Story
* Special Needs Pup* Meet Boo, an adorable 10-month-old Terrier/Boxer mix who is eagerly searching for his forever home! 😍With a sweet and funny personality, Boo is sure to bring endless joy and laughter into your life. Although Boo is deaf, this does not dampen his vibrant spirit; in fact, it only adds to his charm and resilience. He approaches life with a playful attitude, proving that nothing can hold him back. Boo communicates in his own unique ways, showcasing his goofy nature and ability to connect with those around him. He loves to engage with his environment, whether he’s chasing after toys, exploring new places, or curling up for some cozy cuddle time. His affectionate disposition makes him a fantastic companion who thrives on human interaction and companionship. Due to some separation anxiety, Boo would do best in a home where someone works remotely or spends a significant amount of time at home. This arrangement would allow him to receive the love and attention he craves. While he's not a fan of being crated, Boo is proudly house trained, making him an easy addition to any household. Boo is incredibly adaptable and gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs, making him an ideal fit for families or anyone looking for a loving furry friend. His playful antics and loving nature create a warm atmosphere, ensuring that your home is filled with joy. Boo is searching for a loving family that will embrace him and help him flourish. He is neutered, microchipped, and UTD on vaccinations. If you’re ready to welcome a spirited and charming companion into your life, Boo could be the perfect match for you! Story
Found running on the Philly interstate, this sweet ~5 y/o girl is looking for a loving, experienced home. She’s house-trained, up to date on vaccines, and shows signs of past trauma—likely from an abusive background—but has never been aggressive. She’s loving and calm once she feels safe. Good with respectful kids, but not suitable for homes with young children who don’t know when to give space. She is currently living with two young children but they know not to overwhelm her. She’s been around cats and dogs but needs slow introductions—she’s cautious at first, though she does have a few dog friends. Due to allergies in our home, we can’t keep her long-term. She needs someone patient who understands how to work with a dog that’s had a rough start. Please reach out if you can give her the safe, stable home she deserves. Rehoming fee to recoup some of the cost of her wellness check and vaccinating her. Bed, food, bowls, leash, and toys included.

Story
Wombat is looking for his forever home. He is a 1 year old (4/30/24) pitbull. He is currently with a family who has a small child, several cats, and an older dog. Wombat gets along well with his passive, elderly dog brother but has not been successful with other dogs. Wombat would do best without other animals or young children in the home. He LOVES his people. He has a lot of energy and would thrive in a home where he can get a lot of exercise. He will sit on your lap all the time, bring you his toys for hours on end, and will regularly clean your face with kisses. He needs a patient, loving, knowledgeable family. His current family loves him very much but due to having the cats and a young child in the home, they cannot keep him. Wombat walks well on a leash, is potty trained. Wombat comes with his extensive wardrobe

Story
Miss Roxie is still looking for her forever home! Please share!! Roxie is a 1 year old Pittie & Catahoula Leopard Mix. Some of her many key features are her floppy ears, her chocolate brown eyes, & her white dipped feet. As a puppy she had a black coat but now her Catahoula colors are coming through as she gets older. An important thing to note about Roxie is that she requires some special care due to having only one kidney. With her prescription diet and a little extra bloodwork, Roxie will live a very happy life. Despite her condition, Roxie is a happy & energetic girl. Some of her favorite activities include learning new puzzle toys and games, getting the zoomies, and playing with her foster siblings. She is shy at first with new people so I believe she will do best with a home with adults and teenagers. Roxie could be happy as an only dog or she would love a big (dog) brother to romp with. A dog sibling her size (55 lbs) or larger would be the best fit. But if she’s the only dog in the home, I know she’d love soaking up the attention. Roxie has had one on one leash walk training and is very enthusiastic to learn. But I know she would thrive in a home with a yard or an active exercise partner for walks/runs.
