Trudy is a great dog. Very well behaved, but just needs a more active home. Very house broken no matter how long left alone within reason. Loves kids. Don’t have any records for Trudy. She does shed and has longer fine hair.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. We rescued this senior boy from Nashville Animal Control in 2-2022.  The lady that offered to foster him for us is the person that found him homeless in Nashville, looking for food.  He came to us intact, heartworm positive and in pretty rough shape.  He has been neutered, brought back to good health and has been treated for heartworms.  He is ready for his new forever home!  He loves people, loves to lie around on the couch or a comfy dog bed, is good with other dogs, good in the car, good on leash.  He is just a total love bug.  You really would not know it, but he is also deaf and blind in one eye, but neither slow him down.  He has a hound's nose!  He is not good with cats or chickens.  He has a couple of other little quirks, nothing big at all. He needs a good retirement home.  If you are interested, please complete our online application at https://goo.gl/dGoP1L Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 26, 2024, 4:01 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.About Jay Jay is a serious cuddler who likes to be near his people more than anything in the world. He is just as happy to lay at your feet while you eat as he is to lay in your lap while you watch a movie. He loves to look at your face to be sure you are happy and will wag his tail with every glance, word, and touch that comes his way. He wants to please his people, and will thrive in a home where he will be loved, hugged, kissed, and petted often. Jay is not overly energetic, liking long naps as well as occasional play sessions and long walks. He also likes a fenced-in yard, where he can wander around and watch the world. He doesn't chew on furniture, his bed, or other objects, but he does like to destroy stuffed and rubbery toys as quickly as possible! He is a dream on a leash, but, due to his traumatic history, he doesn't love to wear his harness all the time and may try to chew on it if left alone with it too long. His coat is thick and very wavy down his back and tail. He sheds an average amount, and is getting used to having his nails done with a grinder. Interactions with Other Animals He is excellent with other dogs and has experience being around livestock safely (though he is very interested in other animals, he doesn't bark or chase).  We are unsure how he will behave with cats. Given his curiosity and laser-focused attention, we would say no small animals for this one. Origin Story This sweet boy was rescued from Memphis, TN, animal control when he was scheduled to be euthanized.  He was in rough shape, with burns of some type on the back of both his ears. We suspect he was chained his entire life before being picked up by animal control.   Apply to Adopt To apply to adopt this charmer, fill out the adoption form here: https://goo.gl/dGoP1LVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 26, 2024, 4:01 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.About Eli Eli is a chill, gentle puppy who loves to cuddle up and just relax. He is excellent with other dogs and kids. He has a great attitude about life, bringing a sense of calm and sweet joy to everyone he meets.  He is a big puppy, so he will be a pretty big adult, too. Interactions with Other Animals He is a great, big teddy bear with other dogs. He shows no inclination to chase small critters, so would probably do well with other animals as well, but, he is a large dog, so we recommend testing things out first. Origin Story This puppy and his five siblings were the product of a surprise litter. The owners are housing them as we try to find their forever homes, but it is hard on them to have this many large babies at once. His mother looks to be a boxer mix and dad appears to be a lab mix - this is just our best guess! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.About Daniel Daniel is a big, sweet puppy who loves to lay around and would like to be in a home where he is the only dog. He would thrive with someone who will be patient and kind, showing him how they want him to behave and respond, as he is a little unsure of his place in the world.  He is a big puppy, so he will be a pretty big adult, too. Interactions with Other Animals He is an absolute sweetheart, though he finds strange dogs to be scary and may bark and growl at them if they get too close. With proper socialization, over time, we feel this is probably something he can overcome. Origin Story This puppy and his five siblings were the product of a surprise litter.
