Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 Meet Tino🦕 Tino had spent time at the Gimje City Shelter. He wagged his tail whenever people passed by and climbed on top of the kennel he was tied to, just to try to make contact and say hello. He was rescued due to his earnest effort to make eye contact with people and how hard he wagged his tail. * With People: Is a cutie who really likes people! Is not shy and enjoys being petted. He even likes being held! * With Dogs: Gets along well with the other dogs at the Adogs Center. * Separation Anxiety: Unclear as he is living at the Center, but doesn’t seem to show any symptoms of separation anxiety. He may need training if he lives in a family home. * Potty Training: Goes potty outdoors at the Center. * Car sickness: Has no car sickness and does well in the car. 💌Special Notes💌 * As a puppy, he may need training for separation anxiety, nipping, biting, whining, making a mess, howling, barking, etc. * It’s hard to predict how much he will shed or his adult size since his parents are unknown. ❗Health Condition❗ *Heartworm negative.

Story
Meet Rown🖤 Rown was found on the street. He had swallowed stones and screws due to hunger, requiring emergency surgery. He also had an injury on his leg from his difficult life on the streets, but after surgery, he’s now in recovery. * With People: Loves people so much! Despite having a hard time in the past with accidents and struggles, he is endlessly affectionate and loves being around people. * With Dogs: Is full of energy and enjoys playing with other dogs. Is very playful and always approaches first to initiate play. * With Cats: Is curious and always watches them when they pass by. * Separation Anxiety: Currently resides with other dogs at the Center, so it’s hard to determine. Shows mild signs of separation anxiety when alone. * Potty Training: Is well-trained to go potty both indoors and outdoors. * Hygiene: Is still getting used to baths. Resists at first but cooperates well once he’s in the bath. Is also good with drying, brushing, and nail trimming. * Walks: Loves walks so much that he sometimes pulls on the leash when he gets excited. But it’s not severe and can be managed easily. * Car Sickness: Rides well without any signs of motion sickness. 💌Special Notes💌 * Has mastered several commands such as “sit” and “paw” about 80% of the time. * His right foreleg is chafed whenever he walks. A shoe is a must when he goes out for a walk. ❗Health Condition ❗ * Neutered. * Microchipped, and ankle surgery completed. * His right foreleg has been unfolded and stiffened after the ankle surgery. Has no issue in a daily life.

Story
Oreo is a 3-year-old male Border Collie/Jindo mix who was rescued from a shelter just before he was scheduled for euthanasia. Sadly, and for unknown reasons, before finding himself abandoned and alone at the shelter, his teeth had been deliberately ground down. Amazingly and despite this, he remains a lively, energetic, and otherwise healthy dog who is remarkably intelligent, craves human interaction, and is very loyal to his guardian. Oreo has the exceptional intelligence typical of Border Collies, fully understanding various commands such as "sit," "wait," and "house." He is also deeply loyal to his guardian and has a strong capacity for forming deep bonds typical of the Jindo breed. He is truly a remarkable dog who has the capacity to grow into an even more amazing companion through continued obedience training and by establishing a trusting relationship with his guardian. Oreo is incredibly affectionate and loves people. He is also very social and gets along well with other dogs. However, he has a habit of jumping when excited, which requires caution when a person is interacting with him in a low position. With consistent training, this behavior can be corrected. Being highly energetic, Oreo possesses excellent jumping ability. At the training center, he has been known to leap over fences—not out of a desire to escape, but due to his curiosity and strong attachment to his guardian. In fact, he has demonstrated behavior where he jumps over a fence when he hears his guardian's voice outside, only to return shortly after. For this reason, families with yards should ensure proper supervision, and a high-fenced environment may be more suitable. The Ideal Family for Oreo is: ✔️ Someone who understands the high intelligence and energy levels of Border Collies, the exceptional loyalty of Jindos, and can provide sufficient mental and physical stimulation ✔️ Someone with experience in training or handling large dogs ✔️ Someone who values bonding with their dog and is ready to build a deep connection ✔️ Someone who can provide ample space for Oreo to move and exercise freely Despite his heartbreaking past, Oreo still loves people and finds his greatest happiness in being with his guardian. With so much intelligence and energy, he has limitless potential to become the perfect lifelong companion if he meets the right family, one that understands him and is ready to provide him with love, care, and proper training. Oreo is waiting for his new family! ❤️

Story
Introducing Gervin – the puppy with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! At just 3 months old and 16 lbs, this Border Collie mix is already a pro at stealing hearts (and maybe a sock or two). Gervin is the perfect blend of sweet snuggler and fearless explorer — one minute he’s curled up in your lap like a little baby, and the next he’s off on a grand adventure across the living room, bravely conquering the terrifying land of...the vacuum cleaner. He’s crushing house training like a champ (seriously, this kid’s a genius), and he’s the ultimate social butterfly — great with kids, totally cool with cats, and absolutely loves hanging out with other dogs.If you’re looking for a furry best friend who will keep you laughing, love you endlessly, and maybe try to “help” you fold laundry (by running off with a sock), Gervin is ready to move in and start his happily ever after.Apply to adopt today — Gervin promises to bring the fun, the snuggles, and just a tiny bit of chaos!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.May 5, 2025, 11:29 am
