Mouse was surrendered to our rescue with her puppy, Cookie, after she surprised her former home with a baby. They decided they didn’t want to take care of her anymore so we picked her up and promised her a brighter future ahead. Now that Mouse has raised her puppy fabulously, she is ready for her own forever home! Mouse is a tiny little gal (6.5 pounds) who will delight any Chi lover! Mouse is a tiny girl with a huge heart ready to find her soulmate! Mouse adores her people once she gets to know them and will happily follow you forever if you let her. She loves affection and cuddles and will flop over on her back when she decides she wants pets. Mouse loves sitting on the couch on a blanket or an empty lap as she tilts her head back for scratches. Mouse is a great mix of playful and laid back as well. If you want to play a game of tag she is ready for zoomies but when she is done with playtime, she is ready to cuddle up for a long nap. Mouse is both food motivated and attention motivated and aims to please, so this smart gal will be fun to work on training with. As long as you are ready to show Mouse love and affection, you will have a faithful companion for life. Mouse wakes up at 7 AM in her playpen and heads outside for bathroom time. She spends some time playing with the foster family until she gets breakfast in her pen at 8 AM. She gets a few hours of playtime where she runs around with her puppy, follows her foster people around the house for snuggles, and lounges on her soft dog bed. She takes a long afternoon nap before getting a short walk around the neighborhood. Mouse gets dinner at 5 PM which she eagerly eats before trying to puppy dog eye her way into more treats. Mouse gets some pets and snuggles throughout the evening before she goes outside for one last potty session and then settles down in her pen for the night. Mouse gets along with other dogs of all sizes as long as she can go at her speed. She needs a bit of time to warm up to new people but is getting more confident by the day. Mouse has been introduced to the leash and walks. Mouse is crate trained and house trained. Mouse is so loving and adaptable and will be such a beloved member of her lucky forever family. Mouse is an option for just about any home, regardless of prior dog experience, as long as they are prepared to continue working on her confidence building. Kids in the home should be over the age of 10.March 28, 2024, 12:36 am
