I am Mona an active, loving 17-year-old grey tabby female. Even though I enjoy sitting in your lap and being snuggled and pet, I also like to run and chase toy balls and toy mice. If you dangle one of those toys on a stick, I will jump up, just like a young kitty would! I am a vocal gal who enjoys a good conversation, and I have a wonderful purr motor to let you know how happy I am. I would prefer to be the only cat in the house and not live with canines.. Let me introduce myself--I`m Kennedy, a domestic short-haired cat with dilute calico markings, estimated at about four years of age. No surprise that I`m a female--we calicos are almost always girls! When I turned up in a neighborhood and appeared to be without a home, a compassionate individual made sure I got to Animal Ark and out of harm`s way. Now I`m getting lots of good food, attention and affection from the staff and volunteers, and I`m hoping to find a home where I can relax and enjoy life. I can`t go to a home with other felines. My history with dogs is unknown. I do have kidney disease, but don`t let that scare you - I`m on a special diet and doing well! I just need someone who`s willing to help me stay healthy and loved. We were alone, without our mom, and clearly in need of a safe haven. Thankfully, a kind-hearted man helped us find our way to Animal Ark once space opened up, and life has been cozy ever since! A kind person took care of us after she found us without food or shelter in her neighborhood. We came to Animal Ark as soon as space opened up, and we`ve been learning how wonderful it is to have regular meals and a roof over our heads. I`m a buff-colored tabby male and can`t go to a home with children under the age of five years old. I`m bonded with my sister Zazu, and we must go home together. We are both still a little shy and would do best in a quiet home without dogs.
