🐾 Meet Love 💖 📍 Age: Estimated DOB 08/28/23 ⚖️ Weight: 31 lbs 🐾 Breed: Golden Retriever / Poodle 🐶 Dog Friendly: Yes – requires a canine companion 🐱 Cat Friendly: Yes 👶 Kid Friendly: Yes, Older/considerate kids only 🚽 Potty Trained: Yes, good on a schedule 🏠 Crate Trained: No, does not like the crate and does well being left loose in the house when left alone 🌳 Fenced Yard: Not required, but a fenced yard is a big plus; can potty and exercise on leash And I’m pretty sure my name says it all… I just want to be LOVE-d! I’m a sweet, cuddly 3-year-old girl who is still a little shy, but I’m getting braver every day. I LOVE being petted, snuggling with my people, and claiming the bed as my personal kingdom (I’m a serious bed hog!). 😂 At 30 pounds, I’m the perfect size for both couch cuddles and adventures. I’m leash trained, love walks and dog parks, and do great in the car. I get along wonderfully with my two dog foster siblings and cat, too! I do have some separation anxiety and can be sensitive to loud or busy environments, so a calm, quieter home would be best for me. I also love my toys…but sometimes forget they aren’t food, so I need a little supervision. 😉 I’m sweet, silly, affectionate, and ready to find my forever family. Could that be you? 💕 💵 Adoption Fee: $895

Age: Estimated DOB 10/3/21 Weight: 77 lbs Dog friendly: Yes, requires companion dog in the home Cat friendly: Unknown/not tested Kid friendly: Yes Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes Meet Liliya, aka Lily, Lillian, Silly Lily, Lily Lu, or Lilypad! 💕 Lily is a beautiful, soft Golden Retriever who is learning about life outside of being a puppy maker. So many things are new to her, but she’s making progress every day and learning how wonderful it can be to simply be a loved family dog. Lily is a sweet girl who looks to other dogs for guidance and confidence, so will need a companion dog in her forever home. Having a canine friend will help her continue learning new things and becoming more comfortable with the world around her. She would love a fenced yard to explore and enjoy, but it is not a requirement. She is potty trained and can be trusted to roam the house while her foster family is away. She likes having a safe, comfortable spot to call her own and relax in—right now, her favorite place is the bedroom. This gentle girl is ready to leave her puppy-making days behind and discover all the good things that come with being a cherished family member. With a little patience, lots of love, and a canine buddy by her side, Lily will continue to grow into the happy, confident Golden girl she was always meant to be. 🐾❤️ Adoption fee: $695

Story
Age: approximately 3 years Weight: 21lbs Dog friendly: Yes, requires companion dog in the home Cat friendly: dog savvy cats only Kid friendly: yes Potty trained: yes, on a schedule Crate trained: yes, in a secure/enclosed crate Don’t let this shy little guy fool you—there’s a sweet, loving companion hiding behind that initial hesitation! Once he realizes you’re safe, he’ll bond with you and quickly become your shadow and best friend. Murphy seems to warm up quicker to women, although he’s comfortable being picked up by men, too. He’s a quiet little guy and generally only barks when he’s left alone by his special human. He does well in an enclosed crate. He enjoys going for walks, but he prefers to take things at his own pace—so don’t expect him to train you for a marathon! Murphy would do best with a fenced yard, as he hasn’t gone potty on a leash yet. Murphy would also love another dog to live with, but not one that would push him around. He loves cuddling beside you in bed, although if he isn’t contained in the bedroom, his curiosity may get the better of him and he’ll occasionally get up to explore. Most of the time, he’s very laid-back, but every now and then, the zoomies kick in! He absolutely loves being outside, especially relaxing in a porch chair and soaking up the summer sunshine. In the evenings, he enjoys snuggling up in cozy blankets. He will need regular grooming and/or brushed. And one more thing: sirens definitely get his attention! Whenever he hears one, those little ears perk right up. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal little companion who may take some time to warm up but will reward your patience with a whole lot of love, this shy guy could be your perfect match. ❤️ Adoption fee: $895

