Story
Zeus is the sweetest, smartest boy. I adopted him 8 months ago from my local humane society. He knows sit, lay down, and shake. He loves people and just loves to run, run, and run. He would do best in a home with a very large yard and maybe one or other dog but would be fine as a solo dog too.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Rex is a beautiful, young Husky/Shepherd boy. Rex is approximately one year old and is in need of a foster home to come to rescue. He is good with other dogs, kids and is Ok with cats, but is kind of hyper around them, so may bother some cats. He has been kept rather confined, so we are hoping we can get him into a situation where he will get lots of walks, maybe dog park, etc.   Interested in fostering or adopting? Apply on our website ( https://www.healingheartsrescue.org/adopt )  to  set up a private meeting or check below for my adoption event schedule.   Age: Approximately 3 years old Weight: 55lbs Dog friendly: Yes but best with medium/large dogs Cat friendly: Unknown Kid friendly: Yes - older teens only Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes   *FENCE REQUIRED* Hello and thank you for checking me out.  My name is Waichiwi.  I love to hang out in the sun in my backyard. I am kennel trained and currently live in a household with a 7 year old labrador, two human teenagers and my foster parents. I love chasing after squirrels and rabbits in my backyard.  I also love lounging in the sun.  I am excited to meet new people – and have a habit of bopping you in the nose when I meet you.   I love humans, walking with them, playing outside with them, taking trips to norther Minnesota – where I can be on a tie out and explore new places.  I struggle to get to know new dogs.  I need time to become used to them either in pack walks or slow introductions where we get to sniff each other – not nose to nose. I am getting back into brewery tours and enjoy hanging out there with my humans and meeting new humans.  I am working hard on getting to calmy meet new dogs in that environment. If you are looking for a dog to live in your fenced yard home – I’m your dog.  If you have another dog in your home -we will want to meet each other a few times and make sure we get along.  Waichiwi is looking for a home that will provide her with the time and patience needed to help her build confidence with other dogs. Come meet her today and get ready to fall head over heels with her!    Adoption Fee: $350  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.INTERESTED IN MEETING ME? Story
Hi, I’m Meg! I’m a Husky born 12/19/21. I have lots of energy and would benefit from regular walks and/or an active person or family. I do okay on a leash. I don’t pull a whole lot but could benefit from some leash training. I do well in a kennel but my current foster family lets me have full reign of the house with the other dogs. I live with two other dogs and do well with them, however, the puppy in my still gets excited and I’ve nipped a time or two. I also live with two cats. I’m curious about them but don’t make any attempts to hurt or chase them. I also live with an 8 year old human. I may not be good for a home with smaller children as I am a bigger dog and haven’t learned how to greet you without jumping on you yet. I know the word down and will get down after a big slobbery kiss hello. I enjoy car rides and make an amazing travel companion. I enjoy snuggles with my foster family and trying to be a lap dog even if I don’t always fit. I’m pretty well potty trained. I’ve had a few accidents in the house while adjusting to my new home, but my foster family is getting better at picking up my cues that I need to go outside. I am generally pretty quiet but I will bark to say hello when you come from work, when the kid opens his bedroom door in the morning and out the window at the neighbor in their own driveway (the nerve of them to use their own driveway and not even show me love). My barks may be too loud in an apartment setting. I have lots of love to give and can’t wait to meet you.  Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: 495.00  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 5:33 pm
