Story
ARYA: Border Collie Mix | Spayed Female | 1 Year Old | 24 lbs Meet ARYA, a sweet and affectionate Border Collie mix who is ready to discover what a loving home truly feels like. ARYA is a friendly, gentle, and happy girl who loves being around people and sharing her affection. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, enjoys children, and has a playful, active personality. ARYA loves toys, exploring, going for car rides, and watching the world go by. She adapts easily to new situations, is not anxious, does not bark excessively, and is a wonderful companion. Her loving and docile nature makes her a special girl who simply wants to be close to the people who care for her. ARYA’s past was very difficult. She spent much of her early life confined to a cage, without the love, attention, and care every dog deserves. When she was finally given freedom, she showed how happy and grateful she is to experience life. She now enjoys every moment, looking for kindness, companionship, and a family who will show her what love feels like. ARYA is waiting for a forever home where she can continue to grow, play, and be loved every day. In the canine heart, there is always hope. Every dog deserves a safe and loving home. Adopt a rescue dog today; we are their voice! If you think you can provide a great home for ARYA, please contact: Reyna Email: miracledogrescue@gmail.com Ph: 323-383-8883

Story
Meet Lana Female DOB: April 18, 2025 Weight: 30 lbs Breed: Border Collie / Terrier Mix Spayed (Fixed): Yes Vaccines: Up to Date Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Personality, Breed Info & Expectations Lana is a bright, affectionate, and energetic young dog who loves being part of the family. She has a happy personality and enjoys spending her days exploring, playing, and making new friends. Whether she's out on an adventure, learning something new, or relaxing beside her favorite people, Lana is happiest when she's included in everyday life. As a Border Collie / Terrier Mix, Lana combines the remarkable intelligence and eagerness to learn of the Border Collie with the confidence, curiosity, and spirited personality of the Terrier. She is quick to pick up new skills and enjoys activities that keep both her mind and body engaged. Positive reinforcement, consistency, and plenty of encouragement will help her reach her full potential. Lana enjoys staying active and would thrive with regular walks, interactive play, puzzle toys, hiking, or training games that allow her to use her intelligence. She also has a loving, affectionate side and enjoys relaxing with her family after a fun-filled day. Lana would thrive in a home prepared for: Daily exercise and active play Continued positive reinforcement training Mental stimulation and enrichment Structure, consistency, and routine Plenty of companionship and family interaction A lifelong commitment to her emotional and physical well-being She is at a wonderful age where she has the playful enthusiasm of a young dog while continuing to mature into a loyal, well-mannered companion. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Like many rescue dogs, Lana may need time to adjust to a new home, routine, and environment. Even friendly, social dogs benefit from patience and consistency during the transition period. Most rescue dogs arrive with varying levels of training, so adopters should be prepared to continue reinforcing household manners and routines. Lana is intelligent, eager to please, and responds exceptionally well to positive reinforcement, making training both rewarding and enjoyable. Lana will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Daily structure and routine Continued socialization and exposure Mental stimulation through interactive games and learning opportunities Regular exercise to help channel her energy Patience and consistency Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience, love, and guidance, Lana will blossom into a confident, devoted, and lifelong companion. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes training, exercise, companionship, and routine veterinary care. Lana will need: Daily walks, exercise, and active play Routine veterinary care and wellness exams Preventative care including flea, tick, and parasite prevention Proper nutrition and weight management Continued training and mental enrichment A safe, stable indoor living environment Consistent veterinary care, regular exercise, emotional support, and daily companionship will help Lana live a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life. Lana is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside. Story
Sara Jessica Parker COH didn't arrive looking for attention-she arrived looking for understanding. At 2 years old, this Border Collie Mix is a thoughtful, observant girl who likes to take her time getting comfortable with new people. She's not the rush in and greet everyone type-instead, she prefers to watch, learn the rhythm of a home, and decide on her own terms when she's ready to trust. Once she does, her quiet loyalty starts to shine in a steady, meaningful way. With other dogs, she feels much more at ease and tends to lean into their confidence, making canine companions a great support system for her as she settles in. She would do best with adopters who understand that the best bonds aren't always instant-they're built patiently, one small moment at a time. Surrendered by her owner, Sara Jessica Parker is now looking for a home that won't rush her story, but will let it unfold naturally. In the right environment, she has all the potential to become a deeply connected and devoted companion-just at her own pace. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. Please find our application at lovejoyfoundation.org when you come to an event please bring that filled out in hand with you. You can find our application at Lovejoyfoundation.org. Please note a Petfinder and Adoptapet Inquiry is not applying for the dog. You have to come to the event or send an email inquiry to our records email.
