Story
Hiya! My name is Callie and I am a 4-year-old Aussie/Lab mix. I've got lots going for me and can't wait to find a family I can adore fur-ever!! My foster momma is doing a great job loving me and I'll make.a fabulous addition to my new family!! I cam to the shelter after I'd been found laying in the street after getting struck by a car. Fortunately, I wasn't injured too severely and after a couple weeks to recoup, I've been good as new! My foster momma says I am laid back, happy and friendly. I love air conditioning, puppies, and treats. I am house and crate trained to boot! I am a little selective with my female adult doggie friends but so far, I haven't met a puppy or male dog I haven't liked. Oh... maybe I should tell you one last thing about me. The reason I probably got hit by a car is that I didn't know it was coming. My eyesight works great but my hearing doesn't I am deaf and since I didn't hear the car coming from behind me, I wasn't able to get out of the way in time. But that sure doesn't stop me from loving life! Contact the shelter and they'll put you in touch with my foster mom and she'll tell you how awesome I am!!

Australian Shepherd Mutt

Aubrey, TX
Size
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Pepper has been with us since birth as she is the sole puppy/child of our other two dogs, a pure breed Austrailian Shepherd male and a Golden-Retriever/mutt female. We didn't have the heart to give her up after she was weened because she was her parents first and only puppy. Over time she has grown into a very energetic, happy, agile, fun-loving young pup but has unfortunately become food competitive especially when around her 10yo mother. We have loved her for her entire two years of life and are sad at the thought of losing her but fear that her playful nature will result in frustration and fighting if she remains with her parents any longer. She needs a home with an owner/family who can give her lots of attention, regular exercise, and of course love, but loving her is the easiest part.

Story
Bubba is a great and loyal dog. He is so loving and loves to cuddle. He is a mix of what the vet thinks is Australian shepherd and collie. He is tri colored and beautiful. Bubba loves humans and other dogs. He really likes to play with other dogs. He gets along great with our corgi. He is house trained and crate trained. He knows how to sit, lay down and half five. His favorite toy is the brain teasers. He needs to be stimulated by having a backyard or going for long walks. He is fine with older children but he gets nervous around babies and toddlers. This is one of the reasons we need to rehome him. We found out we are expecting and do not want to make him uncomfortable. We also have a very small backyard and he needs more space. We rescued him and he is chipped. He is such a great dog but needs a family that has enough space and does not have littles. He needs someone who can give him time and attention he deserves.

I really want to ensure that he goes to someone who will be able to take him one adventures and love him thoroughly. He is 3 years old, 41 pounds, and OBSESSED with toys. he is the sweetest boy ever he just needs a lot more time and care than I can give him in order to train him and give him a perfect home.

Story
Bruno is very sweet but also very rambunctious. He turned a year old in December so he is full grown but still very puppy like . Unfortunately I work long hours and that is not fair for him. He requires more time and attention than I can give him and my yard isn’t large enough to accommodate him. He’s very smart and good with other dogs and kids. He loves the dog park, walks well on the leash and doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body. He would do best with a large yard and with an active family who is around to keep up with him.
