Story
Please help us welcome Phillip and Lillian to Rescue Row! These sweet pups were found running around an open field in an unincorporated part of Denton County. The finder tried for weeks to find their owners and reported them to nearby shelters, but unfortunately owners could not be located. They are not microchipped and neither were wearing collars. They are now completely vetted and about 6 months old and are a tightly bonded brother and sister pair, so they must be adopted together. Per Wisdom Panel they are 49% Australian Shepherd, 42% Poodle, 7% Goldenn Retriever and 2% Miniature American Shepherd. Their expected adult size is between 35-62 lbs. If you would like to adopt a dog from Rescue Row please fill out an application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##1709130##

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Koffey just turned 3. This 40-pound Aussie mix absolutely loves to cuddle. She has been spayed and chipped. She is a very loyal companion and will follow you everywhere. Her energy level ranges from 3 to 6 depending on the activity of her owner. She is content just being around people. Of course, she loves attention and belly rubs too! Koffey’s owner has a job overseas that has been extended indefinitely and her foster mom has other dogs and cannot give Koffey the full attention that she deserves. Koffey is crate trained as well as housetrained. She is used to being in the crate for 8 hours, if need be. She is very smart and responds to all of her basic commands. She loves to play fetch, and go for walks. She does well in an apartment as well as out in the country. She does well with other dogs in the dog park. She is crazy smart and loves puzzles. She is truly a sweetheart!

Story
🌹🐶 ROSIE 🐶🌹 Rosie is a 10-week-old puppy in desperate need of a family of her own. This sweet baby moved from her first foster family to another, and now she very quickly needs to find her own family where she won't have to move again. We think Rosie is either an Australian Shepherd or a Husky mix. She has beautiful blue eyes and is going to grow up to be a gorgeous dog. Please give this sweetheart the happily-ever-after she deserves. ‼ No adoption fee until she finishes her vaccinations and is spayed (rescue covers all costs in the meantime. ADOPTION APPLICATION: www.tinyurl.com/IADRAdoptionApp ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** Our adoption fee is $175. We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to match dogs with families that will be a good fit to help ensure a successful adoption. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason. Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference is required, and a trial period will be completed before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.

Needs special attention,
Story
Berne, means 'bear-like' and this boy is so cute and has the waddle of a bear! As cute as he was we noticed something else was going on with this boy besides being a tail-less wonder. His back end seemed smooshed. We got him checked out, after x-rays and evaluation he has a compressed spine. This is common in some breeds. We don't know his breed but it will be something he has forever. He is not in pain and still acts like a normal puppy. As he gets a little bigger, we will see if there are any remedies or treatments that might help him but we do suspect he will live a happy life and would be an awesome addition to any family. He may need to be in household with older kids so he doesn't get knocked around. He is potty trained. He is doing great with crate and leash training. He loves tug of war, bully sticks and pestering his older foster siblings. He has spurts of energy a couple times a day, doesn't last long and otherwise very chill! Vet suspects he will get to 30 pounds. This sweet boy was found as a stray in a park. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at http://dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
We are looking for an experienced foster/adopter for Daisy. Although she is sweet and beautiful to look at, Daisy does not seek out human interaction at this time. Daisy comes to us from a hoarding situation. Due to lack of socialization she is extremely shy and needs a foster who understands fearful dogs and has both the patience and knowledge to work with Daisy. Daisy LOVES other dogs and must have a foster home with at least one confident dog. She also definitely needs a home with a secure fenced yard. Busy households or those with young kiddos will most likely be too much for sweet Daisy. We have had several dogs come into our rescue from this particular hoarding situation. Each one has made progress on their own individual timeline. Given time and the proper environment, Daisy can experience success as well. Our support network of fosters, adopters and resident trainers is available to help. Dallas Dog does not give up on ANY of our animals.

Story
Boo Boo was found locked up in an enclosure at a Texas panhandle recreational area without food or water. Every effort was made to try and find an owner with no luck. She appears to have been loved in her past life because she adores her foster dad and spends many hours at his feet as he works from his home office. Boo Boo loves to go in the truck, and can’t wait to be your ride or die buddy. She walks at a perfect heel on the leash and has impeccable house manners. Boo knows basic commands and is completely house and crate trained. We are guessing she is a mix of BC/Aussie and Antolian Shepherd. She is being fostered in the Amarillo area but travel toward her forever family.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Tucker is a 2 year old male border collie mix who looks more like a golden mix. Tucker is very smart and loves training. Due to his brilliant mind, although he might love you right away, will need time and patience to gain his trust. Tucker is a happy dog and super fun to train. Tucker spent a great deal of time with one of the best trainers in Texas Karen Deeds to work on his resource guarding and leash reactivity. He now has a great foundation that will need to be continued and reinforced in his forever home. He will come with all the training resources. Tucker will do best with a person who enjoys training him as much as he does and won’t mind reinforcing boundaries from day one by creating structure and routine which helps to create a better relationship. Tucker will need both mental and physical stimulations. He loves other dogs as long as there are no resources (toys/food) and the other dog is mature and calm. Training Tucker is so rewarding and fun. He will love you and entertain you with his goofy nature. He loves to talk and will wake you up by making small sounds from his crate. He can be your running or cycling buddy by patiently teaching him your pace. No small animals or cats as he has a high prey drive. He will do best in an adult only home to prevent access to items he may want to steal like children's toys and food. Tucker needs slow introduction and since multiple meet and greets with the potential adopter before making a decision about adoption, we are looking for Austin and surrounding area local applicant who would be able to drive to meet and spend time with him multiple times. As he is an anxious pup and he prefers to have some familirity in an unfamiliar environment and knowing you lreally well before coming with you will set him and you up for a successful transition. If you have patience and time and love training an intelligent dog you will quickly gain his trust which is so gratifying. In return you have the funny smart dog buddy Tucker! Tuckers’ trainer calls him a fun jerk with lots of attitude and spunk!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hello everyone! My name is Willow the wild child and it’s lovely to meet you all! Let me tell you a little about myself - I’m a sweet girl who is looking for a home that’ll take me in and teach me that not all humans are bad. Someone willing to let me zoom around the backyard chasing a ball or another dog. Someone who likes cuddles in the evening and will give me all the yummy treats I deserve (which is all of them, I promise 👀). I am around 1.5-2 years, up to date on all my yucky shots and fixed. I am around 35lbs and currently in the DFW area! I came to BCRR after being surrendered because I was spending too much time in my crate alone. I didn’t like that, I love people and other dogs too much for that! I’d love a home with another fur friend to help me fully come out of my shell and learn how to be a real dog again. I need a little work on my leash training but my foster mom says I’m doing so much better than when she first got me! If you’re someone looking for a new adventure, a new friend to enjoy life with and a new friend to keep you active - I am the girl for you!!
