You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. // Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee $ 500 plus tax Meet Wally — a sweet, calm, snuggly boy whose gentle, friendly nature always shines through. Everyone who meets him immediately falls in love with this special dog. Wally has overcome so much in his few years. After losing his front leg following an attack by another dog, he has bounced right back to his happy, playful self. As he adjusts to tripawd life, he does well with stairs and prefers carpeted surfaces. He loves to go outside to sniff and explore in the backyard. Despite everything he’s been through, Wally gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He politely invites them to play, always respects their boundaries, and takes corrections from both humans and dogs very well. He’s even won over our cranky resident dog and would benefit from another confident dog playmate in the home. Wally is fully house-trained and trusted with free rein in our home, as he is not a fan of the crate. He is very quiet and hardly barks, even when our resident dog is on security patrol. He’s still working on commands, but his calm, eager-to-please nature makes him easy to live with. Wally has proven to be great with babies and young kids thanks to his calm, sweet temperament. He spends his days playing with chewies, napping, and happily cuddling up on the couch. He is happiest and most comfortable right by his people. Wally would thrive in a loving home where he can continue to be close to his humans as he settles into this new way of life — surrounded by the care, comfort, and affection he so deeply deserves.
