Meet Cyrus, a sweet boy who came from a property with about 30 other dogs and missed out on early human socialization, meaning he is still learning to navigate the world. Because of his past, he loves other well-balanced dogs, is incredibly playful with them, and truly thrives with a confident fur friend to act as his emotional support animal. Story
Sweet Tank is absolutely LOVING his time in foster while he heals from his happy tail! 🥹🐾 His amazing foster parents are giving him exactly what he needs right now — plenty of rest, decompression, patience, and SO much love. And this boy is soaking it all in. 🥰As we’ve gotten to know Tank better, we’ve learned that he will be most successful as the only pet in his forever home. Because he missed out on important socialization as a puppy, he doesn’t always understand or read other dogs’ cues appropriately. We want to set Tank — and any other animals — up for success, so a home where he can be the one and only is the best fit for this sweet boy. ❤️And honestly? Tank has SO much love to give. His foster family says he is a total lover boy who knows sit, no, and crate, and he LOVES to play and stay active. 🥹🎾 He’s the kind of dog who will happily soak up all the attention, adventure, and love his person has to offer. Now we need to find the family who is going to look at Tank and say, “Yep. You’re our boy.” 🥹💙Tank is ready for his forever home — could that be you?Luling Animal Welfare Society is a 501c3 organization that supports the care and adoption of animals at the Luling Municipal Shelter.
