Story
Happy Harlow is looking for her fur-ever home! She was found on the side of the road in Kentucky and is acclimating to her new cushy life very well. She is friendly, affectionate, and can’t wait to meet you! She enjoys getting her head scratched and gently ‘pawing’ her favorite people for more pets & attention. Harlow loves following her foster mom & dad all around the house and enjoys sitting
on foster mom’s lap while she works. She gets along with our resident dog, but she seems to be more taken to her foster humans. She is a pup who enjoys the finer things in life, and she sure deserves them!
She loves being outside and would be a great addition to an individual or family that would enjoy taking her on walks and adventures around town. She also enjoys cozying up to her humans on the couch at the end of the day. She is good with dogs - unsure about kids & cats as we don’t have them. When she sees a dog or squirrel on the street, however, she likes to bark & say hi (prey drive could be an area of opportunity for her!) She is potty-trained and sleeps through the night in our bed without a peep (she isn’t a fan of kennels, so her new family would need to work with this on her if they are interested in kenneling her) but she is a perfect free-roamer and doesn’t chew or get into trouble when we leave
her out.
Harlow is very smart & a fast learner and is picking up on tricks like ‘sit’ very quickly. She is a slow eater who prefers to graze on her kibble throughout the day. Harlow is so happy to be in Minnesota and will be so grateful to have a loving home. She will be a great fit for anyone with an open heart. Will you be her safe place to land?
Harlow is estimated to be 1 year old and 16 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
