Story
ARYA: Border Collie Mix | Spayed Female | 1 Year Old | 24 lbs Meet ARYA, a sweet and affectionate Border Collie mix who is ready to discover what a loving home truly feels like. ARYA is a friendly, gentle, and happy girl who loves being around people and sharing her affection. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, enjoys children, and has a playful, active personality. ARYA loves toys, exploring, going for car rides, and watching the world go by. She adapts easily to new situations, is not anxious, does not bark excessively, and is a wonderful companion. Her loving and docile nature makes her a special girl who simply wants to be close to the people who care for her. ARYA’s past was very difficult. She spent much of her early life confined to a cage, without the love, attention, and care every dog deserves. When she was finally given freedom, she showed how happy and grateful she is to experience life. She now enjoys every moment, looking for kindness, companionship, and a family who will show her what love feels like. ARYA is waiting for a forever home where she can continue to grow, play, and be loved every day. In the canine heart, there is always hope. Every dog deserves a safe and loving home. Adopt a rescue dog today; we are their voice! If you think you can provide a great home for ARYA, please contact: Reyna Email: miracledogrescue@gmail.com Ph: 323-383-8883

Story
Meet Gordoloba Left Behind When Her Family Moved Away—Now She's Hoping Someone Will Never Leave Her Again ❤️ Breed: Border Collie Mix Gender: Female | DOB: Approximately 2018 (8 years old) | Weight/Size: 51 pounds    Medium-Large) Good With: Dogs ✔️ | Cats: Unknown | Kids ✔️ Medical: ✔️ Spayed | ✔️ Vaccinations Up to Date | ✔️ Microchipped Location: Los Angeles, California Transportation: Ozzie and Friends Rescue provides safe transportation to approved adopters throughout the United States. https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions ❤️ Personality, Breed Information & Gordoloba's Story Gordoloba knows what it feels like to have a home—and what it feels like to lose one. She belonged to a family she trusted. But when they moved away, they left her behind to fend for herself. Overnight, the only life she had ever known disappeared. Confused and heartbroken, Gordoloba stayed near her old home, faithfully waiting for the people she loved to return. They never came back. Gordoloba is an incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate companion. She has a calm, loving personality and simply enjoys being close to her people. Whether she's joining you for a leisurely walk, relaxing beside you while you read a book, or happily lying at your feet after a long day, Gordoloba is happiest when she's with the people she loves. She is not aggressive and has a wonderfully gentle temperament that makes her an excellent companion for families, couples, or anyone looking for a loyal best friend. As a Border Collie Mix, Gordoloba combines the intelligence and devotion Border Collies are known for with the balanced temperament often found in mixed breeds. At eight years old, she has outgrown the high-energy puppy stage but still enjoys daily walks, exploring new places, and spending quality time with her family. She would thrive with someone who wants a loving companion to share life's simple moments. Gordoloba would thrive in a home that offers: Daily walks and light to moderate exercise Plenty of affection and companionship Positive reinforcement and gentle guidance A comfortable bed and a peaceful home A consistent daily routine Patience while she adjusts to her new family A lifetime of love, security, and commitment After everything she's been through, Gordoloba isn't looking for anything extravagant. She simply wants a family who will love her forever and keep the promise that she'll never be left behind again. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Although Gordoloba is a mature adult, every rescue dog needs time to adjust to a new home. New surroundings, unfamiliar routines, and different experiences can feel overwhelming at first, even for gentle dogs like Gordoloba. Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 Days to decompress and begin feeling safe 3 Weeks to learn your household routine 3 Months to fully settle into family life Gordoloba's sweet personality will continue to blossom as she realizes she is finally safe and loved. With patience and consistency, she will become an incredibly loyal companion who simply wants to be by your side. Her new family should continue providing: Gentle, positive reinforcement training Daily walks and regular exercise A predictable daily routine Mental enrichment through toys and interaction Continued socialization Plenty of love, patience, and reassurance Senior and adult rescue dogs often adjust beautifully because they are simply grateful to have a family of their own. Gordoloba is ready to repay that kindness with years of unconditional love. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Adopting Gordoloba is a lifelong commitment, and she deserves a family dedicated to providing excellent veterinary care, companionship, and a safe, loving home. As part of responsible pet ownership, Gordoloba will need: Annual veterinary wellness examinations Routine vaccinations as recommended by your veterinarian Monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention A balanced, nutritious diet to maintain a healthy weight Daily exercise appropriate for her age and activity level Continued mental enrichment and companionship A safe indoor home where she is treated as a cherished member of the family We recommend scheduling a wellness examination with your veterinarian shortly after adoption to establish care and help ensure Gordoloba continues to thrive for years to come. Adoption Information If you are interested in adopting Gordoloba, please complete an adoption application by visiting: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions Thank you for considering adoption through Ozzie and Friends Rescue, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit dedicated to giving homeless dogs a second chance at a loving home. Every application is carefully reviewed to help ensure the best possible match between each dog and their future family. Although we are based in Los Angeles, California, we proudly coordinate safe and reliable transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States, helping deserving dogs like Gordoloba find loving homes no matter where they live. Gordoloba is wondering why her family never came back. Our greatest wish is that the next car she rides in takes her to a home where she'll be loved, treasured, and never left behind again. ❤️July 24, 2026, 11:17 am

Whether she's out on an adventure, learning something new, or relaxing beside her favorite people, Lana is happiest when she's included in everyday life. Positive reinforcement, consistency, and plenty of encouragement will help her reach her full potential. Lana enjoys staying active and would thrive with regular walks, interactive play, puzzle toys, hiking, or training games that allow her to use her intelligence. Story
BEST WAY TO INQUIRE, EMAIL CONTACT@BAMMRESCUEPDX.ORG Montana is an affectionate 4-year-old Lab/Pit mix who’s ready to be your loyal companion for life. This sweet girl is a fetch fanatic who lives for playtime and loves nothing more than chasing balls with her favorite humans. She’s both treat and toy motivated and ready to learn new tricks. Montana gets along fine with other dogs, but she’s truly a people-focused pup who wants to be your number-one play partner. On a recent Doggie Day Out adventure, she proved to be a calm car passenger and a wonderful trail companion. She enjoys sniffy walks and likes to lead the way without pulling on the leash. Though Montana can be a little shy when meeting new people, she warms up quickly with patience (and a few tasty treats). Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys gentle petting and cuddle time with her friends. If you can toss a tennis ball, you’re already in her inner circle! Montana was placed on final because shelter life has become overwhelming for her. Repeated encounters with unfamiliar people reaching into her kennel have left her feeling uneasy, and she may growl or show her teeth to ask for space. But outside the kennel, Montana’s true personality shines—sweet, playful, and full of love. Montana will thrive in a calm, patient home that gives her time to decompress and build trus ##2599337##

Meet Joy, our sweet three-legged Tijuana Street survivor. She’s currently with our foster in Tijuana, but we would love to transport her to L.A. Asap just how we have done with other pups that have been happily adopted. Joy is a beautiful female medium Sized Australian cattle/Shepard mix; she adores children and gets along with other dogs. Don't be fooled, despite being three-legged, Joy still acts like a normal dog and enjoys running! Cats? Not a big fan. People? Absolutely!!! She is 5 years young, dewormed, fully vaccinated and spayed. She has been waiting over a year for her home! Let’s bring Joy home to the states!
