Story
Blue is an Aussie mix, he is very social and loves to play, Blue needs an active owner and a yard, with a fence, not suited for apartment Blue is very energetic, he likes other dogs but plays rough. He would need to be paired with a patient dog who can put up with his immature behavior, he doesn&#39t always read cues to stop playing. His potty training has progressed significantly but he does still have accidents in the kennel occasionally. His personality is super loving and sweet, but he is mischievous and likes to be the life of the party and is still very much a puppy. Blue push boundaries and see how much he can get away with so he will need a strong leader. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meetNovember 26, 2025, 11:46 am

Story
Amber and her sister, Margot, were dumped, and luckily, not like so many other dumped dogs that get killed or starve, they were picked up by someone in rescue. They have been together all their lives, and we would love to see them stay together if possible. So, please check out Margot too if you are interested in this sweet girl.Amber lives with lots of other dogs and gets along with everyone. The girls sleep and eat in the same kennel and love to cuddle together. Amber has good house manners and is crate trained. She loves attention, even if she is a bit timid with new people. She is fully vetted, current with vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and on flea and tick, as well as heartworm, prevention.

Story
Margot and her sister were picked up as strays. Luckily, someone found them before they starved or were killed. She and her sister, Amber, have been together their entire lives, so we would love to see them adopted together, if possible. Both girls are athletic, but Margot so much that she can jump and climb over the fences at her foster home to go where she pleases. Luckily, she stays on her property and goes into different areas to play with the other dogs or her foster family. Her foster has not worked on trying to keep her contained, but this would be a concern until she could adjust to her new home; she does have excellent recall. We have a portable containment system to send with her for someone willing to work with that training.Margot lives with lots of other dogs and gets along with everyone, including the livestock rescues. She has good house manners, is crate trained, and is working on walking on a leash. She is fully vetted - current with vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartwormprevention.

Story
Pegasus is 5 years old and was born on a ranch in Central Texas to one Aussie and one Border Collie parent. He lived his first 4 years in with a family of 4 kids and his brother on a large piece of property. Our move last year has them living in a suburb with a small yard. Pegaus enjoys exploring, playing fetch, and lots of head scratches and cuddles. He is good with kids and is not agressive. He loves people and does jump up on new people he thinks have come to play with him. Barking at squirrels/birds, dogs walking by (we live right behind the walk path), the garbage man and other city things have pushed us to look at rehoming. He is a great dog, but our house and yard are just too small. Because we live in a smaller area, they cannot explore and run free. They have gotten in trouble with the HOA for barking. Pegasus would do so well with more space, but also enjoys being inside with the family. He loves walks and hikes. We want him to live his best life with more space to roam!
