IF YOU APPLY and if WE APPROVE YOU it means we are assuming when you meet any of our dogs and fall in love you're ready to ADOPT AND HIM OR HER HOME! Please meet Jack Frost, who’s popped into DASH just in time to hopefully find a home for the holidays and forever! Jack is a beautiful small standard Australian Shepherd with a tail that is beautiful! He’s got a modern amount of energy, very playful outside, but also snuggly and cuddly indoors. Jack is incredibly athletic; he will chase anything that you throw tennis ball, soccer ball, Chuck-It, whatever flies through the air; I’m not very good at frisbee, but I’m told that he’s excellent loves to learn any new sports that you want to teach! Jack super smart and a quick learner; he also really loves the water! Boats in the lake, lakes in general, on the shore or in a pool Jack has a blast, even if it’s only himself playing! On that note, Jack is fabulous that entertain entertaining himself; even when the other dogs have come inside, the door is open and he has a choice and he loves to toss toys around for himself in the yard as long as the weather is good and he knows someone is nearby. Jack really needs somebody with Aussie / Herding breed experience because initially he can be reactive to people he doesn’t know. However, he hasn’t had a long enough chance in his life yet to settle in and decompress and feel much more confident. The reason that Jack is needing rehoming is that his owner moved from her house to an RV life full-time. It’s so different than what Jack is used to, a large yard a safe privacy fence birds and squirrels to bark at and anything else you can think of in a home that’s truly stable for any dog. His owner loves him so much. She’s brokenhearted to make this decision, but we all know economically things are changing and we just want to be supportive of people who care enough to reach out to us to help rehome their dogs. Only had Jack for a few days and he just settled right in! There’s not often three fosters at one time in my house, but one has already been adopted and I expect Jack and jingle to be adopted soon. In the meantime, they are a terrific trio and this has been a great opportunity to play and learn alongside other dogs. So for Jack we are looking for a house with the yard and a privacy fence. He does his best with other dogs around so he can certainly be added to the pack. He’ll allow his place in the pack to be made known by established dogs and won’t bully any others. For now, Jack is out of the habit of leash walks, so we’ll need to work on that slowly hence the yard being the ideal playing in training place. He’s also very good at off leash, dog parks specific settings, where people are watching their fur family member members. If Jack sounds like a great match for you, we hope that you’ll apply for him by completing the application on our website below, then TEXT SARA: 214-549-9905 So I can check your app and get back to you!
