Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi!  My name is Roo (DOB: 4/1/2016) but my foster mom calls me Louie because I like it so much more!  You know that song, "Louie Louie" by the Kingsmen, me and foster mom love listening to that song together!  She even sings it to me too but don't tell her that she doesn't have the best singing voice!  But that doesn't matter to me, I just love spending time with my human.  It is absolutely my favorite thing in the entire world, second is definitely making biscuits, and third is watching the cool world outside.  I'm just once of those guys that always has a positive outlook on everything no matter the situation.  I'm a pretty chill dude that would much rather lounge around then spending a ton of time chasing toys or feature wands.  Every once in a while the mood with of course strick but ultimately giving loving head boops is way better.  I can also be chatty sometimes but mainly only when I have something really important to say, like, "hey foster mom, this bowl needs some food!"  I get along just fine with other mellow dogs and cats as long as you give me enough time to adjust, new places and things can be overwhelming so I just need time to settle in.  I mean ultimately foster mom says I am absolutely amazing and one of the sweetest kitties she has ever met.  That is some high praise if I do say so myself! And while I am this absolutely amazing boy, I sure have been through a lot in my short life.  When I was born, my right ulna didn't develop which has left me with a slightly crooked arm.  It doesn't hurt at all but it does make it harder for me to get around quickly.  And for that reason, I was actually hit by a car when I was just a baby.  Luckily I am very tough though and survived with a slightly misaligned jaw and some other cracks and bruises that have since healed up.  Because of my jaw I do need help with grooming sometimes to keep my coat nice and pretty.  I sure am glad Wags and Whiskers took me in so I could find my furrever home someday.  I was doing very well for quite a while but started eventually having accidents outside of the litterbox.  We determined this was due to chronic pancreatitis.  So Wags went to work finding the best treatment possible for me.  Right now I take a daily prednisone to help keep the inflammation down, am on a prescription GI food to get me plenty of calories and to help my poops, as well as pumpkin puree daily for the added fiber.  This has all helped tremendously and I make it to the litterbox most of the time now (I'd say about 90% of the time).  That being said, I'm not perfect and my forever person will have to be accepting of my accidents and keep me on this strict regimen.  Having multiple litterboxes around the house definitely helps me as well.  I also prefer litterboxes with soft towels in them when I need to urinate as well because it is easier on my paws.  I am a creature that prefers comfort, can you honestly blame me.  I definitely have very specific needs but I know the right person is out their for me.  If you are ready to open your heart and home to a special needs kitty, I'd love to meet you.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.I am Juicy Lucy, a true rescue miracle. I was found living on the street outside a well-known Minneapolis hamburger establishment (hence my name), with a life-threatening condition. A kind rescuer and an emergency vet saved my life and discovered I had kittens on board. Wags and Whiskers took me in and a month later I brought 7 healthy kittens into the world. I raised my babies and am now in good health, looking forward to living my dream as a loved house cat. I’m super affectionate and prefer to stay close to my people. I even like being picked up and snuggled in just the right way. My fur is medium-long, with a beautiful fluffy tail. Oh, and my purr motor is dynamo! My personality is pretty mellow and I’m a good girl about using the litter box. Because I’ve had to fend for myself so much, I can be territorial around other animals and small children and should be in a home where I am the only pet and with older kids or adults.   Could you be my perfect match?Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal? You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Moria is a sweetie who loves to come up to you for cuddles and scratches. She loves to play with Rose (Her kitten) or just by herself. She is a very vocal cat and loves to call out to her foster mom when they are not in the same room. She would do well with other cats but unknown with dogs. She would do ok with children as well. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. I'm a very sweet, playful girl who is looking for my furever home! My estimated DOB is 6/28/23. I adore pets and being near my human at all times. I was shy with my foster family at first, but after a few days they found out that I have a huge personality, love to socialize, and am quite chatty. My favorite thing to do is play! I can jump pretty high and I chase just about anything. When I'm not playing, I like to sit in the window or relax on the couch with you (or wherever you are). I love cuddling under the blanket with you and am learning how to sit on laps. I get along with other cats and I'd likely prefer a house with another cat buddy, but if you don't have one I'll make it work as long as you play with me plenty. I'd get along with a gentle, calm dog, too (I've met one!). I'm very play and food motivated, and I've been told I am well-behaved/non-destructive for a kitten. I've never had issues with using the litter box either! I would love to be your best friend. Come meet me!. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, I’m Chester! I’m an energetic and friendly kitten, born January 25, 2024. I love being where the action is, playing with toys, and chasing my mom Hilda and brother Hank. When I get sleepy, I’ll seek out a family member (cat or human) to snuggle with, or sometimes I like to burrow under blankets for an extra cozy cat nap! I love to eat but am still learning that not everything is food (what can I say, biting paper is so satisfying!). I’m great with the litterbox and I love to make the “stank face” when I smell something bad. I’m pretty easy going so I think I’d fit in well anywhere as long as there was another cat friend – being alone is boring! Submit an application, I’d love to meet you! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, I’m Hank! I’m an energetic and friendly kitten born January 25, 2024. I love running and playing, and when a toy on a string appears you should see the acrobatics I will go through to get it! I am very friendly and curious and just a little mischievous. I like snuggling my cat family or a human when it’s time to sleep. But as soon as I’m awake, it’s back to wrestling with my brother, hunting toys, and running as fast as I can! I’d love to have a cat friend in my new home to play with me. (Psst! Check out my brother Chester and my mom Hilda, they are both up for adoption too!) I’m great with the litterbox and very healthy. Please submit an application so I can meet you! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal?
