Story
Ruth is the sweetest cuddliest pup. She is super smart and is learning the basics with ease! While she loves to run and play with her sisters, she is the first to snuggle into your arms and the last to leave your lap. She loves carrying her toys around and has typical puppy energy..eat, play, sleep, repeat. She likes to talk - to her sisters, to her toys, to the birds and has the cutest expressions. She is a small pup (her mom is 13 lbs). Her ideal home will be one that can spend lots of time with her to give her positive experiences and can keep her safe as she is tiny and quick. Ruth will be spayed/microchipped and UTD on vaccinations before going to her new home. Ruth will be spayed/microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.

Story
Diego  is a good boy, likes to be close to you when you're sitting around and working on the computer.  He's crate trained, and likes hanging out in his crate during the day when you're away from home.  At night, he learned very quickly to sleep on a bed on the floor, without trying to jump on my bed.  He sleeps quietly until you're ready to get up and let him out. Diego gets very excited to go for a walk, and gets vocal when he sees you putting on your shoes.  This is a behavior we're working to extinguish right now. Diego is nervous around new people.  He needs an adopter who will understand from dog stress signs and only let him approach them.  Diego is not a fit for young children in the home, as children can be unpredictable and make him nervous. Diego's adopters should understand that they should not stick their hands in his face unpredictably, he should be only calmly petted, especially by new people.  Once he knows and trusts you, he will roll over for belly rubs.  Diego is an affectionate dog, but it's best that he goes to a calm home where he can feel secure. Diego loves to play fetch!  He's also good with other dogs in the home. Diego can be a little leash reactive, where he barks and pulls towards other dogs.  This is a behavior we're also working on using positive reinforcement. Energy Level? Medium House trained? Mostly Describe how they are on leash? He pulls ahead initially but not hard, and will walk better after a few minutes.  Working on leash manners. Describe how they are with other dogs? Good in the same household. Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they? Yes, Diego has lived with cats in his previous home. Commands they know? Sit, going into his crate with a visual signal What are their favorite things? Playing fetch What do they need to work on? leash manners, he can benefit from more basic obedience cues. How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone? Good.  Up to 8 hours in his previous home. Where do they sleep? Crate during the day, on a dog bed on the floor at night. What is their ideal home? Adult only home, with people who are experienced around nervous dogs and understand stress signs.   July 19, 2024, 12:11 am

Tripod #Tripawd #Tripaw &#226&#173&#144&#239&#184&#143 Adopt Jackson, The Cutest Tripod &#226&#173&#144&#239&#184&#143 Lovingly called Jack, Jack is an 18-pound, 3-year-old dog. DNA test pending. Jack is eager to learn and is currently in a board-and-train program. He is crate and potty-trained. He is currently learning basic manners, commands, and socializing while living with a trainer in a home with her two dogs and a cat. Jack has had a difficult and challenging journey. He was surrendered to Every Pet's Dream Rescue in great pain. His backstory is unknown. Our vets did everything they could to help him, but unfortunately, after his first surgery failed, his back leg had to be amputated. Jack can be vocal at times when startled and was most likely not socialized as a puppy. He is currently working on these fears. While at the rescue, Jack learned to adapt as an amputee, his new living situation with several other dogs and a cat. While here, he became besties with two little rescue dogs. Jack is energetic, likes to play with little dogs, loves to play fetch, go for short walks, and settle in on the couch for a cuddle or snuggle. Jack loves the simple things in life, like belly rubs, ear scratches, lots of stuffed toys, and people. Jack would do best as an only dog or a home with a small, playful dog. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Jack is a sweet, loyal, and loving companion. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Jack is searching for a foster home or foster-to-adopt when he graduates from training at the end of the year. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 If you're looking for a new best friend, Jack might be the dog for you! Please spread the word, and let's find Jack his forever home!   For adoption consideration or to meet our dogs , please complete our online application:   www.everypetsdream.org/adopt , and  we will have everything we need to know to call you back and set up an appointment.  Follow us:  Facebook  and  Instagram    July 19, 2024, 12:11 am

Story
Charlotte  is a sweet, friendly, curious dog who is happy to jump into your lap for pets. Energy Level?  Medium (at times high) House trained? Yes, mostly Describe how they are on a leash. Great. Describe how they are with other dogs?  Overall dog friendly. She will play once she feels relaxed but prefers to initiate play. Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  Good with dog-savvy cats Cues they know?  Sit What are their favorite things? She loves attention, being petted, walking, toys, and food. What do they need to work on?  Charlotte would benefit from more basic training (like come, stay, etc.) She also can be vocal when excited (either when she sees someone she likes or if there is street noise outside) How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  Charlotte does not seem to suffer from separation anxiety as long as another dog is with her. I have left her alone for 6 to 7 hours at a time so far. Where do they sleep?  She sleeps in a dog bed or a crate. What is their ideal home? Charlotte's ideal home would have another dog or two unless a person is there most of the time. She loves going for short walks every day or a few times a day. She has tons of energy in the morning and at night. She will growl if a dog is too 'in her face' but overall has a good temperament with dogs and seems fine with cats. She does not enjoy being handled by a vet (i.e., getting shots), but other than that, she is great with people after being given a minute or two to acclimate. July 19, 2024, 12:11 am

Story
Leia is a friendly, full-of-personality dog who loves attention and loves to explore. Energy Level?  Medium/Low House trained?  Yes, mostly Describe how they are on leash?  Leia is mostly fantastic on a leash--she can bark at other dogs, and prefers a sniff walk (i.e very slow exploration) over a walk for exercise. Describe how they are with other dogs?  She needs to take a bit of time to relax around new dogs. She is a bit bossy and would not do well with dogs that will not back off if she needs space. Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  She does not appear to have been around cats too much. Commands they know?  Sit What are their favorite things?  Leia loves attention. She loves her sniff walks and cuddling up on the couch with a person. What do they need to work on?  Leia would benefit from more basic training (like come, stay, etc.). She can also be overly anxious when meeting new dogs. In addition, she can resource-guard her toys (or anything she deems as hers, like a stray sock or one of her jackets or blankets). How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  She can be anxious when left alone, even with other dogs. She might whine for a bit and scratch the door. I have left her alone for 6 to 7 hours at a time so far. Where do they sleep?  She sleeps in a dog bed or a crate. What is their ideal home?  Leia's perfect home would be where she gets a lot of attention (or at least can be close to her human when they are home). She loves going for slow sniff walks every day or a few times a day. She is delightful and loving but likes being the boss with other dogs. Her ideal home would not have dogs who are too 'in her face', but she does get along well with calm dogs after a proper slow introduction. July 19, 2024, 12:11 am
