Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee $400 plus taxHazel aka Peggy Lee aka 'Shawty' when we're Joking around, is a smart and spirited mix of maybe beagle, herding breed, and judging solely by some of her entertaining vocalizations, sea lion and Tasmanian devil. She seems to be always thinking and noticing. She may come off as a little standoffish at first, but as she warms up she loves a good belly rub and snuggle. She loves car rides and adventures, and would probably be a happy boating dog.    Her place at night is at the foot of my bed, but only after my other foster modeled the 'art' of co-sleeping with people for her. Hazel needs the company of another interactive dog in her home to help her know how to trust people. She is overly obsessive of cats, and very vocal, so she needs a cat-free home. Hazel really is a special kind of dog who is just what someone out there is seeking. This is not to say that she is perefect.  She is perfectly imperfect.  She is a high energy dog who will need very definite boundaries, a strong leader to make sure she is doing all that is asked of her and allowing freedom by process, not allowing her run of the house.  She will get overwhelmed and then her imperfection come out through teenage behaviors.  :0) Marigold prefers a home with a yard vs the apartment life! Marigold is :  - House trained - Crate Trained - Well-Mannered - Loves puppies - Walking well on leash Who is ready to help this girl continue to shine and be the most wonderful girl in the world?  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    *The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee: $550 plus taxHi! My name is Duncan and I am a spunky boy! It did take me a while to get to be this comfortable and spunky though. I was pretty nervous for almost a full week in my new foster home, but with the help of my foster doggie brothers and the patience of my foster parents, I've learned that humans aren't scary and hands can be gentle. I play really well with the other dogs and I like to play wrestle, chase, and tug-o-war. My foster home has these potty bells by the stairs and I'm supposed to ring them when I need to go, but I'm still learning. I just get so excited when I'm playing, that I forget! One place I never potty though is my kennel. I like to keep my kennel clean! I'm really good at going into my kennel when the humans in my house leave for work, and I also sleep in my kennel at night. Just say, 'kennel!' and I'll walk right in. I get a biscuit every time! The humans say I have to sleep in my kennel until I'm potty trained. When I'm out of my kennel and playing, I like to run and give kisses to my humans! They let me snuggle and play on the bed and getting belly rubs is amazing! Sometimes I fall asleep in the human bed at my foster mom's feet and I have to get carried to the kennel at bed time. It's important to know that my past is not fully known, and I do get nervous around new people and new places and I take a while to warm up. I stayed at a vacation foster for a couple nights and I hid behind the living room chair when we were inside - I just wasn't sure! But if you choose me to be your forever, just know I need some time but I will be your best friend once I know for sure you're safe. Speaking of safe, it would be best for me to have a doggie sibling to learn from and help me feel comfortable! I'm still kinda scared of the leash, but a harness could work much better for me! I have cat siblings at my foster home, and I'm usually OK with them, but I do like to chase sometimes and try to play with them like I do the dogs. If my new family has cats, just remember to be patient with me as I'm still a baby and learning all things dog. I just know I'll be a great addition to your family! Story
Location: Jackson, MN Hi, I'm Cristina! I'm a loving pup. I love the chew on bones and toys. I'm still working on potty training. I like to go on walks and pull occasionally when walking. I like to play with other dogs and get along well with them. Cats, on the other hand I like to chase and don't quite know how to get along with. I'm doing well with crate training but like to wake up early morning and bark as I need to go outside. ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
