I’m posting on behalf of Leia’s owners, who need to rehome her due to a serious medical diagnosis. They hope to find her a loving, stable home where she can thrive. Leia and her brother Luke (also available) have always been together; keeping them together is preferred but not required. Leia and Luke were found as stray puppies three years ago and adopted directly from me. Leia has grown up in a loving, well-socialized home with people and other dogs. Leia is sweet, playful, and full of personality. She is spunkier than Luke and may take a few days to warm up, but once comfortable her affectionate nature shines. She can be shy with new things but is loving and has never shown biting or aggression. Leia hasn’t been around children but would likely be shy rather than aggressive. Her response to cats is unknown, though she lived near a fence-line cat. Leia rides well in the car and is crate trained, dog-door trained, and e-collar trained. She completed professional training.

Luke is the calmer, more affectionate sibling. He loves people, enjoys being close to his humans, and is sweet, playful, and gentle. He can be shy with unfamiliar things and is sensitive to storms, but does well with his ThunderShirt (included). He has never shown aggression or biting behavior. This sweet and confident pup is enjoying the good life of endless snuggles and playtime. She has adjusted very well to house life and has already learned good manners with her new routine. She has learned so much under the guidance of her big foster brother and plays with him like they are the same size (13 lbs VS 70 lbs). Giggle is doing great with her leash training. She has gotten used to the leash attached to her collar, and is walking great with it on. She is a voracious eater and loves her treats. Giggle will easily climb the steps of success during training. And actual steps if there's a treat there! She is approximately 4 months old. T-Rex, or just REX, is 1 of 7 puppies from the TOY STORY litter that DSDA rescued from under a house in Greenville, Tx along with their gorgeous mom, Jessie. He is almost 5 months old and only 16 pounds- definitely the smallest of the litter-maybe a different dad here! He is settling into his foster home very nicely and enjoys the wise teachings of his foster fur siblings who are showing him the skills and manners of a spoiled house life. Rex is sleeping comfortably through the night in his crate and has proven himself to be catching on to house training like a PRO! He LOVES other dogs and toys and even engages in independent play or will seek out someone to play with him. Couch napping is also an enjoyable activity of his! Rex is an Australian Shepherd mix, and approximately 4 months old. And the tinniest of his littermates at only 16 pounds.
