Welcome Franki to CCPAL Rescue Foster Program. Franki is a 1-year-old Siberian Husky that weighs about 45 pounds with beautiful ice-blue eyes. She looks like a pure bred Husky in our honest opinion. She is very mellow and already has some skills under her belt. She is good in a car. She lays down and relaxes and isn’t nervous at all. She is good on a leash and knows the sit command. She is attentive and was listening well when we were working with her. She loves women naturally and warms up slower to men but very nice to strangers. She is stunningly beautiful and already is trained on an underground fence. She is currently around another dog. It is a Great Pyrenees and she is fine with this dog. She also lives on acerage with alpacas and has been fine with them as well. She has extremely soft fur and is very very sweet. We are proud to be looking for this great dog’s new forever home. Her story is she was dumped out in the country here in Texas and doesn’t have a microchip. All efforts were made to find her owner as she is a wonderful dog. Her home could not be found so she is looking for a new forever home. She is healthy, vaccinated and will be spayed before going to her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport on one of the wonderful transporters is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Chevy is a husky mix and is about 6.5 years old and weighs 45 pounds. Chevy’s a perfect gentleman with excellent manners and he’s a total sweetheart! He loves people and other dogs and knows basic commands such as sit, down and wait. He is also kennel-trained. Chevy loves to be affectionate, but also respects your space and doesn’t jump on people. Meet Apollo! He’s an enthusiastic guy with a heart for adventure! He’s an active husky who would love to exercise or go on hikes with you. Meet sweet girl Princess! She’s a 40-pound Siberian husky with piercing blue eyes. She is the perfect size and is fully grown at 4 years old. Puppy days are behind her which means no chewing and no puppy antics. Her dream day consists of cuddling, being wherever her human is, and laying in the sunshine. Princess was found as a stray. And yet, she is the sweetest and cuddliest!She walks great on a leash and loves car rides. Princess does tend to resource guard by pushing other dogs out of the way, so she needs some work on boundaries—kennel training would help a ton! Top of the mornin' to ya! It's me Mullen, the most pleasant lad you'll ever meet! You don't hear about many Irish Siberian Huskies now do ya? But, here I am! With my ginger-red coat I am the talk of the town, however, I can only be adopted in my town because I am kind of an anxious kind of fellow. I love other dogs and must be adopted with another calm/confident dog please. My new owners need to be patient and great at building confidence in me, as I never was loved on as a pup so I am still nervous with new people and in new situations. Spike is a "manly" kind of name, right?? I am a guy, so I must be "strong like bull" :) Actually I am kind of a goofball. Smart and silly, playful and happy- just grateful to be alive!! I was saved from a high high kill shelter in W Texas and have been here getting my heartworms treated and having friends and an actual life... but now my goal is to have an actual FAMILY too!! I am good with other dogs, although I am a dominant boy, so I need either to be an only dog or to have a submissive friend to hang with. I am a husky to all that goes along with that breed applies, I am active, I need a husky knowledgeable family cause we are escape artists and shed A LOT!! Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Hi I'm Xena!  I'm a beautiful lady who came here from a shelter in Arkansas.  My former owners were seen dumping me by a river and driving away leaving me alone.  Could it be because I had cherry eye?  I don't know, but that was fixed and my eyes look great!   So let me tell you about myself!  I can be a bit unsure when first meeting new people, but give me a little time and I warm up and I'm all smiles and body wiggles!  I have an adorable prance too because I know I'm just that gorgeous!  I love toys and balls and will happily entertain myself with them.  I also enjoy chewing on bones.  When I'm not playing I will lay at my foster moms feet by her desk while she works.  I'm always available if she needs to take a break and give me pets and ear scratches.  I've met the kitties here and I didn't really care about them, even though one of them gave me a swat in the face.  It was uncalled for so I just walked away.  Mom gave me lots of praise for that and I really liked it!  I haven't met any of those little humans called kids, but I'm usually pretty chill so I don't think I'd mind them.  I do well with the dogs in my foster home, but I do prefer calmer ones.  I'd be happy being your only dog too!  I should also tell you I love food and treats.  I don't like to share them with my doggie friends though so I do need to eat separately.  It's ok because I'm perfectly happy eating in my kennel.  I'm doing good with kennel and potty training.  I sometimes protest a bit when going in so shared walls might not be best for me.  Now it's time for me to find my true family who will love me forever and I hope it can be with you Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans.
