Story
Rex is a sweet black Lab mix who came to our shelter as an unclaimed stray, and he’s quickly won us over with his charm. This playful guy loves to run and enjoys just about any kind of toy you can give him. He’s also a smart pup with good manners and listens well, making him a joy to spend time with. Rex has done well when interacting with some of our more social dogs, so with the right introduction, he could be a great companion for another friendly pup. Rex is ready to find a loving home where he can play, learn, and shine as the wonderful dog he is!

Story
I got Ollie through a friend a while back that had a dog that had puppies. It was kind of a quick and spontaneous decision, but I always grew up with a dog and didn’t have one of my own so I said I would take one. Ever since I got her she’s been a little more than any of the other dogs I’ve had as a kid. She’s very high energy and still young so she still has some things to learn, but she is a very good girl. She is house trained and for the most part good with other animals and kids. She will struggle at first since she would be in a new environment, but I believe over time she would come around. She knows multiple commands like sit, lay down, no bark, shake (with both paws), and wait. I love her very much and don’t want to get rid of her, but I’m just not ready for a dog yet, especially one that needs the attention and exercise she needs. I want her to have a good home, she deserves it.
