Story
I got Sam early this year. He was abused and abandoned, so I took him in. He is about 11 months old. He's very energetic and playful, pretty shy around new people but he blossoms anywhere. Im having issues with my apartment. I currently have no heat, water and my power cut off a little bit ago. This is no place for him to be, it's not safe and he can't thrive here. I have to move myself, but I can't guarantee that I can find a place that's better than this for him, so he needs to find a good forever home. No cost as long as he can be picked up. I don't have transport.

Beezus is shy but sweet and playful pup, who came in with her sister, Ramona. She’s got a gentle heart, a curious spirit, and loves running around outside and wrestling with friends. Like any puppy, she’s still learning the ropes and will need some training, but she’s eager to please and will thrive with a little patience and love. Beezus is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped. If you’re looking for a lovable puppy with a big heart—and maybe even thinking about adopting a pair—Beezus would make a wonderful addition to your home!

Story
Rex is a sweet black Lab mix who came to our shelter as an unclaimed stray, and he’s quickly won us over with his charm. This playful guy loves to run and enjoys just about any kind of toy you can give him. He’s also a smart pup with good manners and listens well, making him a joy to spend time with. Rex has done well when interacting with some of our more social dogs, so with the right introduction, he could be a great companion for another friendly pup. Rex is ready to find a loving home where he can play, learn, and shine as the wonderful dog he is!

Story
I got Ranger from my local animal rescue league, he is 7 months old and he is all puppy, hyper, wants to play, and chew on everything. He's good with other dogs and cats, he is just a little rough for my two year old so would probably do better in a home with older kids to run around with. He is almost potty trained and he can sit. He is really super sweet and is gonna make someone that can give him the right training and time a really good boy

Moose

Great Dane

Marshalltown, IA
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet Moose, a 5-year-old Harlequin Great Dane with a heart (and bark!) as big as he is. When Moose arrived, he was living in rough conditions and weighed just 85 pounds — far below the healthy 120-150 pounds a Dane should be. With good care, love, and groceries, he’s been steadily gaining strength and confidence. Moose is a big dog with a big personality. He’s vocal and expressive, never shy about letting you know when it’s time for dinner or play. Beneath that deep bark is a gentle giant who loves rough-and-tumble play, tug-of-war, and quality time with his favorite people. Moose is looking for an experienced large-breed owner who understands the full “big dog package.” His adoption fee covers his vaccines, neuter, microchip, and health testing. If you’re ready for a loyal companion with plenty of love (and volume) to give — Moose is your guy.

Story
Jack came to us as a stray who sadly went unclaimed, but he hasn’t let that dim his cheerful spirit. This small-statured mixed breed is full of heart and charm, with a love for people that shines the moment you meet him. Jack adores belly rubs, fetch, enjoys being near his favorite humans, and has a happy-go-lucky attitude that’s impossible not to love. He’s still new to the shelter, so we’re getting to know him a little more each day—but one thing is certain: Jack is eager to please and ready to learn. He’ll thrive in a home that can offer patience, consistency, and the gentle guidance he needs to become the best dog he can be. With the right match, Jack is sure to blossom into a loyal, loving companion who’ll bring joy to every day.
