Story
Sammy is a 5 year old, 37 lb Pug mix. She is a bit larger than a Pug, but we can't figure out what she is mixed with! What we do know for sure is that Sammy is a sweetheart of a dog! She is a laid-back and thrives on relaxation and companionship. She is incredibly affectionate and enjoys being held or petted. She loves to hop up on the couch so she can snuggle up to you while you are watching TV. Sammy gets along with other dogs, but she can easily be an only dog, as long as she gets lots of attention. She would do best in a home with no cats. She sleeps through the night in her crate, and is working very hard to be 100% potty trained. Sammy enjoys leisurely walks where she is given the opportunity to explore and sniff interesting scents along the way. She will not do well in a home where her people are gone for long periods of time. She has had puppies in the recent past, and she is overweight, so a nutritious diet is a must. Sammy is past her playful stage and has no interest in toys or chasing a ball, but she will make a loving and loyal companion for the right adopter. If you would like to meet Sammy, please submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you..

Story
Jinx is one of sixteen puppies being given away in a Parking lot at roughly 2 weeks of age.  The mom had passed away and the family did not know how to care for this many pups.  A good samaratin took one and offered to foster for us. Jinx is now 8 weeks old and weighs 5.6 lbs. Per Wisdom Panel, Jinx is a mix of 11 different breeds with the top 3 being Pug, Pit Bull and Miniature American Shepherd mix. He is estimated to be 31-55 lbs when full grown. Jinx is currently working on potty training and how to sit on command. If you are interested in adding this precious boy to your family, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck*Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row):Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee + taxDogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee + tax Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2013143##

Story
Seven-year-old Lucky Girl is a puggle mix whose simple pleasures include back scratches, warm beds, bones, squeaky toys, road trips, and going camping. She gets an A+ in housetraining, knows how to use a doggie door, and is polite with children as long as they are calm. Lucky Girl would do best in a tranquil forever home where she is the only dog or lives with larger dogs. If you’re feeling lucky, fill out an application for this lovely lady at dfwpugs.com.

Story
Tip your hat to seven-month-old pug/terrier mix Fedora and his adorable underbite! Fedora is curious, smart, energetic, playful with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, and enjoys sharing his toys. He also loves leash walks. When he’s not zooming around his foster home and showing off his tug-of-war skills, Fedora has a softer, snugglier side. He enjoys cuddling with his foster parents on the couch and sleeping next to them at night. In true pug fashion, Fedora is food motivated but is able to sit politely and wait for his bowl to be served before scarfing down his food with enthusiasm. Because he is such a social boy, he would do best in a home with attentive humans and at least one other friendly and playful dog. If you’d like to make Fedora your forever companion, apply for him at dfwpugs.com!

Story
11-year-old bonded pair Jacksy and Jessika are sweet and gentle pugs with velcro tendencies. This laid-back brother and sister get along with adults, kids, and other dogs alike. They are housetrained, crate trained, polite, enjoy walks, and love to chill on the couch with their pack. Jacksy and Jessika’s only required “medication” is affection from their humans (and probably snacks if you happen to be offering them). If you’d like to give this senior power couple a loving permanent home, apply to adopt them at dfwpugs.com!
