Story
Hello! My name is Miso and I'm a spayed female, 1-year-old, Siberian Husky/Pit Bull Mix that currently weighs about 44lbs. I'm an active, affectionate gal that is known for being a total lovebug. I have lots of wiggly energy, which I use by running full speed and chasing toys! When I am done playing, you can find me laying at your feet asking for belly rubs. I'm super affectionate and love full heartedly! I'm still working on impulse control and my doggy social skills, so I'm hoping my new family is ready for an active lady and is an experienced family that is prepared to continue my training. I also happen to be 'The Sniff Expert': I’ll lead the way and make sure every leaf is properly inspected. If I sound like the perfect addition to your family come on in with the whole family to meet me.   Miso ID# A0974599Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around! To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.July 23, 2026, 1:05 am

Story
Don’t be startled if you see what seems to be an auburn wolf walking around in HQ, it’s just Jessie, the most gorgeous husky this side of Muttville! She knows that most huskies are found in shades of gray, but that just isn’t the life for this gingery gal – Jessie is a shining star in a sea of mutts and just had to show off her one-of-a-kind status. Jessie is kind of like her counterpart in Toy Story – this loyal lady is a friend for life. She’s hoping to meet someone to fill the best friend shaped hole in her heart and spend the rest of her days going on adventures with them. If you’re looking for a big, beautiful partner in crime, Jessie is the girl of your dreams! Here's some notes from her foster: Her eyes mesmerize. Her coat is enveloping. She’s sweet as can be in her first week with me. Her walks range from very sniffy to propulsive patrolling. On a straight stretch of sidewalk, at a good pace, she’ll sometimes edge closer to your calves, like a partner on the sled dog team. Otherwise, not very into dogs. On walks, she spots other dogs from a distance and works her way well around them, no leash straining or vocalizations, just attentive avoidance in most cases. Short cordial interactions with a few dogs, but no lingering, following. She explores every new space thoroughly, probing the edges even if it involves some tight squeezes. Sometimes she likes to rest underneath things - a chair, a bench, a dark closet under stairs. She pays curious attention to everything. She has not reacted to squirrels, strollers, vehicles. She’s been courteous to all people she’s met around me, though often not into chatting. She’s been walking 3-5 miles a day and has been sleeping soundly through the night. She prefers chicken to beef. She doesn’t hear much, but does hear some. She’s very quiet; she’s made almost no sounds around me. After a hot walk, she may paw her water a bit, so there’s a dog towel at the ready. She’s loves a good snuggle and has beautiful eyeliner.

Story
Ivan is a very sweet and happy fostered Huskador (Husky and Labrador mix) looking for his forever home. He is 3 years old and weighs about 60 pounds and is full of personality. He is very lovable and will be by your side looking for affection and will definitely make you smile every time he receives a pet, a hug, or a treat. Ivan is an all around great dog that gets along with all people, children, and other dogs. He walks well on the leash, does great in the car, and is ready for new adventures. He has been neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He is house-trained, but he does not like being in a crate. Ivan does have a sister named Ivanka who is posted separately. It would be ideal to keep them together, but we are open to having them get adopted separately. Either one of these beautiful dogs would be a great addition to any loving family.

Story
Making this decision has been incredibly difficult, but I’m relocating and want to find Nico the loving home he deserves.Nico currently resides in San Francisco and is a wonderful, easygoing dog who was born in Chicago. He has adapted beautifully to city life and is fully potty trained, exceptionally well behaved, and has been trained both personally and professionally. He has great manners and is a joy to have around.Nico is incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than curling up on the couch for a cuddle after a day of adventure. While he’s an excellent city dog, he truly thrives outdoors. He loves hiking, exploring trails, spending time at the beach, long walks, and soaking up nature. He’s an easy dog to care for and would do well with someone looking for a loyal, loving companion.I’m looking for a home where he’ll be treated like family and continue to get the love, attention, and adventures he enjoys.
