Story
Hello I have a loving husky named yeti. He is two years old and I adopted him from a humane society. I have had yeti for a year and a half but given the circumstances in our household it is best to find him a better suited home. I personally would like yeti to have a home with a big yard and maybe even another big dog so he can have a friend. He is very playful so if you have any dogs a big dog would be best for yeti rather than a small dog because he likes to play a bit rough. He is also very loving towards kids but he does like to jump on people so that’s something that needs worked on with him.

Story
Otto is an AMAZING dog! This good boy was found as a stray and never claimed, unfortunately that is all too common around here. Why no one was looking for Otto is absolutely beyond me. He happily greets every human he meets offering cuddles, kisses, and his booty for some scratches. He keeps his kennel so clean! Never accidents, even when left longer than normal between potty breaks. He LOVES treats and will show you all the tricks he knows when you pull put that treat bag. Sit, "Sit Pretty" ( although I haven't found the right word for him to do this when asked he does it on his own almost every time I get th treats out), Shake and "other paw" and lay down. Its clear Otto was well cared for and in a loving home at some point in his life and whomever owned him before set him up for success teaching him so many things. Otto has been so good with all the humans he has met even total strangers. He just wants attention and to play. He is going to make an amazing companion for someone! Story
Monkey is a happy playful silly pup just looking for a family to love. He needs training but he is a smart puppy and very treat motivated and people oriented so training will be easy. He does great with other dog-friendly dogs and cats. He loves kids but he may be a little overwhelming for some really tiny kiddos. He is crate trained and working on potty training. He loves toys and chewies. Please visit our website www.underdogsalvation.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
IvyDOB: 12/16/21Sex: FemaleWeight: mediumBreed: American Staffordshire terrierDate of Intake: 12/14/2022Ivy is a real good girl and she is crate trained but still has accidents in her crate, given she was an outside dog. It’s gonna take her some time and patience. Ivy loves to give hugs. She is thankful to be inside with people. Her energy level is medium, but she calms down quickly. Loves to get all the attention. She is treat motivated and she would learn quickly. She’s a really sweet girl and she loves squeaky toys and balls. She does like dogs not sure about cats.Ivy is a special and precious girl. She came to our shelter in mid December and she is just now becoming available. She has an internal medical issue with her female parts so we have been watching her closely and providing detailed care to help her heal until she was ready for her special family. Ivy will need a home where she can be a normal pup but maybe at a more relaxed level for a while while she continues to heal. She has had a vaginal drip since the day we brought her into the shelter. Her vaginal area is very irritated and for some reason will not heal. She has had exploratory surgery and many other tests but nothing has given us answers. The good news is that she has gotten better and the drip is very minimal. She is a unique case and no vet can pinpoint exactly what is wrong with her, however, she has survived the odds and we feel she is ready to be in a home and be loved. She will more than likely need medical attention for a while or life, so she will need someone who can reasonably provide for her financially. She is a little over a year old and we believe her to be a boston terrier mix? She is super sweet and loves all people and would more than likely be ok in a home with other pets.If you are interested in adopting this pet please visit www.blackfordcountyanimalshelter.com to complete our online adoption application.

Story
Banjo is a typical hound that loves to be out and about. He is an active dog but not over the top. He has done ok when meeting other dogs but he can get a little possessive when toys come into the equation because he wants them all to himself. He has interest in cats in that he will chase them if he has the chance. Do not think he wishes them harm, but timid cats would not like the attention he would give them! He is 3 years old and at 52 lbs he is the perfect size This handsome guy will be sure to charm you. He can toss a squeaker toy like no other and seems to occupy his time. If playful dogs are your thing then come meet this boy.If you are interested in adopting this pet please visit www.blackfordcountyanimalshelter.com to complete our online adoption application.

Story
Ziggy is a 63lb terrier that is estimated to be around 6 years old. He is a very loveable guy and can be the best boy. He is one of our happiest pups despite his current situation. He would greet everyone that comes to the shelter if given the chance! He is not a good fit for cats and can be a bit dog selective so he will need a meet and greet for families that have pets already. If you are interested in adopting this pet please visit www.blackfordcountyanimalshelter.com to complete our online adoption application.
