TWO NEW DOGS! Bonded brothers, boon companions, companions, playmates and less work for you!No one can play with a young dog better than another young dog! Darling Duke and Dodger are bonded brothers who are loving, playful, well-trained and adorable! Both boys are 2 years old and standard-Aussie size at 45-48 lbs. Dodger is mixed Aussie with German Shepherd but just as smart and more laid-back. They know several commands and are housebroken with a doorbell they ring to go outside! Both brothers are very sweet, smart, active, playful, affectionate, and love to cuddle. When Duke & Dodger are not on their squirrel-chasing missions outside they love to interact with their people, playing fetch, chasing toys and all other fun outdoor activities. Indoors they’ll snuggle with their people; 2 people give them each a cuddle-buddy. While napping on their bed or playing with each other they’ll gladly move into position for head scratches, booty pats and cuddling on the couch! With new people they still get excited to greet and make a new friend; they still have puppyish playful energy but are learning easily what they are allowed to do. A little guidance and compassion will go a long way! These Bonded Bros would do great in a home with Aussie-Savvy or older kids; anywhere that can provide lots of activities, outside playtime, and inside sleeping arrangements would be a wonderful home. They like squeaky toys and lick-mats. THRY LOVE THE OUTDOORS; the freezing weather was the best time of their year. The only training they could use is for leash-walks; they’ve always had a huge fenced backyard for exercise and play-time. They aren’t bad on leashes but they need consistent walks just for basics. Together Duke and Dodger can stay inside for 6-8 hour stretches of no one else is home; they’re not destructive and are potty-trained. Duke and Dodger have been loved, well treated and well-trained. The only reason for rehoming is their can’t spend adequate time with them due to recent changes in work hours. We know we will find a fantastic new Family for Duke & Dodger! Hi! I'm Gus! I'm sweet, playful, and love my squeaky toys. I love to get my belly scratched and cuddle with my humans. I am potty trained and crate trained! I still need a little bit of work on my leash, I just want to say hi to every animal and human passing by, after all I am still a puppy! But I do like saying hi to other dogs. I am working on all of my commands like sit, drop it, and stay. But I love love love treats—they really motivate me! I don't know how I feel about cats and kids yet because I haven't really been around any. I have lots and lots of energy and want to run and play and be active. I also really want to please my humans and do a good job. I have so much love to give! To meet sweet Gus, please turn in an application Questions? Email placement@thestreetdogproject.org. He will obey you and follow you wherever you go! Bodhi is about 3 years old; he’s very well trained, knows many commands and is a very eager learner. He’s treat-motivated and just wants to please you. Bodhi has a perfect energy level! He’s not a crazy off-the-wall Aussie, he is up for a walk or a catch or the dog park if you are BUT he’s also content to lie around on a rainy day or two (he’s with me and it’s raining so I know!) Bodhi is a lovable, snuggly Aussie who is a Velcro-dog; he wants to follow you EVERYWHERE! He’s realllllly looking to bond with someone and be a Co-Pilot, Wing-Man or Chick-Magnet. For a woman he’d be a BFF, Bed-Buddy and true companion. We’re looking for a home for Bodhi with adults whose dogs are their kiddos! Buddy lived with kids and adored them but he wasn’t crazy about all the chaos and friends in and out and changes. He’s already thriving at my house in just a few days! But I cannot keep him! So someone apply for this handsome, athletic and loving companion dog who is absolutely the perfect BODHI BUDDY! Story
MAGGIE IS A TRUE "HEINZ 57" DOG. Her DNA shows Australian Shepherd, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Lab, Siberian Husky, Miniature American Shepherd, and several others!! She is under two years of age and weighs about 52 pounds. She is only slightly above the "medium" size but she is TALL so we chose to put her in the "large" category. MAGGIE IS TRULY ONE IN A MILLION! She ADORES other dogs and we are hoping she will be adopted by an active family that has another SWEET and playful dog. We have videos we can send you of her playing! Maggie has such a loving temperament she would be find with children. As with most dogs that end up in rescue, she had a sad and unfortunate past. But someone stood up for her and we were able to send her to Wiggle Butt Academy to learn how to be a dog and to learn to trust people. For more information on this beautiful and sweet girl, please email can.adoptions@yahoo.com.

Story
If you are looking for handsome, smart, sweet, as well as dog and people friendly then you might just be looking for Biscuit! Our natural poser is 52 pounds, approximately 2 years old, and a red and cream fluffy beauty!    Biscuit is a confessed toy hoarder and skilled basketball player! He enjoys a good game of fetch and when he tires makes a great office mate. He is, of course, crate, house and leash trained!  Biscuit's forever home needs a fenced yard and another playful female dog as well as an adopter home more than not. A working from home parent who enjoys walking their pup is ideal.   To meet Biscuit in person submit our online application at www.DSDA.org/adopt.  ADOPTION FEE Covers: Core vaccines plus Lepto and Flu, all boosters, microchip, dewormer until clear fecal test & spay or neuter when completed by a DSDA vet partner plus any necessary medical care.  All dogs are on flea, tick and heartworm prevention and you receive the following month's preventatives complementary with your adoption!  * Adoption Fees: Puppies (12 months and under) - $325  Dogs (over 12 months) - $275  Qualifications for Adoption:  No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.  Must be home more than not. Vet checks are required! All resident pets in the applicant's home MUST be spayed or neutered, core vaccines up to date and dogs on heartworm prevention to be considered! No exceptions.  Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address. Must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household. Must receive proof of pet deposit and lease allowing pets if renting. Willingness and capacity to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and responsible care for a pet. All poisonous plants must be removed from the yard.  DSDA is located in Dallas and requires a home visit on every adoption so only adopt to Dallas and surrounding areas. ##1939723##
