She’s crate trained, sleeps through the night in her kennel, and does great with daytime crate breaks too (up to 6 hours currently). She’s also potty trained and happily handles business in the yard. She listens when you tell her “go potty”. This girl is a quick learner. She already knows sit, down, and touch, which is where she touches her nose to your hand and can be used for recall. She's currently learning leave it and doing well. Training sessions are one of her favorite ways to burn energy and bond with her people. Her other favorite way is a walk of any length. Faber brings rookie enthusiasm to everything she does. She loves fetch, enjoys snuggle time once she settles, and wants to be involved in whatever her humans are up to. Like many young athletes, she’s still building her off-switch and does best with clear routines, structure, and regular mental and physical outlets. Bear is a 2-year-old, 65 lb neutered Siberian Husky with striking looks and a sweet personality. Both of his parents are Siberian Huskies, and his dad carries the agouti wooly gene — which gives Bear a unique coat texture and a distinctive, slightly fuller look than your typical husky. Add in one blue eye and one brown eye, and he’s truly a standout. Beyond his looks, Bear is a well-rounded young dog. He’s house trained, kennel trained, and knows basic commands. He’s used to being crated and settles well. He’s also fantastic with kids and has a gentle, affectionate side — he loves climbing into your lap for pets and attention. As you’d expect from a husky, Bear loves the snow and being outdoors. He enjoys playtime and does well with medium and larger dogs. He hasn’t been around small dogs, so that would need thoughtful introductions. He does chase cats, though he has never hurt one — because of that instinct, a cat-free home would likely be the best fit. Bear is still working on leash manners and recall, so a securely fenced yard is a must to help him safely burn off energy and continue training. He’s vocal when lonely in his crate or when he’s outside playing and excited, but he doesn’t do the classic husky howl.
