Story
Hi! My name is Clary, and I am from Texas! Spunky, energetic, and full of love, Clary is looking for an active home where she can run, play, go on walks, and be part of everyday family life. She’s really enjoying learning to walk on a leash and exploring new places beyond the yard. Like most puppies, she gets excited, especially when she sees squirrels or rabbits. She’s settling nicely into a routine, doing well in her crate at night and for a few hours during the day when needed (tried max 4 hours so far). Clary is also making great progress with potty training, with only a few accidents in the past couple of weeks. She plays well with her sister and other dogs. She’ll make an amazing addition to a loving and active home!

Story
I am looking for a temp foster home from June 8th-July 20th! Please email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org if you can help out! A portion of my adoption fee has been sponsored by The Wilbur Fund. The adoption fee sponsorship credit of $250.00 will be applied during the contract process. Hi, my name is Ringo, and I am from Tennessee! Ringo is a special dog. He’s a male Australian Cattle Dog/Red Speckled Heeler, and true to his breed. Instead of trying to move cattle along, another dog will do! In play he will nip at my dog’s heels, which inspires her to more play and soon both dogs are rolling around, then up and racing around the obstacle course in my back yard! Ringo plays hard, but gently. He loves to jump up after squirrels and birds in the trees and bushes, so he’ll need a 5 foot or higher fence. Then with a single call “come” he responds and comes on command. He’s smart, easy to please, and will look to his person for assurance, for he experiences separation anxiety. He has progressed so much, but he will need a person with patience and is willing to help him feel less anxious. Also, a resident dog about his size (30-40 lbs) will help him become less dependent on his person. Ringo is very well behaved in the house and on walks. With training he’s learning to not react to other dogs and their people. He is very gentle with my cat and has warmed up to my 11 year old granddaughter. On a short leash he has not reacted nervously to small children. He will bark loudly at certain outside noises or when in the car and people walk by but is learning to stop barking when commanded to stop. Each day he seems to relax more as he experiences new activities and sights. He enjoys his walks and won’t wander far from your side, often checking to see you following. Training assistance has been very beneficial to Ringo. At this time a woman would be the best fit for Ringo, with slow introductions to men/boys he does not know. He definitely has a gentleness about him, and would love a forever home.

Story
Location: Buffalo, MN After 3 years in a home, Greta sadly found herself back in rescue. Despite everything, this sweet girl continues to be nothing but loving, loyal, and ready to give her whole heart. Greta is truly the total package: 🐾 House trained 🐾 Crate trained 🐾 Knows all her basic commands 🐾 Great with dogs and cats 🐾 Calm, affectionate, and easy to love Her only requirements? Greta needs a home without children and should be fed separately due to resource guarding around food and treats. Outside of mealtime, she happily coexists with other animals and has been an amazing foster dog. Greta is still feeling a little unsure being returned, and it can take her a few minutes to get over her initial stranger danger. Once you win her over, she’s the kind of dog who settles in beside you like she’s always belonged. After losing the family she thought was forever, Greta deserves a second chance with someone who will love her for life! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
Meet Pancake, a playful and affectionate collie-beagle mix all the way from Texas! At around 1 year old, this fun-loving girl is full of personality, curiosity, and youthful energy. She’s always ready for her next adventure and would thrive in an active home that enjoys hiking, camping, exploring, or simply spending lots of time outdoors. Pancake absolutely loves being outside—running, sniffing, exploring, and watching the world go by from the front steps are some of her favorite things. She’s a silly, happy girl who brings enthusiasm to everything she does and would make a wonderful companion for an active family or someone looking for an adventure buddy. She’s settling nicely into home life, sleeps quietly in her kennel overnight, and is learning the routines of being a well-loved family dog. Like many young adults, Pancake still has plenty of energy and will benefit from continued training, structure, and patience as she works on her manners. Right now, her excitement can come out in enthusiastic jumping, but she’s smart, eager to learn, and responds well to guidance. Pancake is affectionate, loyal, and loves being part of the action. Her ideal forever family will embrace her playful spirit while helping her continue to build confidence and skills as she grows. If you’re looking for a sweet, energetic dog who’s ready to love big and live life to the fullest, Pancake is ready to pack her bags and move in!

