Story

Flick came to Cause for Paws on 1/2/2026. He was 7 months at the time. He had an injury on his foot that we tried to treat with medication and also a broken bone on that foot. The wound was not responding to the medication so the only other option was to remove the leg. While he only has 3 legs you would hardly know it!! He is a lap cat and loves hanging around you when you are sitting on the couch. Flick is a very sweet cat. He has met other adult cats but hasn't found the right match. He likes to play rough which does not go over very well with some of the other cats in his foster home. He has been around a dog and seems to do o.k. Flick probably would do o.k. in a home with a well-behaved dog. Flick would do well as an only cat or in a home with a kitten. He has very little mobility issues. Flick has no problem jumping up on the couch or bed, using stairs or getting on low scratching posts. He uses the litterbox without any issues. The only thing he does struggle with is high vertical cat towers without easy levels when jumping down. There are no children in his foster home so we do not know how he will do with children. Flick is an energetic boy and would be a wonderful addition to a home where he can get a lot of attention. Meet Tabitha. Tabitha is about 3 years old. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, felv/fiv tested negative. Tabitha is a little shy at first but once she is comfortable with her surroundings she is quite affectionate and a lap cat. She doesn't do well with other cats but does well with well mannered dogs. Tabitha is a very active and curious cat. She was adopted and returned because of her activity level. She will open kitchen cabinets to see what's inside. Story

Clementine is a lively 11 month old little girl. She came to Minnesota by the way of Honduras. She is very sweet and active. Clem as she is called, likes to toss around her toy that looks like a spring. She also likes her catnip mouse. Clem gets along with the other cats in her foster home. She even puts up with the hyper foster dog. Clem would be the perfect cat for a home by herself or with other animals. She is what we call a door washer so she cannot go to a home with children.Clem likes to sleep by her foster mom at bedtime or when it is quiet and her fister mom is watching t.v. She can be very entertaining and fun. Meet Archie! Archie is a big (15+ pounds), sweet boy with a "good soul" and a presence that instantly brightens up any room. When he isn't lounging gracefully on the sofa, he loves running around like a joyful little horse, playing hide-and-seek, and keeping your kitchen counters clear of leftover food. He is incredibly affectionate, quick to adapt to new places, and loves giving face licks and kitty kisses. While he enjoys playful wrestling, he is remarkably gentle with his human friends and careful never to scratch or bite too hard. Archie has the most wonderfully mellow temperament, but he’s strictly looking for a VIP (Very Important Pet) status as an only cat! He is entirely sweet-natured and never hisses or growls, but his play style is incredibly intense and high-energy. To keep everyone happy and comfortable, he needs a home without other cats who might find his enthusiastic playing games a bit too much to handle. However, because he is so laid-back, Archie may do well n a home with a dog of equal or greater size. He has been felv/fiv tested negative (twice), vaccinated, microchipped, and of course neutered. Meet Daisy. Daisy is about two years old, she has been felv/fiv tested (negative), spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Daisy was born under a porch to a feral cat. A good samaritan took in the young family. Daisy is an affectionate little girl who is good with dogs and most cats, although she can be bossy with some of the cats that she has met. She is a little shy at first but warms up quickly once she is used to her surroundings. Daisy was successfully treated for FIP last year and has had follow up blood work that shows she remains healthy.
