Story
Blue is an Aussie mix, he is very social and loves to play, Blue needs an active owner and a yard, with a fence, not suited for apartment Blue is very energetic, he likes other dogs but plays rough. He would need to be paired with a patient dog who can put up with his immature behavior, he doesn&#39t always read cues to stop playing. His potty training has progressed significantly but he does still have accidents in the kennel occasionally. His personality is super loving and sweet, but he is mischievous and likes to be the life of the party and is still very much a puppy. Blue push boundaries and see how much he can get away with so he will need a strong leader. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meetNovember 26, 2025, 11:46 am

Story
Pegasus is 5 years old and was born on a ranch in Central Texas to one Aussie and one Border Collie parent. He lived his first 4 years in with a family of 4 kids and his brother on a large piece of property. Our move last year has them living in a suburb with a small yard. Pegaus enjoys exploring, playing fetch, and lots of head scratches and cuddles. He is good with kids and is not agressive. He loves people and does jump up on new people he thinks have come to play with him. Barking at squirrels/birds, dogs walking by (we live right behind the walk path), the garbage man and other city things have pushed us to look at rehoming. He is a great dog, but our house and yard are just too small. Because we live in a smaller area, they cannot explore and run free. They have gotten in trouble with the HOA for barking. Pegasus would do so well with more space, but also enjoys being inside with the family. He loves walks and hikes. We want him to live his best life with more space to roam!

Story
💌 Dear My Future Valentine, Hi there… my name is Dustin, and I’m a 4-month-old puppy with a very sweet face and a slightly mischievous heart. 💘 At first glance, I might seem like the laid-back, easygoing guy - calm, cool, and innocent. But don’t be fooled… that’s all part of my plan. 😇 I’ve got a silly personality, a cute little stubborn streak, and just enough persistence to see if I can maybe get away with something I’m not supposed to do. (I mean, it never hurts to try, right?) 😏 I’m learning my manners and doing really well with potty training, and every day I get a little better. 👏 I’m smart, curious, and always watching to see how things work. When I’m not testing boundaries, I’m being sweet, snuggly, and charming - basically the whole Valentine package! I’m still just a puppy, which means I’m learning, growing, and figuring out the world one paw at a time. What I really need is a patient, loving family who will guide me, laugh with me, and maybe forgive me when I give them that look after doing something questionable. (You know that look!) 🥹 If you’re looking for a Valentine who will make you smile, keep life interesting, and love you with his whole puppy heart, I think we could be a perfect match. Love (and a little mischief), Dustin 🐾❤️ ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://iamdogrescue.org/adoption-application/ ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** Our adoption fee is $175. We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to match dogs with families that will be a good fit to help ensure a successful adoption. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason. Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference is required, and a trial period will be completed before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.

Story
💌 Dear Future Valentine, Hi! My name is Stevie, and I’m just about 4 months old, cute as a button, and ready to give you 110% of my heart. I’m a happy, enthusiastic puppy who approaches life with excitement, curiosity, and a little bit of sass. I’m silly, playful, and full of joy, but don’t worry, I listen well and learn fast. When I’m corrected, I try really hard to do better because making my people proud is kind of my thing. I love other dogs and would be thrilled to have pup friends to play with, learn from, and cuddle up next to when the day winds down. Every day is an adventure to me, and I’m always wagging my way into the next fun moment. I’m still growing, still learning, and still discovering the world, but one thing I already know for sure is that I have a lot of love to give. If you’re looking for a Valentine who will make you laugh, keep you smiling, and love you with her whole puppy heart, I think we might be a perfect match. So what do you say? This Valentine’s Day, could we start our forever together? Love always, Stevie 🐾💖 ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://iamdogrescue.org/adoption-application/ ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** Our adoption fee is $175. Or copy and paste this link into your browser...https://form.jotform.us/asr628/ShortAdoptionInquiryThis is the fast way to meeting your new pet.Introducing the handsome and gentle Denver! This sweet boy was adopted from Apollo as a puppy but has found his way back to us after his family had to move into an apartment. Denver is a perfect gentleman indoors—he’s house-trained, doesn’t chew on things he shouldn’t, and simply loves to lay next to you, ready to be your faithful buddy. Now, at the age of 9, Denver’s ideal home would feature a structured routine, and he’s eager to work with someone who can help him grow with additional training. He’s incredibly smart and treat-motivated, so training sessions will be both fun and rewarding! Denver already knows some basic commands (sit, shake, down, stay, wait) and loves to show them off—he’s ready to impress you!Denver walks beautifully on a leash and is always up for a stroll. While he may initially be wary of new people, he’s been friendly with all the staff members at our rescue, proving that he has a kind heart deep down. Denver wasn’t around dogs in his previous home, but he’s been doing great with friendly pups at the rescue. We do recommend slow, proper introductions for any new dog companions he may have in his forever home.Denver is longing for a loving family that will appreciate his quiet nature and cuddle-loving ways! If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will rest his head on your lap and shower you with affection, Denver could be the perfect match for you. Come meet this wonderful boy at our rescue facility in Justin, and see for yourself what an amazing addition he could be to your life!Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date on heart-worm and flea/tick preventative, heartworm test which includes tick disease testing (if over 6 months), 24Petwatch microchip with registration, fecal analysis and health check before adoption, and spayed or neutered-if not already, a voucher is provided which will cover the cost. If you are adopting a puppy all puppy vaccines are covered as well.