Story
Update 8/12/26 Buffy had a weigh-in last week and is at a total weight loss of 5lbs. She anticipates her morning walks and has reached 1.25 miles. She is still such a happy easy going girl. Could she be the sunshine to brighten your day? Meet Buffy! ☀️ Buffy is a big, sunny, smiley girl with an even bigger heart. Found as a stray in South Dakota, this lovable lady greets each day with a happy face and her signature "helicopter tail" that spins in circles whenever she's excited. Buffy is on an inspiring weight-loss journey, already making progress with daily walks and a healthier diet. She loves peaceful morning strolls, relaxing outside to watch the world go by, and soaking up affection from her favorite people. She's gentle, intelligent, and gets along well with resident dogs she knows, though she can be reactive to unfamiliar dogs on leash and will need continued management and training in those situations. Buffy also has some arthritis, so she takes medication to keep her comfortable and would thrive in a low-key home without lots of stairs. She previously had a benign growth removed from one of her toes, and while it may return in the future, she's currently doing well. If you're looking for a sweet, easygoing companion with a loving spirit, a goofy smile, and endless affection to give, Buffy is ready to find the family who will cheer her on through the rest of her journey.

KOLACHI AND HIS BEST BUDDIES WILL BE AT A MEET AND GREET ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 23 12:30 -2:30 UNLESS SOMEONE HAS ALREADY PICKED HIM AS THEIR NEW BEST FRIEND. COME TO BAD WEATHER BREWING 414 W7TH IN SAINT PAUL FOR SOME CUDDLES AND MAYBE GO HOME WITH A NEW FAMILY MEMBER. Kolachi is an outgoing, sociable and fun puppy who lives to give kisses. He is one of a litter of pups surrendered to PUP to be re-homed. The family had two adult females dogs who had pups at about the same time. Not being fussy, the pups happily nursed on and were cared for by both mommies. We do not have a picture of mom but were told she is cream colored and about 30# with a short coat. That fits with what the pups look like. We have no clue who daddy might be. The mommies did a good job caring for them and the puppies arrived at their foster home in good health. We had DNA testing done on one pup from the litter. Here is what we found: 22 breeds including Asian, herding, guard, sporting, terrier, companion and street dog. Here they all are: Siberian Husky, Chow, Alaskan Malamute, Samoyed, Chinese Shar-Pei, Shiba Inu, German Shepherd, Border Collie, Australian Cattle Dog, White Swiss Shepherd, Great Pytenees, Amercian Pit Bull, American Staffordshire terrier, Bull Mastiff, Labrador Retriever, Golden Retriever, Chihuahua, Dachshund, Norwegian Elkhound, American Eskimo, Poodle and Carolina Dog. Bottom line, a bit of every thing and no possibility of inbreeding. We think Kolachi will be mid-size when full grown but that is best guess and his adopter should be ready to love and cuddle pup if he is larger or smaller than predicted. He is reliably using newspapers in the house and is going outside to potty much of the time, so house breaking started, not completed. The early months are when puppy learns the social skills needed to be a skilled dog in dealing with other dogs and a good citizen in the human world. Adopters should be committed to getting puppy into lots of new and different human social situations, hearing vacuums, trucks, and rattling garbage cans, meeting people who are clapping, laughing, with hats, tools, bikes and skate boards. AND puppy needs many opportunities to meet and greet dogs of all shapes, sizes and dispositions. Just sharing a home with another dog is not as much doggie socializing as puppy needs. If good canine social skills are not learned and maintained during these early months, it will be very difficult to ever master them. Puppy play dates, trips to the pet store, puppy socialization classes and later, obedience classes are particularly important. If all this doggie time and involvement seems like a good idea, you are up for a puppy! As always, a tired dog is a good dog. Puppy has been vet checked, is vaccinated, and de-wormed. He will need two additional puppy vaccinations plus rabies at the adopters expense. We do place puppies outside the metro area if a firm plan for the alter surgery is in place; we do not ship. His required alter surgery is covered by the adoption fee if it is done by 6 months at the PUP clinic. We require that he be altered by 6 months. If you are at least 21 years old and everyone in your household is on board with adopting a puppy, CALL 651-645-4370 between 7:00 am and 9:30 pm and we will return your call within 24 hours. We are pretty slow at responding to e-mail. Renters must provide proof that you are allowed to have a puppy. If you currently have a companion dog or cat please be prepared to provide a vet reference prior to adoption if requested. Professional photos by Clara Metivier, snap shots by foster
