Story
Sola is a very sweet female Collie mix born in approximately March 2023. We don’t know a lot about her history, but it is clear that she has had lots of love and interaction with humans throughout her life.  This girl is extremely affectionate, sweet, playful and smart.  She truly is a wonderful pup! Sola learned potty training quickly and is now fully trained!  She is very good in the house as well.  She tends to stay off the furniture (except when she’s feeling lovey), and doesn’t chew or grab inappropriate things.  She prefers her toys and doesn’t counter-surf.  She sleeps in a crate, and stays in there quietly all night.  We have, on occasion, crated her during the day for up to 4-5 hours at a time and she does very well.  Sola gets along well with other dogs of all sizes, and even interacts nicely with cats.  She does like to play a little energetically at times, so smaller or older dogs may not appreciate her enthusiasm.  Outdoors, Sola likes to explore.  The woods are her favorite!  She’s great on a leash, and would make a perfect hiking buddy, or walking partner.  At home, she would do best with a fenced yard, but she does very well on a tie-out as well.  What we are working on with Sola:  she's enrolled in an obedience class, and we expect her to do very well.  We have been teaching her that not everyone loves kisses (she loves to lick, but this is improving), she is learning basic commands (she knows sit, down, get down, leave it and treat….selectively understands come and stay (distractions sometimes get her attention).   She can be pretty high energy when she gets excited, although she can also be calm, quiet and loving at other times.  We feel that all of these are manageable and will take some time and consistency. Some of our favorite things about Sola:  she rarely barks, she’s always happy to see us, she gets along with all of the other dogs (and cats) in our home.  She is very eager to learn.  We love the way she prances and hops around in the morning, simply because it’s morning.  She is such a good, easy dog already but we feel she has a ton of potential.  We can’t wait to meet the lucky family who gets to call this girl their own!  Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Hi, I’m Sammy. I’m a collie beagle mix born approximately 3/17/21. I have the legs of a collie, but the beagle side of my personality is what comes out the most when it comes to sniffing. When I came to NDLB I was heartworm-positive and had a skin issue. I just finished my heartworm treatments and as you can tell from my pictures my fur has grown back beautifully. I get complimented on my coloring a lot when out for walks. Once I decide you’re my human I will stick to you like glue. I do well with my foster parent's dogs but sometimes if they are playing, I will mistake it for aggression and growl. I quickly stop if told no. Other than that, I get along great with them. I would be a great only dog since I love my humans. I go to the office with my foster mom and do well with all the customers that come in and the pesky office cats I just ignore. I’m quiet as far as barking unless I see deer or other critters on my walk. I sleep well all night on a dog bed in my foster parent's bedroom. I prefer not to be in a crate.  I do have separation issues when my foster mom leaves me at home and I have escaped from the house twice but as soon as she pulled up, I was right there by the car. This might be because I go to the office with her every day but it is something that needs to be considered. My foster parents think I’m super smart and maybe training and longer daily walks or a fenced-in yard would help with the separation issues.  I’m a very happy girl and love my walks but also don’t mind a good snuggle on the couch or right by your feet. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Location: Sioux Falls, SD This here is Brantley (but prefers the name Max). He is very sweet, playful and loves to cuddle. Completely potty trained but still not a fan of his kennel. He does have some anxiety when his humans are away, and this is still being worked on. He is a sweet boy but will need an understanding and patient home. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Don’t let his age fool you—this sweet and gentle gentleman still has plenty of playful energy and loves a good game of tug-of-war or squeaky toys. Dai Mar gets along wonderfully with everyone he meets, including other animals, and his easygoing nature makes him a joy to be around. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be by your side through all of life’s adventures. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a heart of gold, Dai Mar is truly a treasure waiting to be part of your family. Current medications & estimated costs: None Adoption fee: $375 As a rescue, we provide the care, procedures and testing that is available to us. Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). At times, adopters will be responsible for procedures not completed in rescue (dentals, bloodwork, etc.)  Your new dog will receive their rabies and distemper vaccine.  $50 discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies and distemper) HW test and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal.   Grey Face Rescue does not adopt outside of Minnesota for now. We apologize for the inconvenience.  We do not adopt animals to families whose current pets are not up-to-date on vaccinations or not altered. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons as stated by a veterinarian and we will require proof of that recommendation. Thank you for understanding our mission to reduce overpopulation.  Once you submit your application, our adoption manager will be in touch, so please check your spam folder if you do not see something from us within 7-10 days.  Thank you again for your interest in a Grey Face senior. Foster mama says I look just like a smiling, cuddly stuffed teddy bear—and I’m just as sweet and huggable! My favorite pastime? Chewing on a bully stick while snuggling in foster mama’s lap. I’m a laid-back, loving little guy who enjoys the simple joys in life—like cozy snuggles, tasty treats, and lots of attention. My fuzzy ears are the perfect finishing touch to my adorable look—and my personality is just as bold as my appearance! Foster mama says I'm packed with sass, but don't let that fool you. Beneath my spunky attitude is a heart full of love. I’m a playful, clever pup who knows how to turn every moment into an adventure. Whether I’m romping around the yard with my foster fur siblings, chasing after a toy, or striking a pose (because, yes, I know I’m cute), I’m always the life of the party. And just like my 3 siblings, I’ve mastered litterbox training—impressive, right? Potty training outside is still a work in progress, but I’m determined to get it right. I’m looking for a forever family that can keep up with my zest for life and give me all the cuddles I deserve. Could that be you? If so, get ready—this sassy little pup is going to steal your heart! Story
Come and meet me at our adoption event at Trove Brewing, Burnsville on 5/3 from 2 pm - 4 pm! Age: Estimated DOB 2/10/2025 Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Yes Kid friendly: Yes Potty trained: No, I'm just a puppy Crate trained: No, I'm just a puppy Hi, I am Kite the most adorable little puppy you have ever seen! I love to sleep, eat and play - in that order. Of course, I also like to be cuddled but playing with my 4 little siblings always comes first. The three large resident dogs at my foster home put up with me and have already taught me many things so I don’t get into too much trouble. I am still working on potty training but know what to do when my foster parents take me outside. I absolutely love playing with toys and discover everything in the yard. I am a boy of few words so I will get straight to the point. I am in search of a fur-ever home with a family who will love me. Is that you? Adoption Fee: $595
