Story
Meet Tucker 🐾🤎🤍Tucker is an adorable four-year-old beagle with a big personality packed into a small package. Though he may be fully grown, this little guy is on the petite side, making him the perfect size for cuddles, adventures, and everything in between.Like any true beagle, Tucker is led by his nose and loves to spend his days sniffing, exploring, and investigating every interesting scent he can find. The world is one big adventure in Tucker’s eyes, and he approaches each day with curiosity and enthusiasm. Whether he's checking out the yard or exploring a new walking route, he's always excited to see what treasures his nose might uncover. One of Tucker’s favorite things is attention from people. He’ll happily jump up to say hello and soak up all the pets and affection you’re willing to give. He’s an incredibly sweet boy who enjoys being around his humans and making new friends wherever he goes.Tucker does enjoy cuddling, but only for a little while. Once he's gotten his fill of snuggles, he's ready to get back to the important business of exploring the world around him. His playful, curious nature keeps life fun and entertaining, and there’s never a dull moment when Tucker is around.Because of his adventurous spirit, Tucker is quite the escape artist and will need a family that can keep a close eye on him and provide a secure environment. If there’s a scent worth following, Tucker will do his best detective work to track it down!Tucker is looking for a family who will appreciate his sweet nature, encourage his love of adventure, and provide plenty of opportunities for sniffing and exploring. In return, he’ll bring endless smiles, companionship, and plenty of beagle charm into your life.If you're looking for a lovable little explorer with a heart full of affection, Tucker is waiting to meet you. 💖📍 730 Church Street New Kensington, PA📝 Adoption Application: https://form.jotform.com/213275062626049📧 adoptions@animalprotectors.net📞 (724) 339-7388

Story
Melly is just a huge love bug. He adores cuddling in warm, cozy spots and wants all the affection you can give. He’s an old soul who thrives on close companionship. Melly is wonderful with children, but he needs a calm, peaceful household at this stage of life.He likes to stay within eyesight and will experience separation anxiety when left alone. Preferably someone who works from home and can take him everywhere, as he CANNOT be left alone due to his separation anxiety. Another dog in the home would likely keep him calm and give companionship for the potential of leaving him. He’s fully house- and crate-trained. Melly has a history of Lyme disease, so his joints occasionally bother him—especially during cold or rainy weather—but he manages well with love and proper care.Melly is gun shy and CANNOT be used as a hunting dog.PLEASE SERIOUS INQUIRES ONLY!

PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org 🐾 👑 Meet Sir Henry! 🐾 Greetings, loyal subjects! My name is Sir Henry, and while I may only be 4 months old, I already carry myself like royalty. Don't worry though—I'm the fun kind of prince, not the stuffy kind. I'm a social, outgoing puppy who believes everyone is a friend I just haven't met yet. People, dogs, adventures—sign me up! I love making new friends and am always ready to join in on whatever fun is happening. My mom is a Beagle/Heeler mix, and we think my dad was a Carolina Dog, which means I inherited the perfect blend of brains, athleticism, and good looks. I'm curious about the world, eager to learn, and always on the lookout for my next great adventure. One thing you should know about me: I absolutely LOVE water. Kiddie pool? Amazing. Water bowl splashes? Fantastic. Puddles? The greatest invention of all time. If it involves getting my paws wet, I'm all in. I'm wonderful with other dogs and would love a canine sibling to play with, but I'd also be happy soaking up all the attention as your one and only royal companion. Sir Henry's Royal Resume: 👑 4 months old 👑 Male 👑 Social and outgoing 👑 Great with other dogs 👑 Loves water 👑 Smart, curious, and playful 👑 Ready for a lifetime of adventures If you're looking for a puppy who will keep you laughing, keep you active, and happily accompany you on every adventure, Sir Henry is ready to claim his throne in your heart. Just be warned—once you meet him, you'll be under his royal spell. ❤️🐾👑

Story
KYRA 2 years LYRA 1 year Attributes Bonded pair Dog friendly Adult-only home Not best for apartments Housetrained Need a fenced yard Kyra and Lyra are a beautiful, young, bonded pair of small girls who are ready to find a loving home together. They came from a breeder situation and are now discovering how wonderful life in a home can be. With each passing day in their foster home, they continue to grow in confidence and show just how special they are. These two are inseparable and share a sweet, devoted bond—they truly do everything together. Kyra, about 2 years old, is the more confident of the pair. Whether it’s heading outside or settling in for bedtime, she helps show Lyra the way. Kyra is curious and gently explores her surroundings, and once she feels comfortable, she enjoys back scratches, belly rubs, treats, and even following her foster family around. She loves cozy spots—whether that’s by your feet, on the couch, or snuggled up with a dog friend. Lyra, around 1½ years old, is a thoughtful and observant girl who still requires encouragement from Kyra and other dogs. While she is reserved, she is clearly interested in connecting and has already made progress—taking treats by hand and choosing to rest near her foster mom. With time and patience, her sweet personality will continue to shine through. Both girls have made good strides since arriving in foster care. They are learning to relax, enjoy a predictable routine, and feel safe in their environment. Because of this, they would do best in a home in a quiet suburban or rural neighborhood – apartment living and the hustle and bustle of city life is not for them! They would prefer an adult-only home, but a quiet home with calm, older children might also be a viable option. Car rides are not on their list of favorite things to do, but hopefully over time they will learn that car rides can lead to fun. They love having cozy spaces to unwind and will happily play, run, and wrestle together when they think no one is watching! Their playful side really comes out with each other and with other friendly dogs. Kyra and Lyra are housetrained with only occasional accidents and do best with regular outdoor access, so a fenced yard will help them continue to succeed. They haven’t yet learned leash walking but are making progress every day in building trust and confidence. These gentle, loving girls are looking for a patient and understanding home that will continue to nurture their growth. In return, they will offer a special bond—not only with each other, but with the lucky family who gives them the chance to fully blossom into the happy, loving companions they are meant to be. NOTE: Dogs may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

Story
Milo (and his brother, Ace) are both looking for their forever home due to the passing of their former owner. They are currently residing at the Long Run Pet Hospital in Wheeling, WV, where they were surrendered.  Milo is 2 years old and a beagle/bulldog mix -- known as a Beabull. This breed mix is active, playful and make great companions and family dogs for an active person or family. Both Milo and Ace exhibit the quintessential beagle/mix with the happy personality and attentive tail to show enthusiasm. Milo is very energetic, curious and does well on a leash. He loves attention and returns it with a big smile.  Milo is a sturdy boy that would make a great companion for someone who not only commits to providing lots of playtime but also loves to snuggle and go for long walks for "all the sniffs." He would benefit from basic obedience classes to teach him good manners. He should do well with another dog of his size and playstyle but is far too energetic for cats and toddlers. Older, dog-savvy children may very well enjoy this beautiful boys as a snuggle buddy. Milo's soft, floppy ears and doggy smile are guaranteed to bring joy and laughter into your life. Milo is a courtesy post for the Long Run Pet Hospital. For more information or to arrange a meet, please call Long Run at 304-232-2605. May 12, 2025, 12:57 pm
