Story
We adopted Zippy about six weeks ago through Adopt-A-Pet. She is a sweet rescue puppy, now about 5 months old. She currently weighs around 13 lbs and, according to our vet, is expected to be 20–28 lbs fully grown. Zippy is an amazing, loving, smart, and playful puppy. Like any puppy, she needs lots of time, attention, and care. We have been training her, and she is almost completely potty trained. She knows several basic commands, including sit, paw, down, and spin. Sadly, our circumstances have unexpectedly changed. My husband recently had a heart attack and is still in the hospital. He has a long recovery ahead and will need significant time and care. As heartbreaking as this decision is, we are no longer in a position to give Zippy the time and attention she deserves. We want to find her a loving, responsible home where she will be happy, well cared for, and loved as much as we love her.

Story
FeFe is Sophia, a tan female dog and Mari’s littermate. She is about 15 months old, around 40 pounds, spayed, potty-trained, and essentially full grown. She has a very affectionate, friendly personality and enjoys both people and other dogs. She was raised in a multi-dog household, so she is comfortable being around other dogs and would likely do well in a home with canine companions. FeFe is still very much a young dog—playful, energetic, curious, and currently in the chewing stage—so she needs a home that understands normal puppy behavior and can give her appropriate activity, attention, and structure. She enjoys being outdoors and would benefit from having room to play and explore safely. FeFe and Mari have grown up together, but FeFe can be adopted separately. Because they are littermates and accustomed to being together, she may have a short adjustment period if separated from Mari, but her friendly and social nature should help her transition into a loving new home.

Story
Kay was abandoned near our home. She was malnourished, in need of a bath and a pedicure. We took her to vet for wellness check. We had her spayed and fully vaccinated, heart guard plus included. She has regained some of her weight and is healthy happy dog. She is very sweet and loves to be petted. She gets along with all our other pets. She is good with children. We have 5 other dogs and 2 cats so are pretty much at capacity. I will deliver to a reasonable distance.

Story
Meet Mari — A Sweet Girl Looking for Her Family Mari is a 15-month-old young lady with a big heart and lots of love to give. She is friendly, affectionate, playful, and loves being around people. She is also good with children, making her a great candidate for a family looking for a young companion to become part of their everyday life. At just over a year old, Mari is at a wonderful age. She still has the fun, playful energy of a young dog, but she is ready for the consistency and companionship of a permanent home. She enjoys attention, spending time with her people, playing, and exploring. Mari would love a family that will include her in their lives, give her plenty of exercise and affection, and continue helping her learn and grow. She has so much potential to become an amazing family companion. One important thing to know about Mari is that she is not good with chickens, so a home without chickens or other free-roaming poultry would be the best fit for her.