Meet Dai Mar – The Gentle Gentleman with a Playful Spark! Age: 12 years (13 in August) | Breed: Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog Mix Weight:    66 lbs | Adoption Fee: $375 | Neutered: Yes Don’t let his age fool you— Dai Mar may be a senior in years, but he still has the heart (and play drive!) of a much younger pup. This sweet, easygoing guy loves squeaky toys, a good game of tug-of-war, and—most of all—being near his people. He’s the kind of companion who’ll be by your side through thick and thin, offering loyalty, love, and the occasional goofy grin. Dai Mar is friendly with everyone he meets, including other dogs, cats, and respectful kiddos. He’s potty trained with a regular routine but does have an occasional accident, hasn’t needed to be crated, preferring to spend his time near the people he loves. While he's mostly agile, he occasionally needs a little help going up and down steps—but he’s still active and enjoys moving around. He is a vocal guy when it comes to unexpected noises, so a quiet, calm home would suit him best. If you’re looking for a gentle, devoted friend with a golden heart and a playful streak, Dai Mar might be the perfect match for you. He’s ready to bring joy, love, and companionship into a home that will treasure him as much as he’ll treasure you. Ready to meet Dai Mar? Apply today and give this sweet senior the cozy, love-filled home he deserves. A s a rescue, we provide the care, procedures and testing that is available to us. Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). At times, adopters will be responsible for procedures not completed in rescue (dentals, bloodwork, etc.)  Your new dog will receive their rabies and distemper vaccine.  $50 discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies and distemper) HW test and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal.   Grey Face Rescue does not adopt outside of Minnesota for now. We apologize for the inconvenience.  We do not adopt animals to families whose current pets are not up-to-date on vaccinations or not altered. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons as stated by a veterinarian and we will require proof of that recommendation. Story
Hi! My name is Charlie, and I am from Arkansas! Charlie is the definition of a sweet puppy with a heart full of love and a growing personality to match. Now at 4 months old, he’s embracing all the fun parts of puppyhood — curious, playful, and always ready to be part of whatever is happening around him. Charlie is friendly with everyone he meets, including cats, dogs, and humans. He loves following his foster family around the house to see what they’re doing and making sure he doesn’t miss out on any action. While he still loves his cuddle time and being close to his people, he also has that classic puppy energy and enjoys playing, exploring, and keeping himself busy with toys (especially chew toys!). He sleeps well in his crate overnight and enjoys being near his people, whether that means playing, relaxing nearby, or curling up for snuggles after a busy day. Charlie loves other dogs and gets excited to make new friends. He enjoys having canine companions and is always happy for a chance to play, socialize, and be part of the fun. He’s just as happy being included in family activities and wants to be wherever his people are. Charlie is the perfect mix of sweet lovebug and playful puppy. If you’re looking for a happy, affectionate pup who will keep you smiling, keep you company, and happily snuggle up after a day of adventures, Charlie could be your perfect match!

Story
Nyx is the kind of dog who quietly works her way into your heart and never leaves. This almost-3-year-old, 40# Border Collie has the sweetest, most adoring personality. Her tail never stops wagging, especially when she’s near her favorite people... which is exactly where she always wants to be. Nyx is happiest being included in everyday life. Whether she’s lounging on the couch, quietly relaxing in the office while her person works, sitting outside on the patio, or joining you for a leisurely walk, she radiates calm companionship. She has a medium energy level with occasional happy bursts of excitement, but overall, she’s incredibly easy to live with. Watching Nyx blossom and discover “dog things” has been a pleasure. She’s learning to enjoy adventures, figuring out toys and did great at a quiet restaurant patio. She gains confidence with car rides and new experiences. Around the neighborhood, she meets kids and neighbors, encounters bikes and other traffic, and handles all the activity like a champ. Nyx gets along well with other dogs and cats in her foster home. She’s far more people-focused than dog-focused. She would thrive in almost any loving home as long as she has the opportunity to expand her horizons with continued socialization. She wants daily exercise like neighborhood walks and enjoys cuddles after a fun day. She’s comfortable in a crate, walks nicely on leash, and doesn’t require a fenced yard, though she she would enjoy having one (right now she isn't quite sure what to do in the yard but her independence is growing). Nyx is a delightful, lovely and happy girl looking for people who share her optimistic view of life and all it has to offer. She deserves a truly special home that is as devoted to her as she will be to them. To know her is to love her! APPLY to adopt Nyx at hoabcr.org/how-to-adopt Nyx is being fostered in Rochester, MN. She’s currently healing beautifully from a flea allergy that caused some hair loss and is almost finished with treatment for Ehrlichia. Through it all, Nyx has remained gentle, affectionate, and incredibly loving. Nyx's adoption fee is $450 + MN sales tax. She is microchipped and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. She will be spayed when her current medications are complete: likely in June. The cost of this procedure is included in her adoption fee. Upon adoption, all of our dogs go to their new homes with a collar and harness, leash, starter food, blanket, favorite toys & treats. They are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. We are located in Minnesota and adopt to an area 400 miles from Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Story
Meet Jack, a young hearted 7-year-old, 45# Border Collie with the perfect blend of adventure buddy and cuddle companion wrapped in a lovable, fluffy package. He is a mature guy who has figured out the balance between having fun and time to relax. His foster family describes him as responsible, charismatic, loving, and endlessly positive: the kind of dog who wants to make his people smile. He’s a doof! Jack lives to be outside. The woods are his happy place, whether he’s romping with canine friends, stretching his legs on a run, or keeping an eye on squirrels to ensure they stay in their trees. If you love hiking, jogging or exploring trails, Jack will happily be your loyal sidekick. He’s also fantastic in the car and thinks road trips are one of life’s greatest joys. Despite his love for activity, Jack is not a high-maintenance, nonstop-energy dog. He’s solidly medium energy and settles beautifully after exercise. In the evenings, his favorite place is curled up beside - or preferably on - his humans. He is a devoted lap dog and cuddle expert. Jack is wonderfully experienced in the world. He has lived with children, gets along great with other dogs, and even shares his home with three cats. He walks nicely on a gentle leader and can be trusted loose in the house. He is well-behaved, and he doesn’t chase cars, lunge at people, or react to animals. All he wants is engagement with his special person or family. The ideal home for Jack has Border Collie experience and understands smart dogs. They are fully engaged with their pups and will provide physical and mental activities to keep him happy. If you’re an outdoor enthusiast and love smart dogs who are more person than they are canine, Jack is your guy!
