Sydney is a tri-colored 6-7 year old female miniature Aussie. She has been spayed and weighs 28 pounds. She still needs to be vetted. Sydney is housebroken, walks good on the leash, gets along well with cats and dogs. She has not been around kids that she knows of. Sydney is not crate trained and the owner does not allow her to sleep on the bed with her. She does not have a fenced in yard but is used to being tether in order to spend free time outdoors. The reason for the surrender is that the Mom found out her daughter that has a mental illness was living in her car with Sydney and rescued the dog. She is unable to care for the dog at this time. Sparkie is Australian Shepherd mixed with Lab. He weighed in at 65 lbs and he just turned 1 yr old. Sparky is doing great in his new foster home! He's so sweet and loving. Even though he wasn't house trained he hasn't had a single accident- he holds it until he is outside. He's calm and loving and smart. Sparkie is great with my dogs and plays with them. He's a shadow and follows me everywhere. Sparkie gobbles his meals right down. He's going to be a really tough one to let go to his new home. Sparkie was shy at first but warms up very quickly. He wants to be next to you at all times in case you need something or you just want to pet him. He hasn't had any accidents in the house. He loves other dogs. He's very playful. He'd be great with kids. He's food motivated. He's great in a crate. He loves to chew on dog bones and shares with the other dogs. He's absolutely amazing! Sparkie is located in Antioch IL. My name is Bandit but my foster mom calls him Nugget is 11 lbs.  I love to play also but I am also very happy just sitting on your lap or next to you and observe.  I love giving kisses. My brother's name is Smokey but my foster mom calls me Scout (the one with white on the back of my neck), I weigh 11 lbs and I am very investigative.   As you can see we are small but can hold our own even with the big dogs. Our father was Mini Australian Shepherd and mom was a Jack Russell Terrier. We love to go for walks on the leash in the neighborhood to explore. We are between 4 and 5 months old. Let me introduce you to your new best friend! A gentle man in every sense of the word; the Amazing, wonderful, loyal and fun-loving Gunner. Gunner has learned so much since he has been in his foster home. Gunner is a 2 ½ year old male Australian Shepherd mix, weighing in at 40 lbs. He is fully vetted, neutered and microchipped. This guy is the full package: Gunner is fully house trained, leash trained, and crate trained. He will sit quietly at the door to go outside. He is trained in the following commands: come, sit, kennel it, off and go home. His foster will be happy to share the hand signal commands that she uses and Gunner responds to. This guy is like a sponge, very curious, smart and quick to learn new things. He has also learned to read facial expressions. He gets super excited and smiles BIG when you grab his leash and harness. When I leave the house, he automatically goes to his crate. At night he sleeps on his bed in the living room. This handsome, gentle guy LOVES people, other dogs (not cats) and ESPECIALLY the kids (his favorite). Let’s not forget those amazing belly rubs. WHAT’S NOT TO LOVE, right?! Gunner LOVES to run free in a fenced yard. He will also do fine on a cable lead and cable that extends from tree to tree and/or a long line staked in the yard, if not fenced in. He loves play, catch and retrieve and brings it back whether it be balls or frisbees. He also LOVES to go for long walks! Gunner is ready and searching for his forever home!
