Story
Come meet me at one of our two Adoption Events this weekend! 💜 Trove Brewing in Burnsville on Saturday, 6/6 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm 💚 Chuck & Don's in Wayzata on Sunday, 6/7 from 11:00am - 1:00pm Age: approximately 1 year Weight: 31lbs Dog friendly: Yes, requires companion dog in the home. Cat friendly: Yes! Kid friendly: Not tested, but likely fine with older/respectful children. Potty trained: Yes! Crate trained: Yes! Meet Ricky! He is the sweetest little fluff ball ever. At first he was slow to warm up. He liked being near by but wasn’t super interested in playing or cuddling. Now he loves to chase his foster puppy sister around the yard and chew on treats. He still isn’t too interested in toys, but he loves to be by his people and get lots of pets! Ricky walks well on a leash and knows to go potty outside. He has never had a potty accident in his foster home. He also doesn’t mind car rides. Ricky would love a fenced in yard to play in, but would also do fine going potty on a leash. Ricky has tried to wander so a secure fence or a commitment to using a leash is a must for him! Ricky LOVES treats and takes them very gently. He is still learning basic commands, but based on his love of food, he should pick it up quickly. Ricky lives with a doggie foster brother and sister and a kitty foster brother and sister too. He hasn’t had any issue with any of them! In fact, Ricky requires another dog in the home to help him feel brave and confident while he is adjusting and he looks to other dogs for cues. Additionally, Ricky’s fluffy hair will require regular brushing and grooming to avoid painful mattes. Ricky tolerates brushing well, especially when he gets treats! Ricky hopes to meet you soon! Story
Bug is a lovable Bugger!  Bug's foster family sent his DNA in for testing and it revealed that he is a doberhusky!    Bug emits the sweet love of a dobe and the playful side of a husky!  He absolutely loves to be around his people and play outside. Bug will require a fence as he does love to run.  His foster home has cats, and he seems to do ok with them under supervision.  This sweet boy is looking forward to finding his forever, forever home! He is a very mellow and easy going snuggle bud. He will require a home with no small children(13+ year old) kids make him anxious and uneasy. He will need a home that is quiet, low key and a nice simple life. He hasn't been crated in many years, but his temp foster is re-establishing some crate training for him, making it a positive and safe place to be. He does do fine if left out when you are away or putting up a gate. He does appear to have some anxiety when left alone but we are working on that. He is a counter surfer so no leaving him unattended in the kitchen or by the garbage(one with a locking lid is best).  He enjoys filled bone for entertainment  as opposed to stuffies. He loves being outside and has not dug any holes! He is generally quiet unless he needs to go out, or if he thinks you are late with his breakfast or dinner. Kenneling is being done in short periods as he hadn't been kenneled for many years, but he goes right in, especially if his breakfast if served there. He does need to lose 10+ lbs, so they break his treats in half, and limit to two per day. He was super at the vet, and trimming nails is a breeze. He is trained to walk with a pinch collar, and loves car rides This fabulous foster is a Doberman Rescue Minnesota foster dog. Please read all adoption steps and policies carefully on our website. http://dobermanrescueminnesota.com/adoption-steps/ Qualified adopters are within the approved adoption area, and Adopter will be requested to visit this foster dog at the foster family home. Our foster families are generally located within a 250 mile radius of Minneapolis, MN. All DRM dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, health checked, microchipped, dewormed, 4DX tested, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention. June 8, 2026, 10:37 pm

Story
Age: 3 years old Weight: 45 lbs Dog friendly: Yes, requires companion dog in the home Cat friendly: Unknown Kid friendly: Yes Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes Nelly is pure sweetheart. She’s done extremely well adapting to her foster’s home; house-trained, crate-trained, and not a single accident in the house. Nelly loves playing with other dogs, and equally enjoys playing fetch and tug-of-war with her humans. She’s savvy enough to bring her humans different toys to encourage them to play with her. She’s a big fan of couch cuddles, and will give a gentle nudge to entice further pets! Nelly does great on a leash and is working on heeling. She has lots of fun at the dog park, happily greeting other dogs and humans, and sometimes running like the wind. Nelly would do great with any family with lots of love to give, including a family with children! She would also do best with a family that has another dog. Adoption fee: $395.00

Story
Meet Ghoat. He’s being fostered in east TN. Out of state welcome for additional fee. We transport to the Greta lakes and northeast areas east areas. We use rescue riders for all our pet transport needs. Ghost had a home but unfortunately his owner could not longer care for him. He’s a really sweet pup. He loves attention and will come rest his head on your lap for petting and ear scratches. He gets along with most all other dogs big and small young or old. He is very playful and has lots of energy. He seems to be a husky mix. He has the curled husky tail and the coat of a medium coated husky but he also looks like he could be mixed with another breed. He’s not very big and only around 45 lbs. he’s a year old so he should not get much bigger. He probably will top out around 50-55 lbs. he is crate trained and house trained and walks well on a leash. He is a just a little shy when meeting new people and it doesn’t take long for him to warm up. He is one smart and sweet pup!
