Harvey is a very handsome Aussie that needs another home.  His owner has five small children and it is too much for Harvey and causing him anxiety.  He is about 8 years old and he needs  a calm home. He would love lots of human contact and another dog would be great too but not a necessity.  He is still active and sweet.  He is certainly housebroken and a great best friend. He is smart, typical to his breed, and very warm and protective to the family, which includes a 9 MO, 2 YR, 4 YR, and 6 YR old. BLUE is a perfect size for a medium standard Aussie just 45lbs so he’s great to take places hop in and out of the car sit with a person or two at an outdoor venue. BLUE is the definition of a in Australian Shepherd; he is the quintessential Velcro Aussie, who wants to follow his person or people everywhere and anywhere they go. He’s absolutely loyal and loving to humans but is better with teenagers or adults, not little children. BLUE loves to play games outside he can catch a frisbee. He loves to fetch a ball and bring it back to you, but his initial response to a new home is going to be wanting to be with the humans as much as possible. BLUE also knows lots of basic commands and is food driven as well as praise motivated to work on commands and learn new tricks. This guy is absolutely eager to please beyond measure! As far as other BLUE is a terrific playmate for an equally moderate canine companion; he would probably also be happy to be the only dog, but for someone who is around most of the time someone who works from home, empty-nesters or young retirees who would enjoy leash walking him. BLUEs energy is quite adjustable because as well as outdoor activities and leash walks. He’s also happy to lie at your feet if you’re working on the laptop or sit next to you while you’re watching TV or a movie - he really just wants humans to hang out with! I’m posting on behalf of Luke’s owners, who are seeking to rehome him due to a serious medical diagnosis. They hope to find him a loving, stable home where he can thrive. Luke and his sister Leia (also available) have always been together, and keeping them together would be ideal, though they can be separated if needed. Luke and Leia were found as stray puppies three years ago and adopted directly from me. Luke has since grown up in a loving home, well socialized with people and other dogs. Luke is the calmer, more affectionate sibling. He loves people, enjoys being close to his humans, and is sweet, playful, and gentle. He can be shy with unfamiliar things and is sensitive to storms, but does well with his ThunderShirt (included). He has never shown aggression or biting behavior. Luke rides well in the car and is crate trained, dog-door trained, electronic-collar trained, and professionally trained.

Her response to cats is unknown, though she lived near a fence-line cat. Leia rides well in the car and is crate trained, dog-door trained, and e-collar trained. She completed professional training.

Meet Jasper! A soulful three-and-a-half-year-old Border Collie/Rottweiler mix currently in Colorado Springs, CO, whose calm, loving heart is wrapped in a stunning 70-pound merle coat. With the gentle spirit of a wise old friend and the quiet loyalty of a true companion, Jasper is the kind of dog who will melt into your side on a cozy evening and follow you room to room just to be close. Jasper thrives in peaceful surroundings and forms deep, meaningful bonds with his people. He does well around children and enjoys their company, but he would do best with calm or older kids who understand boundaries and know how to treat him gently. He may bark or lunge when he sees them, especially near fences or in close proximity, and he continues to work through that with training and patient support. That said, he’s done well with familiar dogs in controlled settings, showing that he can feel safe with the right structure and trust. He’s happiest in a home with a fenced-in yard and a caregiver who values companionship, consistency, and quiet. Loud noises can startle him, but with reassurance, he settles easily. Jasper isn’t just a dog, he’s a constant companion, a quiet presence, and a gentle soul waiting for someone to see the beauty in his sensitive heart.
