Luckily they ran right up to the porch of a very kind family, who reached out to a local shelter, who reached out to DASH to see if we could help find them forever homes!   They’ve done beautifully in foster care together where they’ve become wonderful indoor pet dogs! They’re active and playful and they’re not nearly as “mouthy” as you would expect for 12 week old puppies.   Both girls are housebroken and crate trained/puppy pen trained several hours at a time. They’re on a good feeding schedule. They go potty right afterward.   Paisley and Presley don’t have to be adopted together, but we absolutely want each puppy to go to a home where there is another playful, young dog; if you’re applying and you don’t have another dog to play with, please choose another dog. We have other Aussies and mixes who could be single dogs, but these girls need and deserve playmates as they’re used to having another round to play with and entertain them.    The girls are just what you’d expect from herding dog puppies; they’re extremely smart, very agile, loving, eager, please food, motivated, and interested and curious about everything around them. Beautiful Bella Bear BELLA BEAR is the sweetest girl! She's extremely smart and she knows how to pick up on cues easily. She it’s so cute and cuddly sometimes she looks like a little bear cub, a perfect snuggle sister for humans or for a male companion dog.     Bella knows several commands, including :  sit, stay, wait, leave it, drop it, go potty, and come here (sometimes, she may give you a paw if you hold your hand out) but she can still be trained because she loves treats!    Bella loves toys that she can destroy, a chew toy from time to time but what she enjoys most of all is a game of fetch! She will not play outside by herself in a backyard -- you MUST come play with her. She does know the difference between her own toys that she can play with and your belongings.   Bella loves walking/jogging on leash alongside her people; she loves being outside for any reason! She loves belly rubs, and in return, loves to give kisses of affection. He’s highly food-motivated and eager to learn, which makes training both fun and rewarding. In fact, he’s so clever that he’s even figured out how to open doors with pull-down handles!    Once he learns how to do something he won’t forget it; usually this is in your best interest, but if it’s in Edison’s, he’ll quickly learn when you teach him another way/ YOUR way!   This sweet boy is very devoted to his people and loves being part of the family. If someone leaves the room, Ed will often wait patiently by the door or try to follow them. When his people are in different places, he may happily trot back and forth between them to make sure everyone is still together. Eddie’s favorite moments are when the whole family is in the same place.   Like all Aussies at 9m old, Eddie is still very much a playful puppy.  He loves carrying things around in his mouth—blankets, sleeves, or anything he can grab—and gets especially excited about toys and chew items. Plastic bottles are one of his favorite things to chomp on, and he enjoys interactive playtime that keeps him busy and engaged. They’re active and playful and they’re not nearly as “mouthy” as you would expect for 12 week old puppies.   Both girls are housebroken and crate trained/puppy pen trained several hours at a time. They’re on a good feeding schedule. They go potty right afterward.   Paisley and Presley don’t have to be adopted together, but we absolutely want each puppy to go to a home where there is another playful, young dog; if you’re applying and you don’t have another dog to play with, please choose another dog. We have other Aussies and mixes who could be single dogs, but these girls need and deserve playmates as they’re used to having another round to play with and entertain them.    The girls are just what you’d expect from herding dog puppies; they’re extremely smart, very agile, loving, eager, please food, motivated, and interested and curious about everything around them. Meet Jasper! A soulful three-and-a-half-year-old Border Collie/Rottweiler mix currently in Colorado Springs, CO, whose calm, loving heart is wrapped in a stunning 70-pound merle coat. With the gentle spirit of a wise old friend and the quiet loyalty of a true companion, Jasper is the kind of dog who will melt into your side on a cozy evening and follow you room to room just to be close. Jasper thrives in peaceful surroundings and forms deep, meaningful bonds with his people. He does well around children and enjoys their company, but he would do best with calm or older kids who understand boundaries and know how to treat him gently. Loud or high-energy play can make him uneasy, so a respectful home environment will help him feel safe and content. He’s a mellow guy who doesn’t need much to be happy: a soft spot to relax, the comforting presence of his caregiver, and maybe a treat puzzle or two to keep his brain engaged. Food-motivated and clever, Jasper knows a delightful list of commands like sit, stay, paw, spin, and even “middle”, a trick that’s as cute as it sounds! He’s fully house-trained, crate-trained, and perfectly content when left alone, making him a great match for someone who works from home or has a flexible schedule. While Jasper doesn’t require intense exercise, he does enjoy slow, sniffy walks where he can take in the world at his own pace. His favorite pastime? After being involved in two traumatic incidents with unfamiliar dogs, one when he was a puppy and another more recently, Jasper has developed a strong reactivity to dogs he doesn't know. He may bark or lunge when he sees them, especially near fences or in close proximity, and he continues to work through that with training and patient support. That said, he’s done well with familiar dogs in controlled settings, showing that he can feel safe with the right structure and trust. He’s happiest in a home with a fenced-in yard and a caregiver who values companionship, consistency, and quiet. Loud noises can startle him, but with reassurance, he settles easily. Jasper isn’t just a dog, he’s a constant companion, a quiet presence, and a gentle soul waiting for someone to see the beauty in his sensitive heart.
