feel safe, I’m friendly, sweet, and full of quiet affection. I love watching the world from a cozy spot, learning new things at my own pace, and leaning into gentle pets when I’m ready. My foster family says I have a soft, tender soul — the kind of kitten who forms deep bonds once she trusts you.If you would like to meet me and my siblings, please submit an adoption application. We’re ready to leave our past behind and find families who will love us for exactly who we are.

Story
Hi, I’m a four-month-old brown and white tabby boy, and my story begins in a small trailer park where my sisters — Gracie, Dottie, and Athena — and I were doing our best to grow up without much safety or comfort. We stayed close to one another, hoping someone kind would notice us. When help finally arrived, our whole world changed. Now we’re living in a foster home, and every day feels like a gift. I’ve learned that people can be gentle, warm, and full of love. I follow my foster humans from room to room, always hoping for a soft word or a scratch behind the ears. I’m friendly, affectionate, and happiest when I’m near someone who cares. Even though my beginning was uncertain, my heart is wide open — I’m ready to trust, ready to bond, and ready to belong.

Story
*** Currently in a foster home. Meet & Greet will be arranged with an approved adoption application. ****** Bonded Pair--I must be adopted with my sibling Prince Charming ***I’m Boo — a tiny orange tabby female kitten with a big story for someone so small. A kind woman found me and my three siblings after our mom passed away, and at just 2–3 weeks old, we were brought to Animal Ark for the chance we almost didn’t get. We all went into foster care for the extra TLC that fragile babies like us need. I’ve shown my foster family what a determined little spirit I am. I’ve made astonishing progress. Today, I’m playful, energetic, and full of the kind of mischief that makes people laugh even on their hardest days. I`m strongly bonded with my brother Prince Charming, and we must go home together. Our foster says that we wrestle with each other, groom each other, and sleep in a tiny kitten pile. We don`t care for the neighbor dogs, so a home without dogs is our preference. We are both very affectionate, outgoing, snuggly and playful. We can’t go to a home with children under five. If my journey — from loss, to rescue, to resilience — tugs at your heart, submit an adoption application to meet us. We`re ready for the next chapter, and we hope it’s with someone who sees the little survivors we`ve become.

Story
I’m Everest — a soft brown tabby with gentle eyes and a heart that’s been waiting a long time to feel safe again. I’m about four years old, though the truth is, life outside made time feel a little blurry. A kind woman found me wandering and gave me shelter in her garage for two whole months. She fed me, spoke softly to me, and reminded me what kindness feels like. She called me shy, playful, and quiet — and she wasn’t wrong. No one really knows what my life was like before that. Whether I lived with children, dogs, or other cats is a bit of a mystery, even to me. But the staff at Animal Ark have learned who I am now: a gentle soul who doesn’t ask for much, just a calm voice, a soft hand, and a little patience. When someone talks to me, I can’t help but come closer. I lean into their touch. I remember what it feels like to belong. My time outdoors left its mark — I lost the tips of both ears to the cold. But now they give me a sweet, quirky look, almost like I’m wearing a tiny cap. People smile when they see me, and I like that. I think I’d thrive best in a quiet adult home, where I can feel safe and unhurried. Older children who understand boundaries would be just fine. I don’t need a busy household or other animals around me — just someone who wants a loyal, peaceful companion. If your heart is looking for a soft, steady presence — a cat who will return your affection with quiet, unwavering love — come meet me. I’ve been waiting for someone like you.

Story
I’m Pandora, a 1 1/2-year-old dilute torti girl with a soft heart and an even softer purr. I arrived at Animal Ark with six of my feline friends after our owner suddenly found themselves with more animals than they could care for. It’s been a big change, and I’m still finding my footing, but every day I’m learning that this new chapter comes with kindness: warm meals, cozy beds, and gentle voices reminding me I’m safe. My previous owner described me as shy and quiet. My favorite toy in my temporary foster home was a three-tier ball track toy. I’ve done well around other cats, though I haven’t met dogs or young children yet. Because of my sensitive nature, a calm home with older kids would help me feel most secure. If you’re thinking about adopting a pair, I’d be thrilled to go home with one of my friends — Riley, River, Roger, Patience, Arlo, or Pearl. If your family is ready for a new adventure — one filled with quiet companionship, gentle affection, and the joy of helping a sweet girl blossom — come meet me at Animal Ark. I’m waiting for someone who sees the potential in a tender soul like me.
