Story
Hana is a beautiful, noble creature who is a loyal and sweet house dog. She is always chipper, always ready to play, always ready to walk, and always ready to sit at your feet. She is a truly wonderful dog. Her one weakness is that she thinks she is the boss of the neighborhood, and will react to most other dogs while out for a walk. We have mostly solved this by using a harness and a choke collar. She will still react, but it's nothing unusual. We are simply a busy family at the peak of teenage and young person activities, and that, in conjunction with our travel, means that we feel she should be in a home with more regular company. I would be pleased to have you meet her any time. Hana is a treasure.

Finley is a 4 year old “Maxi-Mini” Aussie 42-45 lbs. Finley is an active guy! His energy level is 8/10 and a home where there are outdoorsy, energetic adults would be perfect! Finley LOVES walks and jogs. Finley also enjoys car rides. He’s also playful and very quick to learn; he will play fetch with his bone and tennis ball. Typical of an Aussie Fin likes his butt-rubs. He also enjoys Tummy-scratches and being petted in generality! Finley is excited each morning to greet his people and escort them to the kitchen as well as happy to assist in their meal-prep and his own! Smart guy knows a lot of tricks and commands… From his owner:“He knows how to sit, lie down and stay on command. He is a phenomenal jumper. It is great to watch his little butt shake when he walks. He’s definitely a wigglebutt. Finley is a little timid around other dogs. He goes to doggie daycare 2 times a week and the owners love him! They say he gets along well with the other dogs. He is fine with thunder and storms. He does get startled with sudden loud noises. Finley has been in the same home since he was a puppy. We know this decision is never easy for families and it’s DASH’s job to help the dogs not judge the people. We know they’re in pain so we want to help! We are helping Finley find a home with people to pet him, walk him, feed him and love him so a whole new chapter can begin for Fin! He will be inside for a few minutes then go to the back door to go back out.  He absolutely loves everyone and everything. Super sweet!  ##2268952##

Jax is about 35 lbs and is approximately 2 years old.  Jax has a moderate to high energy level for this breed; he will play with humans and other dogs once he is comfortable. He is fun and active but is also cool if his people are chillin’ inside in this crazy weather! Jax is just a sweetheart that is happy about all of the possible activities he can do; he wants to play with toys & he loves playing with other dogs so he’s going to thrive once he is in a Forever Home.  We are looking for an Aussie-experienced home for Jax that has flexible adults with time to spend with him. Again, Jax loves to play so ideally his home would have another dog to play with. Jax LOVES being outside so definitely a yard for racing around, rolling on his back and basking in the sun. (Well not now since it’s snowing but when there is sun!) TWO NEW DOGS! Bonded brothers, boon companions, companions, playmates and less work for you!No one can play with a young dog better than another young dog! Darling Duke and Dodger are bonded brothers who are loving, playful, well-trained and adorable! Both boys are 2 years old and standard-Aussie size at 45-48 lbs. Dodger is mixed Aussie with German Shepherd but just as smart and more laid-back. They know several commands and are housebroken with a doorbell they ring to go outside! Both brothers are very sweet, smart, active, playful, affectionate, and love to cuddle. When Duke & Dodger are not on their squirrel-chasing missions outside they love to interact with their people, playing fetch, chasing toys and all other fun outdoor activities. Indoors they’ll snuggle with their people; 2 people give them each a cuddle-buddy. While napping on their bed or playing with each other they’ll gladly move into position for head scratches, booty pats and cuddling on the couch! With new people they still get excited to greet and make a new friend; they could work on re-learning not to jump but this mainly started with the loss of consistent time with their beloved, current owners. These Bonded Bros would do great in a home withAussie-Savvy or older kids; anywhere that can provide lots of activities, outside playtime, and inside sleeping arrangements would be a wonderful home. They like squeaky toys and lick-mats. One reason we don’t recommend a doggie-door is that they LIKE to be outside in the cold and that should be monitored. Both prefer indoors on hot and/or rainy days. The only training they could use is for leash-walks; they’ve always had a huge fenced backyard for exercise and play-time. They aren’t bad on leashes but they need consistent walks just for basics. Together Duke and Dodger can stay inside for 6-8 hour stretches of no one else is home; they’re not destructive and are potty-trained. Duke and Dodger have been loved, well treated and well-trained. The only reason for rehoming is their can’t spend adequate time with them due to recent changes in work hours. We know we will find a fantastic new Family for Duke & Dodger!
