Lola is a sweet, curious and loves people. She is playful and full of energy. Due to a recent change in my job that requires excessive travel, I am no longer able to give Lola the time and attention she deserves and due to the travel, she no longer gets along with my elder dog with health issues after they were separated temporarily. I feel that finding Lola a new, loving home is the best path forward for her well-being. I believe she would do best with an owner that has a large backyard only large dogs.

Hi, I am Penny, a Husky born approx 11/22/25. I’m a very special little girl because I came all the way from Arkansas to Minnesota, carrying two names like a celebrity on tour! Down south, they called me Eleven, but when I arrived in Minnesota, all my vet records said Penny. So now I like to think of myself as a pup with bonus names—how fancy is that?! Between us, I definitely perk up more when you say Eleven—it’s unique, just like me! But I’m a smart little cookie, and I learn fast, so whatever loving name you choose, I’ll catch on quickly. e I may be tiny, but I am FULL of silliness, spunk, sass, and sparkle! I totally run the household—I mean, someone has to be in charge, right? I have two giant foster brothers (like… over 60 pounds giant!) who are pittie mixes, and I wrestle and romp with them like I’m the same size. Don’t worry—this little lady can hold her own! My foster mom says I’m a Husky mix, and I definitely believe her because I have the cutest Husky howl. But I think I might also have a little terrier, maybe a dash of lab, and possibly a sprinkle of pittie in my magical mix! And guess what? I’ve got soft, fluffy brown fur and stunning light blue/gray eyes that everyone swoons over. I’m totally crate-trained! I eat in my crate—not because I guard my food, but because my resident brothers prefer I don’t “taste test” their meals. I don’t mind—I LOVE food so much that I dance my way right into my crate at mealtimes! I also sleep in my crate like a sweet little angel through the whole night. I can even stay there for up to 8 hours if needed (usually just once a week). The rest of the week, I am free to roam around and crash wherever I please because my foster mom works from home. I’m working hard on potty training, and foster mom says I’m doing AMAZING! I know how to find my puppy pads when I’m not distracted by the zoomies, and when we go outside, I always go potty like a big girl. I think the puppy pads are for emergencies only, so I try my very best to wait for outside time! Thanks for reading all about me! Fiona is a 1-year-old Husky/Lab mix with a sweet, sensitive heart. She may be shy at first, but once she decides you’re her person, she’ll be your Velcro shadow—following you from room to room, sitting at your feet and greeting you at the door with a huge smile and a wagging tail. She’s eager to please and already knows commands like sit, down, and off, with impressively good recall for such a young pup. She does okay in her crate for car rides, but does not use it at home otherwise.In her future home, Fiona will require a family with a resident dog already to help her separation anxiety and fear of being left alone. Fiona does well with other dogs and cats, having previously lived with them. She may need to warm up to them but then she's ready to play! She does not have much experience with kids.She loves walks, playtime, and chewing (durable toys and heavy-duty bones are her favorite, stuffed toys don’t stand a chance!). Because she tends to wander, a securely fenced yard will be required in her future home. Fiona has decided stairs are optional and would much rather launch herself dramatically off the top step into the yard. She “talks” and chatters throughout the day but saves her big voice for important announcements, like reminding you it’s time to go outside. Hi! I'm Polar Vortex. I am a lovable, stubborn, energetic pup around 3-4 years old! True I am a big puppy and I need lots of guidance and training to ensure that I am set up for success in my life. Where I am staying currently there are no toys, human food or treats allowed as I haven't fully learned how to share. I love playing with the resident dogs. Speaking of the resident dogs I am with, I LOVE PLAYING ROUGH with them. I love to raise my big strong paw and give a smack to get the wrestling match started! I am a stereotypical Malamute in that respect. My foster mom says that it comes with Malamute territory and with being a puppy. I know how to kennel up, and I have been allowed to free roam when the humans leave. I didn’t cause trouble either way while the humans were away. I do eat my meals in the kennel so I can eat in peace, again not a fan of sharing... yet. I am a very smart, yet stubborn. I do not care for car rides at the moment. I will get into the car if and when I choose. My foster mommy is working on enticing me with treats to get into the car. I will admit, it is starting to work. I am still a puppy who wants to play. I am eager to learn the skills though and once I have them my foster mom says I will be a wonderful companion. Ooooh, and I almost forgot, I take treats very nice, you hardly know I am grabbing the treat from your hand. I am almost fully potty trained! My foster mommy also calls me her “little” velcro puppy. I want to make sure she is still home so I follow her everywhere. I really like sleeping with her at night on the big soft bed. She finds it funny that I currently don’t jump onto the couches, but I have no issue sleeping on the big soft bed with her at night. Who knows, maybe I will surprise everyone and start jumping onto the couches as I now understand the pleasures of sleeping on a human bed.
