Hello, my name is Oreo.  I am currently adjusting to my friends and we are getting to know each other.  Please let my new friends know if you have any questions about me.   If think you are the perfect family home for me, my friends would love to hear from you. Please contact them now at www.handsnpaws@outlook.com.  Each of our animals are microchipped, up to date on their vaccines, dewormed, and flea treated.  If it is age appropriate, they are spayed or neutered and given their rabies.  Unless it is otherwise noted in their medical history, our cats are not FELV/FIV tested.  This may be done at the request of an adopter and at their expense.  The adoption fee of each of our animals is listed underneath their pictures on their biography page.   If you would like more information, please click on the adopt button and fill out the Adoption form and that will be forwarded to the foster home so you can speak with them about the pet. Our adoptions are done on a first come first service basis unless a hold is placed on the pet(s).  The hold is for up to 7 days and may be done when the Adoption Contract is submitted.  You may place a hold by paying the Hold Fee of $25 per pet.  The Hold Fee of $25 is Non-Refundable and will be in addition to the Adoption Fee.  You may instead pay the full Adoption Fee which will also hold the pet(s).  After 7 days, if the pet(s) have not been picked up, any fees paid will be forfeited and will be considered a donation to Hands 'N Paws Animal Assistance.  ##2032135##

Meet Bayron! This lovely old man was surrendered to us when his owner moved. He is 11 years old and a little confused about what his happening to him, but he is settling in well in his foster home. Bayron is an easy-going fella. He snoozes on and off during the day and likes to putter around the yard a bit. He is friendly towards all people and other dogs but of course given his age we would like to see him in a more calm home. He loves his walks and has plenty of energy for a few nice strolls around the neighborhood every day. Bayron has some cataracts and can't see completely well but he gets around just fine. A home without stairs will be best for him. He seems to be in pretty good shape otherwise.  If you are looking for a nice easy-going friend to keep you company, Bayron may be the one for you.  He will be vaccinated, neutered and chipped. His adoption fee is $295. We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! Single dog home preference*** This is Finn (Finny), she is about 5 years old & incredibly sweet! She can be very shy, but very smart. She has a lot of energy & is good off leash, she will never leave your side. Though she can get scared easily so I would not have her off leash in an area busy with cars, people or dogs. She is scared large dogs. She can do well with other dogs, (took about 1-2 months to bond with my other dog). Even though she has a lot of energy she's also more than happy to be a couch potato if you let her snuggle with you. She is potty trained & almost never barks, except when someone she is excited about comes home. She is also crate trained though I never crate here. The crate is a safe space for her. I have had Finn 4+ years. I feel terrible to rehome her, but we just never bonded & I know she we be happier in a quieter environment as an only dog w/ no competing attention. Preferably someone who works from home or is retired.
