Story
Journey is a 1-2 year old female Border Collie mix. Journey found us after wandering our neighborhood for several days. Once we were able to get her into the safety of our backyard she warmed up quickly! Journey is great with people of all ages and loves playing with other dogs. She’s very sweet and playful pup! Journey loves walks, playing with the hose in the backyard, and playing with other dogs/people. Our vet estimates she is between 1-2 years old. She is fully vaccinated and likely spayed. She responds quickly to training and loves snacks! Journey’s looking for an active home with room to play, and would do well in a home with another dog and a yard. She’s also great with kids. If you love hiking or biking she will be an INCREDIBLE companion. Journey loves to snuggle and is also potty and crate trained. She’ll be your best good friend if you let her. 💜

Any large breed/working dog lovers here?! Lucky needs a forever home! Rancho Cordova, CA Please help us welcome Lucky! Lucky may not be like our usual GLAR recruits (as in tiny, and often of the chihuahua variety ) but we are so glad to help her just the same. One of our fantastic volunteers has been fostering her alone without the help of a rescue, and needs more help making sure Lucky is seen! Lucky is 7 months old, weighs approximately 30lbs, and has all the zest for life (think Buddy the Elf ). She is some sort of Border Collie mix and is beautiful! She has all the puppy energy and needs a job. (As a result, we will only consider applicants who have experience with working breeds, and those who can provide a plan to help ensure Lucky’s needs will be met.) Lucky is fully vaccinated and will be microchipped and spayed prior to adoption. She is anxiously awaiting her forever person to form that special bond. We believe Momo would love being in any loving environment. Or better yet, a place that gives him a purpose or job even. He would be great when well-trained.
