I adopted Mihi from the Humane Society in October 2023. Soon after, I started a new job that requires time and attention to the extent that I am no longer able to give Mihi the time and attention he needs. I'm hoping to find a good home for him.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee: $150 Lydia is a beautiful, petite, long hair brunette.  Like her namesake she is, herself, strange and usual.  She enjoys her indoor life, she is good with other cats, and she wants nothing to do with her human guardians.  If you can catch her you can pet her, and she will purr and enjoy the affection- but she will avoid you if at all possible.  Like we said- weirdo.  Her favorite thing in the world is to sit in a box and watch the world.  Her second favorite thing is being brushed and get treats.  But because she is Lydia Deetz, she will not seek out her second favorite thing--- her human has dig her out of a box to go give it to her.   She shows her appreciation for the food and shelter by not bothering you and being very pretty. Meet Sky. Sky came into rescue after being found roaming by a good Samaritan. Most kitties have their quirks, so with that being said, Sky needs to be the only girl in your life. She can get accustomed to pups, but overall prefers to be alone. She doesn't like other kitties but has plenty of personality for you to love! She loves sunbathing on the couch, watching the birds out the window and is obsessed with her Catnip toys.  Sky I think would do best in an empty nester home or an elderly couple (or single) home where she just gets constant love and attention. Sky is only around 2-ish years old, sweet, vocal, affectionate and is ready for her purrfect home.   Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper (PCR) vaccines appropriate to age, Feline leukemia/FIV/HW test, heartworm, ear mite and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. He will do best in a home with kitty friend in his forever home.  He enjoys toys and treats.
