Story
Hi there, my name is Chip, and I have been waiting for this moment my entire life. I was one of the unfortunate dogs that didn’t start out with a family who cared and when I was eventually dumped in a rural area around New Braunfels Texas, I was in horrible shape. My skin was a wreck from fleas, neglect, and poor nutrition, my eyes were infected, my nails were a mile long, and I was in desperate need of a dental. I am a senior Chihuahua, about 10 years old, I weigh 12 lbs, and it's truly a miracle I’m alive. I owe it all to my foster mom who has been taking such wonderful care of me since the beginning of July when I was found.
These days I am feeling like a million bucks, still a low-energy sort of boy with a relaxed and easygoing personality and I guess you could call me a couch potato. I am friendly with people and other dogs, not sure I've met a kitty cat, but I don't really interact with the other dogs at my foster home and I am not into playing either. I am like a little old man, puttering around the house, walking through the backyard garden, smelling the flowers, watching TV, just taking it easy and enjoying life. My foster mom lets me do what I want and go where I want in her home because I am a very good dog. I rarely bark, I’m housebroken, I don't chew her shoes, or guard my food, and I don't have separation anxiety, or cause any problems at all. I’m easy. I don't mind going for walks and I don't mind rides in the car. Overall I am very chill, quiet, and calm, and I don't have a mean bone in my body. If you live in or near Connecticut and you have been looking for a very nice little dog to keep you company, you can stop looking, and I’ll see you next week!
