This cat's owner passed away so we were asked to Foster the cat until a new owner was found. We have had the cat for about 4 months and I am just not a cat person. Not used to having a cat that does whatever it wants. I don't like that it jumps on the counters and goes on my bed. We need to find a loving home for this cat he is really good really mellow chill cat. He would make a really good cat for somebody that loves cats. He's well-behaved. He likes to go outside for a while and then he comes back. He is super sweet and he doesn't not run around and make noise at night he just sleeps. We think he's about 8 years old.

Meet Geri! Geri is a delightful one-of-a-kind calico with a mix of playful energy and calm charm. He has a great balance of active and chill energy. After a good play session, he’s happy to settle into a comfy cat bed for some well-earned rest, preferably somewhere close to the action. He tolerates other cats well and would likely do fine with a respectful dog, though he hasn’t met one while in rescue. Wayne is a mellow, gentle orange boy with a quiet soul and a soft spot for cozy spaces. An adult male with a calm, independent nature, Wayne prefers a peaceful environment where he can relax and observe the world at his own pace. Rescued from outdoor life alongside his brother Wilson, Wayne has blossomed into a sweet, reserved companion who truly enjoys lounging—especially curled up with his feline brother or tucked away in his favorite underneath hidey spots. Wayne is great with other cats and must have another feline companion (especially important around young kittens). He has not met dogs while in rescue, so his comfort level with them is unknown. Because of his shy demeanor, Wayne would do best in a quiet home with older, cat-savvy children who understand and respect boundaries. A true low-energy couch potato, Wayne prefers minimal handling. He’s perfectly fine being picked up when needed, but he doesn’t require constant attention and is happiest when allowed to come to you on his terms. He is fully litter trained and very easygoing. Wayne is FIV positive — which simply means his immune system is a little weaker than average. With a healthy diet, regular vet care, and a stress-free indoor life, FIV+ cats can live just as long and happy as any other kitty. FIV spreads only through deep bite wounds, not through playing, sharing food or water, grooming, or snuggling — so he can safely live with other friendly cats. This handsome long-haired black boy recently had to be shaved due to severe matting, and he’s currently rocking an adorable little lion look—but don’t worry, his luxurious coat will grow back in no time. Luggage can be shy at first, preferring to observe his surroundings and take things in at his own pace. Once he feels safe, his relaxed and steady nature really shines. He enjoys a nice balance of activity and downtime, happily batting at catnip toys one moment and napping in a sunny, cozy bed the next. He’s fully litter trained and doesn’t mind being picked up, though he’s also perfectly content doing his own thing nearby. He gets along wonderfully with other cats and would especially love to be adopted alongside his friend, Baggage Claim. He hasn’t met dogs or kids in rescue, but his calm temperament suggests he’d likely adjust well with proper introductions.
