This sweet girl is a fetch fanatic who lives for playtime and loves nothing more than chasing balls with her favorite humans. She’s both treat and toy motivated and ready to learn new tricks. Montana gets along fine with other dogs, but she’s truly a people-focused pup who wants to be your number-one play partner. On a recent Doggie Day Out adventure, she proved to be a calm car passenger and a wonderful trail companion. She enjoys sniffy walks and likes to lead the way without pulling on the leash. Though Montana can be a little shy when meeting new people, she warms up quickly with patience (and a few tasty treats). Lucky may not be like our usual GLAR recruits (as in tiny, and often of the chihuahua variety ) but we are so glad to help her just the same. One of our fantastic volunteers has been fostering her alone without the help of a rescue, and needs more help making sure Lucky is seen! Lucky is 7 months old, weighs approximately 30lbs, and has all the zest for life (think Buddy the Elf ). She is some sort of Border Collie mix and is beautiful! She has all the puppy energy and needs a job. (As a result, we will only consider applicants who have experience with working breeds, and those who can provide a plan to help ensure Lucky’s needs will be met.)
